My husband and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Ziling Mountain View Suite. The entire villa is beautifully decorated but in a way that feels lived in rather than pretentious. It's like being invited to a friend's home in the mountains. If you are a book-lover like me, you will enjoy the villa and rooms even more because there are shelves full of books everywhere you look. When you are not seeing books, you are seeing the stunning gardens or views of the surrounding mountains. We loved the daybed in our suite, covered in colourful pillows with a window that perfectly frames the mountain view and we spent evenings curled up there with books. During the day we were in search of hikes and our host, who loves to travel and hike himself, had lots of thoughtful recommendations. There is a very steep (and beautiful) trail just steps away from the house that leads you up the mountain through bamboo forest, past a local temple, and up to a field with sweeping views. We had both breakfast and dinner at the villa and the food was incredible, including very fresh fruit and vegetables, simple and delicious noodles, and beautifully cooked pork, chicken, and seafood dishes. We were also treated to homemade Tiramisu (made by the owner). It feels like the owner genuinely enjoys sharing this beautiful property with guests and finding ways to help make your experience unique and memorable. This was my first time in China and warm and generous hosts like this, combined with the beauty of the area, make me eager to return.

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. El hotel está situado en una colina en un bosque de bambú. No hay vecinos alrededor, por lo que en Arcadia podrás disfrutar de la naturaleza y relajarte del ruido de la ciudad. Unas vacaciones en Arcadia son perfectas para grupos de amigos, familias, con tu pareja o solos. La habitación es espaciosa, luminosa, bien ventilada, la cama es grande, nuestra habitación tenía un balcón con vistas al valle. Hay muchos lugares para relajarse, 2 jacuzzis y una gran piscina. ¡Quedamos encantados con la comida! Incluso a nosotros, los extranjeros, nos gustó mucho la cocina china de este hotel. La cocina europea y el servicio de platos son geniales, nunca hemos visto este nivel en otros hoteles. Los ingredientes de los platos son frescos y de buena calidad. Además de la buena comida, Arcadia también tiene el mejor servicio entre todos los hoteles en los que hemos estado. ¡Gracias Terry por eso! El personal es amable y servicial. Nos recibieron y acompañaron como buenos amigos. El propietario de Arcadia Ernest es una persona hospitalaria, amable e interesante con un inglés excelente. Nos dio un recorrido por el hotel, nos mostró rutas de senderismo con maravillosas vistas de las plantaciones de té y el valle, y nos contó muchas historias sobre el hotel y sus alrededores. ¡En nuestro próximo viaje a Shanghai, definitivamente planearemos una visita a Arcadia!

Overall, our stay was a bit disappointing, especially given the high reviews, which had set our expectations quite high. Although the hotel is relatively new, it lacks proper maintenance. The swimming pool and sunbathing area were not very clean. There was mold building up in the shower, and the rug in the room looked old and dirty. Additionally, there were no doors separating the bathroom and toilet areas, which was inconvenient. Sound insulation was poor — we could hear people talking in nearby rooms and common areas quite clearly. The hotel's location is right next to a busy road, which was not apparent from the photos. Contrary to the hotel description, there was no bamboo forest nearby, so our plan to escape the city for a peaceful countryside retreat didn’t work out as we had hoped. On a positive note, the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Some fruit and tea were provided free of charge, and the homemade Chinese-style breakfast was decent. The hotel is also within walking distance to the town center and several restaurants, which was convenient.

¡Esta estancia superó mis expectativas, tengo que halagarla a fondo! La habitación tiene un estilo rústico de madera natural que irradia tranquilidad, con lámparas colgantes de mimbre que le dan un toque cálido y texturizado. Los grandes ventanales enmarcan perfectamente el exuberante bambú verde, y al abrir la puerta del balcón te encuentras con un mar de verdor y la brisa de la montaña. Sentarse a tomar té y disfrutar de la vista te calma al instante. El baño también cuenta con una bañera con vistas, lo que te permite contemplar el bosque mientras te das un baño, creando un ambiente inmejorable. Cada detalle de la decoración muestra un cuidado exquisito, con juegos de té y adornos que evocan una elegante esencia china. Las áreas comunes tienen un diseño único y espectacular, con una enorme instalación artística calada y escaleras de piedra de estilo retro; cualquier foto que tomes aquí será digna de una revista. Es perfecto tanto para relajarse y descansar como para tomar fotos. Todo está impecable y bien organizado, con un diseño espacioso y confortable. Lejos del bullicio de la ciudad, es ideal para una escapada relajante en la montaña, ya sea para desconectar en soledad o para una estancia corta con amigos. ¡Ya lo he añadido a mi lista para una segunda visita y lo recomiendo encarecidamente a quienes busquen un refugio tranquilo en la montaña!

¡Sesenta habitaciones, cada habitación es diferente! ¡Y cada habitación es hermosa! Me gusta especialmente el gran césped y las esculturas artísticas➕piscina infinita. Y los lindos perros y gatos son tan curativos. A mi hijo le gustó tanto que no quería irse. 😃Un agradecimiento especial al ama de llaves Xiao Chen, quien estuvo muy atenta al ayudar a organizar todo. ¡Vendrá la próxima vez!

A Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement The hotel can be difficult to identify when you first arrive because there is no sign directly on the building. Instead, the sign is attached to a gate that usually remains open, so it becomes partially folded and easy to miss. The hotel also does not have on-site parking. Guests park across the street at the restaurant where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast was traditional Chinese and included steamed buns, sweet potato, a hard-boiled egg, watermelon, tea, and milk. Everything was very tasty. Coffee was also available, but it cost extra. The people looking after the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were filling the swimming pool after cleaning it and told us it would be ready later that day. Although the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, it did not quite meet our cleanliness standards because the deeper areas still appeared slightly cloudy. However, many other guests were comfortable using it, and we saw people enjoying the pool every day. The library area was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, there was a strong smell of mildew that made it difficult to spend much time there. These were the main drawbacks of our stay. Our room, however, was lovely. It smelled fresh, the bed was firm and very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The staff emptied the rubbish and replenished our drinking water every day. The bathroom products were high quality, and toothbrushes were provided upon arrival. The room would have been even better if there had been enough towels for everyone staying in it and if the water had been slightly hotter. The hotel is located directly beside the river, with access to a peaceful riverside walk through beautiful gardens. There is also an elevated walkway farther down the road that looked interesting, although we did not have the opportunity to explore it. The river area was especially relaxing, and if I return, I would bring folding chairs and a small folding table so we could sit in the shallow water, relax, and play games. Most attractions and restaurants are approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The receptionist tried to help us with maps and itineraries. Unfortunately, even after attempting to find the same hike on three different days, we were unable to locate the trailhead. It seemed that even local residents were not very familiar with the exact route. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that it is pet-friendly and does not charge an additional pet fee, which was an important reason we chose it. The gentleman at reception also helped us secure a dinner reservation at Naked Ranch, where we had a wonderful evening. Moganshan is a beautiful destination, and overall, this hotel provided a comfortable stay. There is certainly some room for improvement, but I would return because I slept incredibly well and appreciated the warm, helpful service. Thank you again to the staff for all their assistance.

對於山頂的賓館來説，這樣的硬件算總體可以了。房間也不潮濕，該有的都有。就是9號樓這裏的窗户好小沒有陽台，對於有洗曬需求的住客不太方便。 住了2晚，第一晚有半扇窗沒有關，結果半夜聽到蟬不斷砸窗台然後又拚命地叫，幾百幾千衹一起叫的那種，有點像在鋸木頭。哈哈哈！第二晚關了窗就聽不見了，長者小孩倒是完全沒被吵醒，山裡的空氣太好了吧。 環境的5分更多是户外的無邊泳池！泳池這裏的風景太好看了！！！如果不怕曬願意每天去游泳，那麼住這裏性價比太高了吧！N年前住過的新加坡有個最出名的無邊泳池感覺也不如這個好看，可能本人更喜歡純自然的景色吧！泳池的值班小哥哥非常非常的負責，我們遊晚了還在認真地多等了10分鐘也沒有催，還囑咐長者孩子走慢一點。 又，山上吃飯性價比不高，倒不如直接在酒店的餐廳解決了，還有前台給的8折券，建議單點就可以，性價比高比套餐好得多。還有咖啡館的披薩很不錯，小孩子很喜歡。

Very nice place, isolated and peaceful. Very big rooms with comfortable bed for excellent rest. I also appreciated the design of the common areas. All the staff, and in particular the guy ”Mark” (who spoke a good English for the standards), was very kind and professional, I felt like I was at home. I loved also the Chinese breakfasts!
