My husband and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Ziling Mountain View Suite. The entire villa is beautifully decorated but in a way that feels lived in rather than pretentious. It's like being invited to a friend's home in the mountains. If you are a book-lover like me, you will enjoy the villa and rooms even more because there are shelves full of books everywhere you look. When you are not seeing books, you are seeing the stunning gardens or views of the surrounding mountains. We loved the daybed in our suite, covered in colourful pillows with a window that perfectly frames the mountain view and we spent evenings curled up there with books. During the day we were in search of hikes and our host, who loves to travel and hike himself, had lots of thoughtful recommendations. There is a very steep (and beautiful) trail just steps away from the house that leads you up the mountain through bamboo forest, past a local temple, and up to a field with sweeping views. We had both breakfast and dinner at the villa and the food was incredible, including very fresh fruit and vegetables, simple and delicious noodles, and beautifully cooked pork, chicken, and seafood dishes. We were also treated to homemade Tiramisu (made by the owner). It feels like the owner genuinely enjoys sharing this beautiful property with guests and finding ways to help make your experience unique and memorable. This was my first time in China and warm and generous hosts like this, combined with the beauty of the area, make me eager to return.

Recientemente nos disfrutamos de un alojamiento 4-night en Mo Yan Homestay (Mo MogunshanVilla ringenshan me) con nuestros dos niños. El hotel dispone de una amplia piscina al aire libre, un área de grill y un barbacoa de piso. Para entretenimiento interior, el hotel ofrece una mesa de billar en el piso, así como un juego de arcade que nuestros niños no podían conseguir suficiente. El balcón de la habitación ofrece vistas impresionantes del río, las montañas y los lujosos bosques de bambú que se encuentran frente al hotel. Pero lo que realmente separa a Mo Yan Homestay son los anfitriones, que son uno de los mejores que hemos conocido en China, lo que nos hace sentir completamente en casa. Esta fue nuestra segunda visita a Moganshan, y gracias a la increíble hospitalidad en Mo Yan, no será nuestra última. Estamos ya esperando nuestra próxima visita. Overall, our stay was a bit disappointing, especially given the high reviews, which had set our expectations quite high. Although the hotel is relatively new, it lacks proper maintenance. The swimming pool and sunbathing area were not very clean. There was mold building up in the shower, and the rug in the room looked old and dirty. Additionally, there were no doors separating the bathroom and toilet areas, which was inconvenient. Sound insulation was poor — we could hear people talking in nearby rooms and common areas quite clearly. The hotel's location is right next to a busy road, which was not apparent from the photos. Contrary to the hotel description, there was no bamboo forest nearby, so our plan to escape the city for a peaceful countryside retreat didn’t work out as we had hoped. On a positive note, the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Some fruit and tea were provided free of charge, and the homemade Chinese-style breakfast was decent. The hotel is also within walking distance to the town center and several restaurants, which was convenient.

Nos quedamos solo una noche pero muy impresionados con la hospitalidad del personal y el gerente que nos saludó y atendió durante nuestra estancia, muy amable y servicial. la cena es excepcional muy deliciosa. Muy recomendable este pequeño hotel hogareño, muy tranquilo por la noche, ambiente tranquilo y limpio. Incluso conseguimos un agradable viaje en vehículo eléctrico a un precio razonable desde Shanghai y de regreso a Shanghai, un conductor muy amable, un tipo muy interesante. Los caminos a lo largo del camino son increíbles, hermosos paisajes, limpios y verdes.

Absolutely a must visit place. The cabins are really cozy and modern but still in the forest. There is nothing what you could miss. The restaurants are really good as well especially the Kikaboni, if your are looking for something fancy. The hiking trails through the bamboo forest and teafields are relaxing as well.

Desafortunadamente, lluvió durante nuestra llegada, lo que fue un poco decepcionante porque esperamos explorar más de los hermosos entornos y experiencias al aire libre que el resort tiene que ofrecer. Aun así, la atmosfera agradable y la hospitalidad de la ciudad han hecho que nuestra estadía sea increíblemente agradable. ¡Sesenta habitaciones, cada habitación es diferente! ¡Y cada habitación es hermosa! Me gusta especialmente el gran césped y las esculturas artísticas➕piscina infinita. Y los lindos perros y gatos son tan curativos. A mi hijo le gustó tanto que no quería irse. 😃Un agradecimiento especial al ama de llaves Xiao Chen, quien estuvo muy atenta al ayudar a organizar todo. ¡Vendrá la próxima vez!

Moshangyin hotel is a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway in Moganshan. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, perfect for resting, slowing down, and enjoying nature away from busy city life. The interior design is beautifully done, creating a warm and comfortable environment from the moment you arrive. The room was excellent, very cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful mountain view that makes the whole experience even more special. One of the highlights is the tea room, which is thoughtfully designed for tea preparation and relaxation. The decoration combines traditional and modern elements in a very tasteful way, with beautiful details, instruments, and carefully selected design pieces. The entire space feels artistic and calming. The property is surrounded by abundant greenery and plants everywhere, especially outdoors, which makes the environment feel fresh and natural. Sitting there and looking out toward the bamboo forests is incredibly peaceful and contemplative. Whether the weather is sunny or cloudy, the atmosphere remains equally pleasant and charming. Another lovely detail is the nearby stream—you can hear the gentle sound of flowing water, which adds even more tranquility to the stay. The staff are very kind, welcoming, and attentive, making guests feel comfortable, almost as if they are in their own natural home environment. The guests staying there are also respectful and pleasant, contributing to the calm atmosphere. Transportation is also very convenient, with taxis arriving quickly and reliably. There is a nearby village called Yucun that is lovely to visit, and many scenic areas around the hotel are easily accessible as well. Overall, this is an ideal place for anyone looking for peace, beautiful design, nature, and a truly relaxing experience in Moganshan.
