My husband and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Ziling Mountain View Suite. The entire villa is beautifully decorated but in a way that feels lived in rather than pretentious. It's like being invited to a friend's home in the mountains. If you are a book-lover like me, you will enjoy the villa and rooms even more because there are shelves full of books everywhere you look. When you are not seeing books, you are seeing the stunning gardens or views of the surrounding mountains. We loved the daybed in our suite, covered in colourful pillows with a window that perfectly frames the mountain view and we spent evenings curled up there with books. During the day we were in search of hikes and our host, who loves to travel and hike himself, had lots of thoughtful recommendations. There is a very steep (and beautiful) trail just steps away from the house that leads you up the mountain through bamboo forest, past a local temple, and up to a field with sweeping views. We had both breakfast and dinner at the villa and the food was incredible, including very fresh fruit and vegetables, simple and delicious noodles, and beautifully cooked pork, chicken, and seafood dishes. We were also treated to homemade Tiramisu (made by the owner). It feels like the owner genuinely enjoys sharing this beautiful property with guests and finding ways to help make your experience unique and memorable. This was my first time in China and warm and generous hosts like this, combined with the beauty of the area, make me eager to return.

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Nos quedamos solo una noche pero muy impresionados con la hospitalidad del personal y el gerente que nos saludó y atendió durante nuestra estancia, muy amable y servicial. la cena es excepcional muy deliciosa. Muy recomendable este pequeño hotel hogareño, muy tranquilo por la noche, ambiente tranquilo y limpio. Incluso conseguimos un agradable viaje en vehículo eléctrico a un precio razonable desde Shanghai y de regreso a Shanghai, un conductor muy amable, un tipo muy interesante. Los caminos a lo largo del camino son increíbles, hermosos paisajes, limpios y verdes.

El mejor hotel al que he ido en mi vida. Me pareció fantástico. La cena tiene el menú cerrado y está riquísima a un precio muy económico (desde españa). El servicio es muy amable. Ojo, la domótica de la habitación solo estaba en chino, lo que fue muy gracioso y divertido. Lo recomiendo altamente.

La tabla de libros entera está llena de capas de capa de ropa, la tabla de madera original está cortada, el cielo está lleno de la tabla de madera, el sofá blando de color azul está desplomado, y el mar de la tabla de libros se separa de los rincones de la cálida recreación. Los muros, la construcción de madera y los libros están construindo un enorme espacio de aire humano, donde las montañas están aisladas de la secularidad y sólo las palabras crecen libremente. Se rompe el barril comercial de las librerías urbanas, se ha visto barrera a las selvas y se ha construido un hábitat espiritual delicado. We had an amazing stay at Naked Stables Resort. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. Our room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and every detail made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Joan, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made us feel truly welcome, and she played a big part in making our experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. Overall, our stay was a bit disappointing, especially given the high reviews, which had set our expectations quite high. Although the hotel is relatively new, it lacks proper maintenance. The swimming pool and sunbathing area were not very clean. There was mold building up in the shower, and the rug in the room looked old and dirty. Additionally, there were no doors separating the bathroom and toilet areas, which was inconvenient. Sound insulation was poor — we could hear people talking in nearby rooms and common areas quite clearly. The hotel's location is right next to a busy road, which was not apparent from the photos. Contrary to the hotel description, there was no bamboo forest nearby, so our plan to escape the city for a peaceful countryside retreat didn’t work out as we had hoped. On a positive note, the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Some fruit and tea were provided free of charge, and the homemade Chinese-style breakfast was decent. The hotel is also within walking distance to the town center and several restaurants, which was convenient.

La casa de madera tiene un gran ambiente. Es muy cómoda para toda la familia. El autobús responde muy rápido. El desayuno sabe bien. Xiao Luo y Xiao Li en la recepción estaban muy entusiasmados y me dieron un pequeño regalo.

Moshangyin hotel is a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway in Moganshan. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, perfect for resting, slowing down, and enjoying nature away from busy city life. The interior design is beautifully done, creating a warm and comfortable environment from the moment you arrive. The room was excellent, very cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful mountain view that makes the whole experience even more special. One of the highlights is the tea room, which is thoughtfully designed for tea preparation and relaxation. The decoration combines traditional and modern elements in a very tasteful way, with beautiful details, instruments, and carefully selected design pieces. The entire space feels artistic and calming. The property is surrounded by abundant greenery and plants everywhere, especially outdoors, which makes the environment feel fresh and natural. Sitting there and looking out toward the bamboo forests is incredibly peaceful and contemplative. Whether the weather is sunny or cloudy, the atmosphere remains equally pleasant and charming. Another lovely detail is the nearby stream—you can hear the gentle sound of flowing water, which adds even more tranquility to the stay. The staff are very kind, welcoming, and attentive, making guests feel comfortable, almost as if they are in their own natural home environment. The guests staying there are also respectful and pleasant, contributing to the calm atmosphere. Transportation is also very convenient, with taxis arriving quickly and reliably. There is a nearby village called Yucun that is lovely to visit, and many scenic areas around the hotel are easily accessible as well. Overall, this is an ideal place for anyone looking for peace, beautiful design, nature, and a truly relaxing experience in Moganshan.
