OMG! We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, and had few to no issues. This place is a disaster, now! We walk into the room, and there is food all over the floor hangers from previous occupents hanging in the shower. My wife goes downstairs and talks to the front desk. The person is like all send someone up. So, my wife comes back and we decide we'll go to the pool and lock up our valuables in case housekeeping finally comes up and cleans. The safe is locked and no combo on anything. We try combos. I call downstairs, but the phone cord is ripped out of the phone. I dig behind the bed and push the cord back in, and hold it in as the cord is broke off. The guy says I have no idea about the safe maybe it's on the outside of the safe. I hang up and check. Nope. I walk downstairs, and tell him it's not on the safe or anywhere in the room. He's like we'll I don't know, acting like he hopes I'll just give up and go away. I say you got a manager? He replies no, but I'll ask housekeeping if they know about it. Eventually a housekeeper walks up while he's gone. He comes back and says he was trying to call her. She has no clue about the safe. He says maybe the director knows, let me see if I can find him. She says it's not her room but she'll come clean it. I walk up with her, and we meet up with director at the elevator. She asks him about the safe. He has no clue. He comes up tries combos like we did. Nothing works. He leaves and gets tools to take it apart while the housekeeper cleans. He comes back starts unbolting the safe. Eventually he gets in and resets it to 1234, and says the combo is 1234! We paid for a double room. We notice there is no longer a door between the two rooms. We ask the director about he of course says I don't know what happened to it. As I found out no manager, so we call corporate. After an hour on the phone with the them the best they can do is a $40 gift card for a future stay. Also come to find out they knew the door was missing for weeks, and did, nor told us before booking!
