I was sceptical when I saw the hotel nestled between the row of 3/4-star beach front hotels but I must say the reception service put my worry to rest. The facilities have likely been recently renovated and the linens clean and fresh! Even the toiletries provided were not awful, if U ran out of your own. The spa and massage were simply wonderful that my HB and I had massage three days in a row (best in individual room)! They also threw in one free noodle and daily high tea. I would highly recommend anyone who is budget conscious yet want to stay in “comfort”. The spread of the hotel breakfast was also wide and decent.

Das Boutique Hoi An Hotel ist ein wunderschönes Hotel mit einem traumhaften, sehr gepflegten Tropengarten und kolonialem Charme. Der Pool ist schön designt, groß und sowohl für Schwimmer wie Badende geeignet. Auch der Strand ist schön. Kilometerlang und für asiatische Verhältnisse recht sauber. Das Spa-Center, das die Managerin Mai perfekt im Griff hat, ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück fällt etwas ab, was uns aber nicht störte, da wir keinen Wert auf Frühstücken legen. Absolut störend war das Verhalten des Empfangsmanagers bei unserer Ankunft. Auf inakzeptabel penetrante Art und Weise hat er versucht, uns Massschneider, Konzertveranstaltungen, Ausflüge oder anderweitig kommissionierte Dienste aufzudrängen. It was my second visit here. Service was great as always. Staff very helpful, i saw a poor little girl hauling up 30kg large suitcases for some big size African people. What a shame but anyway. The last time i booked some deluxe room they have on the upper floor, that was so lovely but seeing that there is no lift, i opted this time to try for a room on the ground floor which in this case was significantly smaller and had a strange musty odor when i opened the door for the first time. It reminds me of soggy wood rotting somewhere. I opened the window to try to get rid of the smell but it didn’t work. in the middle of the night the smell became so strong and it was that signature rotten egg sewage gas smell. To be fair i can’t exactly pinpoint where it came from but it was definitely from within the room. There were also drain flies in the shower and a few of them came up when i opened the shower water flow. I later discovered one lurking by the night gown. Hope y’all dont get assigned this room .

Mi habitación estaba en el tercer piso, en la planta de servicio. Pedí una habitación más alta para evitar el ruido. Me la cambiaron sin cargo adicional. La cama de la primera noche era muy cómoda y limpia. Pero la cama del piso superior no era tan cómoda, aunque estaba limpia. El hotel necesita reformas. El personal es amable.
