It was absolutely amazing experience. We came from Japan & came to highland area to escape the city busyness. We are astonished about this hidden gem. As we came in we were welcomed with fantastic passion fruit juice. We came after dark & only requested simple white rice & fried vegetable but the chef and her staff made an amazing dinner with simple vegetable & rice. I realized how food prepared with heart can heal our soul. I was kept thinking if people in the world could eat this kind of food with real soul in it, could heal the whole world!! It is so amazing to be surrounded by beautiful trees &sounds of animals. I will definitely come back again. O

Beautiful place, great location, and excellent service - one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka!

Me alojé en la habitación 234. Empecemos por lo malo. La alcachofa de la ducha no funcionaba. Hay que tener mucho cuidado al usarla, ya que el agua podría causar quemaduras de tercer grado y el suelo estaba muy resbaladizo. Ahora lo regular. Personalmente, me pareció que el menú de la cena era un poco limitado y la calidad de la comida dejaba mucho que desear. Ahora lo bueno. Habitación y baño muy espaciosos. Sábanas y toallas de buena calidad. Cama cómoda y buen aire acondicionado. El personal muy amable, atento y servicial. Volvería a alojarme aquí, pero deberían arreglar la ducha, ya que es peligrosa.

¡Hotel resort muy recomendado! Siempre había reservado hoteles antes, pero accidentalmente reservé este. Cuando me registré, vi las villas unifamiliares e inmediatamente decidí extender mi estadía por una noche. La habitación es grande y cuenta con completas instalaciones, por lo que es adecuada para viajes familiares. Los árboles del hotel son espesos y densos, todos primitivos y de crecimiento natural. Mariposas tan grandes como pájaros pequeños revolotean, los pájaros cantan y las cigarras cantan melodiosamente... Vivir aquí te da la sensación de estar lejos del bullicio. Es genial nadar por la tarde y tumbarte en la hamaca. Por la noche, todavía se puede ver. El cielo está lleno de estrellas y realmente se siente como volver a la infancia. El jefe es chino y muy atento cuando vio que nuestro acompañante tenía gastroenteritis, nos preparó especialmente una olla de papilla blanca. Las señoras de la recepción también son muy lindas y entusiastas. Brindan de manera proactiva varios servicios todos los días. También es muy conveniente ir a las cercanas Lion Rock y Dambulla Grottoes.

Un servicio de hotel muy tranquilo también puede cenar con antelación. Su hora de la cena es diferente a la nuestra. De lo contrario, solo pueden esperar hasta la noche para comerse su ruiseñor. El posicionamiento no está permitido. Buscando desde hace mucho tiempo!

This is a nice hotel in a great location in terms of seeing the key sights in the area we wanted to visit (walking distance to Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks, and a short tuk tuk ride to a night loris walk). It is on a main road so there is a bit of noise from that if you have a room at the front of the hotel like we did - especially some loud music playing early in the morning. I recommend asking for a room as far away from the road as available. The room was more basic than I expected for the price but importantly it was big and clean. I think you are paying the price for a proper hotel in this location. The hotel pool is big and very clean, it is perfect for a dip to cool down - and very scenic, surrounded by lovely trees. We were a bit disappointed with the hotel restaurant menu which has nearly no vegetarian options on it, and similarly the breakfast buffet wasn’t worth it for us to purchase, but there are lots of other restaurants walking distance from the hotel to go to. The staff were helpful especially in putting us in touch with the loris night tour.

Aunque nuestra estancia fue corta, fue bastante agradable gracias a la amabilidad del personal, especialmente del Sr. Ruchira, que nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos desde el primer momento. El alojamiento estaba limpio y cómodo y la ubicación era excelente. Quedamos impresionados con el cuidado y la atención al detalle, haciendo que la experiencia sea muy positiva. ¡Definitivamente regresaremos!

This hotel has good facilities, like good pool bar, restaurant with a tropical resort feeling. We have room with 2 king beds and it is good enough width for 2 adults and 2 kids. and also keeping sanitary. Staff gave the good hospitality and providing good services in restaurant. Just one concerning is VISA card cannot work well in Dambulla area.
