"I recently stayed at Ayugiri Wellness Resort in Sigiriya and I truly had a wonderful experience. From the day I arrived, I felt calm and relaxed. The resort is surrounded by nature, trees and fresh air. It is very quiet and peaceful, which makes it perfect for anyone who wants to take a break from busy life. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They always smiled and spoke politely. If I needed anything, they were happy to help. Their friendly service made my stay even more comfortable. Yoga Experience The yoga sessions were my favorite part of the stay. The yoga area is open and beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Doing yoga while hearing birds and feeling the natural breeze was very special. The instructors were patient and clear when explaining the poses. They helped everyone according to their level, so even beginners can feel comfortable. After each session, I felt relaxed, fresh, and peaceful in my mind. Room My villa was very clean and spacious. The design was simple but elegant. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. I loved waking up and seeing the green views outside. It felt very private and calm. Food and Restaurant The restaurant experience was also very good. The dining area is peaceful and nicely arranged. Eating in such a quiet and natural environment made every meal enjoyable. The food was fresh and healthy. You can feel that the ingredients are good quality and carefully chosen. Breakfast had fresh fruits, herbal drinks, and light but filling dishes. Lunch and dinner had healthy meals with nice flavors. The Sri Lankan dishes were especially tasty, but still not too heavy. I also enjoyed the drinks very much. The fresh juices and herbal teas were refreshing and perfect for the wellness atmosphere. Everything felt clean, natural, and good for the body. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to suggest something or explain the menu. Treatments I tried the Ayurvedic treatments and they were very relaxing. The therapists were professional and made sure I was comfortable. After the treatment, I felt lighter and less stressed. “””””””””””” Ayugiri is not just a hotel, it is a place where you can truly relax and feel better♥️. "First, this hotel is in a very remote location, with nothing nearby, making it difficult to get around. Secondly, the hotel's design clearly shows a lot of effort, but it's not well maintained. We were moved four rooms in one day. Within 10 minutes of checking in, they told us there was a plumbing problem. After a long wait, they moved us to a different room type. After checking in, we still had no water. In the third room, large bugs kept dropping onto the bed and onto our bodies throughout the night, which was terrifying. We finally got our final room cleaned and changed after 10 PM. We finally got some sleep, but the next morning, the stationary hair dryer was broken again! We had our laundry done, and they told us we didn't need to iron it, only wash it. But when we checked out, they still charged us for the ironing! Luckily, my husband had texted them about our request via What's Up, and they were able to get rid of the extra charge. This completely delayed our plans for the better part of a day!"

The room was massive and we had 2 interconnected rooms that were very clean and well maintained. The food was incredible and well worth paying for half board. My kids asked if we could stay forever! "We stayed for two nights in a two bedroom villa with private pool. The house and pool were really nice as is the property. The living room is not air conditioned and so you can’t really use it until after sundown as it is super hot, even with the fan on. The pool is small and lovely - a great reprieve for kids between activities. The two bedrooms are nice and the house embedded in nature, feeling incredibly secluded and private. The food was really good, fresh seafood, great prices and easy/casual with kids. My only comment is that the prices are high compared to similar experiences and amenities we had in other places. That said everything was lovely!!"

"Fue una de las mejores decisiones que tomamos alojarnos en este hotel durante nuestro viaje de dos semanas por Sri Lanka. La vista de la piscina desde el entorno natural es impresionante. "I really don't recommend this hotel at all. At first glance the environment seems nice, but once you get on the bed, it's so rustling. I changed to another bed and it was still the same. There was sand on the beds in every room and they couldn't be cleaned even after shaking. The problem is that there is no sea here, and the locals like to walk barefoot. The locals don't use quilts, but the blankets they sent looked like they hadn't been washed for hundreds of years. Breakfast is also quite local"

As we came in we were welcomed with fantastic passion fruit juice. We came after dark & only requested simple white rice & fried vegetable but the chef and her staff made an amazing dinner with simple vegetable & rice. I realized how food prepared with heart can heal our soul. I was kept thinking if people in the world could eat this kind of food with real soul in it, could heal the whole world!! Cuando fuimos a pagar las bebidas de las cenas, las cuales no tienen una carta de precios y una copa de vino puede costarte 6€, nos presentaron dos facturas para revisar, pero no te las dan en mano. Si las coges puedes encontrarte con una tercera en la que te repiten una de las facturas. Para que estés entretenido y no prestes atención te dan encuestas y QRs para rellenar. Otra cosa importante es que no hacen la habitación de un día para otro. Y los camareros pueden ser bastante insistentes con tal de obtener alguna propina."

"We stayed here as a family of 4. Located just inside Minneriya National park, this is a small hotel run by friendly staff. The rooms were spacious with large balconies overlooking the landscape. The food was very good (loved both the Chinese style noodles and the Sri Lankan food) and the staff were helpful in arranging a jeep safari. The hotel employed a naturalist Sangeeth, during our time there, who arranged night walks and morning bird watching and was a guide on our safari. Sangeeth had excellent knowledge of the natural environment and generously shared his enthusiasm, and this contributed a lot to the enjoyment of our stay. Loved seeing the green vine snake!"
