A Truly Memorable Stay at Changbai Mountain Guanyue Folk Custom Hotel 🏨 I traveled all the way from Thailand, and my experience at Changbai Mountain—specifically at the Changbai Mountain Guanyue Folk Custom Hotel—was absolutely unforgettable. Exceptional Service from the Start From the moment I made my reservation, a staff member named Annie provided incredible hospitality. She was enthusiastic and proactive, offering detailed advice on local attractions and how to navigate Changbai Mountain. The seamless service began the moment I arrived at the train station. The hotel provided a pickup service, and the staff greeted me warmly before escorting me directly to the hotel. Personalized Care and Communication Upon arrival, Annie was there to welcome me. She gave me expert advice on how to visit the national park and remained available to assist me throughout my entire stay. If you are worried about the language barrier, don't be! We communicated easily via WeChat and translation apps. She truly looked after me until the very moment I boarded the shuttle back to the train station. Excellence in Every Detail In terms of cleanliness, service, and food, I give this hotel a perfect score of 1,000,000/1,000,000. Everything was flawless.

I had a wonderful stay at Linxi mountain residential quarters. The highlight was definitely the cleanliness—the housekeeping staff did an amazing job, and the room was spotless throughout my stay. They also provide a delicious free breakfast. Although it’s a bit of a distance to the entrance/up the path, the quality of service makes it totally worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the North Scenic Area.

La villa era hermosa y cómoda. El desayuno fue delicioso cada mañana y el personal del hotel nos condujo donde necesitamos ir todos los días. Fuimos afortunados y tuvimos una vista muy clara del lago en la montaña de Changbai. Me alegro de que elijamos quedarse en este hotel. Mis hijos amaban el espacio abierto, los gatos y el calor. Gracias de nuevo por su amableza y atención a los detalles. Esperamos estar de vuelta en otoño.

Hotel is very nice & clean. There are hot springs indoor & outdoor pool. Every staff is very nice and helping us a lot. They can’t speak English but they use WeChat to talk to us and help us everything since we booking like booking the bus or send us how to go to railway or How to find the bus. They also help order the food, booking scenic spots tickets, write the sign to help us to get back to hotel went we go out. If we have a chance, we will absolutely come back here.

There was a bit of hiccup at check-in, and my guess is language barrier might have contributed to it, but eventually it was sorted out, as the booking was already paid via Trip.com. The hotel is not far from the town of Erdaobaihe and Changbaishan high speed railway station, but it's definitely NOT within a walking distance. Taxi or personal driving would have to be arranged. The hotel is big and the lobby is so vast and spacious, but it may be the timing of my visit that is rather empty and quiet. The room is so spacious. I especially love the bed topper; it's so comfortable. Despite the language barrier, the service is wonderful. Although I was a solo guest, they provided a full Chinese breakfast, and it has the best beef dish in China! They have a service that will take you to Changbaishan Visitor Center, north slope entrance, and you may return by taxi. Overall, despite a minor setback in the beginning, I'm impressed!

This hotel have spacious service apartments, rooms are big, clean, hotel staff is always helpful. 10 min car ride from chang bai shan railway station. Issues I faced : there is a huge taxi shortage in the city during the peak tourist season, one days even i had to walk 3.3 kilometres in - 15 degrees temperatures to reach to downtown , DIDI and T3 service works here but taxi waiting is normally 40 min to 1 hour long. As a forigner the Hotel location was little odd for me and lots of precious time wasted in taxi waiting, breakfast location is 300 metres far from room, which was not convenient as me and family didn't want to walk in - 20 degree temperature to eat breakfast, I stayed 5 days, but only 2 days I dare to go for breakfast. For stay this place is so good, so clean, warm. Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.

Hotel staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Hotel was empty when we (family of 4) arrived. We were not aware of an on-going fire drill and because of on-going construction, we mistakenly thought the hotel was closed. Hotel staff appeared as we were about to leave to make other arrangements. The hotel manager provided us with a translator and profusely apologized for the miscommunication . Rooms were exceptionally clean and breakfast exceptionally good. Location was ideal...close to the hi-speed railway station and downtown. We give this hotel and staff 5 out of 5 stars.

The hotel features a fairly large hot spring area. Although the outdoor section was closed for maintenance during my stay, the staff there were excellent—very professional and thorough in explaining how to use the facilities. The location is convenient, just 10 minutes from the high-speed rail station. They offer a pickup service, but be aware there is no drop-off service; you'll need to arrange your own taxi for the return. On the plus side, there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores located right behind the hotel. As for the room, it felt a bit dated. I booked a 'Mountain View' room, but it only faced a nearby building. When I checked with the staff, they told me no rooms with mountain views. Also, the corridors were quite dark during the day as the lights were off. Communicating with the reception was also a bit challenging for a non-Chinese speaker.
