Amazing experience in this ryokan! Felt very warmly welcomed by the owner who would come out to send us off or receive us when we entered or exited. Also received a welcome cake from him! Rooms were comfortable and the private onsen experience was really luxurious. Easy drive out to see the attractions we wanted to in Hakone.

El hostal estaba bastante limpio, las camas eran espaciosas y todas las habitaciones impecables. La recepcionista fue muy amable; charlamos durante varios días e incluso me ayudó a planificar mi itinerario. Hasta me despidió con los buenos días cuando me vio todavía en la cocina anoche. ¡Una experiencia estupenda! 👍

Reservé este albergue onsen en el último minuto porque necesitaba una habitación con baño. No probé su onsen, pero el baño estaba bien, aunque no hay muchas comodidades. Ofrecen servicio de lavandería, sobre el que puedes preguntar. Hay una sala de estar disponible, aunque no la usé durante mi estadía. Puedes tomar un autobús para llegar allí, pero aún así hay que caminar un poco y está en una pendiente pronunciada. Cerca, solo hay una tienda de conveniencia, que no está abierta las 24 horas. En general, ¡lo recomendaría para una estadía corta!

The Room is clean, the location is a bit difficult to get to it especially we arrived there late night. The heater is not function well even though we already asked for help, we feel cool at the mid night, but the service is good. It a quite and peaceful place, if the heater function well then I think is perfect

El hotel construido a mitad de la montaña es de madera y es muy tranquilo. Hay aguas termales y el aire es muy bueno. También hay varias tabernas cercanas. Las habitaciones son de tatami y el baño y el baño son grandes. Están en el pasillo y son compartidos. El hotel sigue siendo muy cómodo. Lo más destacable es que el desayuno es especialmente bueno. Te lo preparan con antelación según la habitación. El trato es bueno. ¡Muy recomendable!

A nice cozy home right near the main train station. Easy access to transportation and right in the heart of the town. The house had many beds to choose from and good separation of rooms. A stocked kitchen and laundry machine was a bonus. The only slight bother was that the space in front of the toilet was very narrow and it was slightly uncomfortable to be on the toilet. Also there are cockroaches that come in at night, but this is fairly normal in Japan. The walk up to the house consists of many stairs and is not suitable for persons with handicaps/mobility issues.

Nestled in a peaceful corner of Mt. Hakone, yet conveniently connected by bus, only a 5-10 mins walk. This charming little hotel offered an unforgettable immersion into Japanese culture, complete with tatami-matted floor, soft futon bedding and soothing onsen. With it's effortless check in and out, it's perfect for travelers seeking tranquility and authenticity without sacrificing to much convenience. Pros: If you plan to visit the Hakone pirate ship and the Hakone ropeway at Togendai, it will give you an early start because it's only 11 minutes by bus. Con: To get to the hotel you will need to go up a little hill, not too hard, but if you have a lot of luggage it could be a bit of a challenge (But it's an easy walk back to the bus stop) Be mindful of the bus time getting to the hotel as the bus tends to end around 5:00 p.m. Also, there aren't any places to eat near the hotel, so you may need to take food with you, order breakfast with the hotel or buy some snacks and instant noodles from the hotel shop.

Good location for a view of Mount Fuji, unfortunately it was cloudy during our visit and the mountain hid away. Lots of good walks, extremely quiet and self catering is a must. 🙏
