I don’t usually write reviews but our experience with Capella Taipei was excellent. Customer service was top notch and our kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thanks Capella team!

This was my first stay at Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei with friends, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel features an elegant Japanese-inspired design, creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere. The room was spacious, spotless, and well maintained, while the bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, making both check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. The hotel facilities were well equipped and kept in excellent condition. The public areas were clean, bright, and inviting. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, including both Japanese and ********* dishes, all of high quality and freshly prepared. The location is also very convenient, within walking distance of Nanjing Fuxing MRT Station, making it easy to explore Taipei or travel for business. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service, facilities, and comfort. It was a truly enjoyable stay, and I would gladly choose this hotel again on my next visit to Taipei. I highly recommend it to both leisure and business travelers.

Excelente ubicación si vas a una feria comercial, está justo al lado, a unos 3 minutos a pie. El recién inaugurado Lalaport también está justo enfrente. Habitación enorme, cama y bañera. El desayuno era abundante y de buena calidad. Volveré si asisto a una feria comercial.

En general, una estancia muy agradable en una habitación del Horizon Club. El servicio en el salón del Horizon Club, en particular, fue excelente en todo momento: Joyce, Beatrice y Anita, las encantadoras chicas que se aseguraron de que cada visita al salón fuera un placer. Los desayunos, el té de la tarde y las horas felices de cortesía en el Horizon Club le dieron un valor añadido a la estancia. ¡Excelentes vistas del Taipei 101 desde la habitación! (Imagen adjunta).

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. I recently stayed at Taipei Marriott Hotel and overall had a good experience. The staff were professional, polite, and generally helpful whenever I needed assistance. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a pleasant space to relax. In terms of dining, however, I found that the on-site restaurant options were somewhat limited, especially for longer stays. It would be great to have a wider variety of choices for both local and international cuisine. The hotel’s location is decent, with access to transportation that is acceptable but not exceptionally convenient. It may take a bit of time to reach the main tourist spots or central areas. Facilities such as the lobby and common areas are modern and well-presented. Overall, I would rate this hotel 4 stars and consider staying again, but mainly if I do not rely too much on in-hotel dining.

Esta es mi primera estancia en Beijing y me disfruté de mi estancia de 3 noches aquí. En primer lugar, la ubicación es excelente, justo a lo largo de la carretera de una estación MTR, es fácil ir a cualquier lugar. La habitación es enorme y bien diseñada. La cama y las pijamas son muy cómodas. El sabor del refresco del aire en la habitación es muy agradable. Hay un pequeño balcón que puedes ir a. El espectáculo de la habitación es el baño con el gran bañera que puede acomodar más de 2 ppl sin problemas. Amo el 温water. Amo el desayuno. No necesitas mucho comida ... sólo buena comida, no tienes que ser abundante. Amo el público en el piso 12. Regresaré aquí otra vez.

El servicio fue pésimo. Reservé este hotel con dos comidas. Para la cena, nos dijeron que no podíamos pedir el menú caro, así que pedimos según lo recomendado. Las ostras no estaban muy frescas y la sopa estaba muy licuada y sin sabor. No disfrutamos mucho de la comida, y al terminar, nos dieron la cuenta con un cargo adicional. Le pregunté a la señora a qué se debía ese cargo adicional, y al principio ni siquiera supo qué era lo que pasaba. Luego llamó a otra señora mayor, quien regresó y nos explicó: ”Este menú que pediste no estaba incluido en tu plan de comidas. Pero no importa, es culpa nuestra, no te cobraremos. Aceptaremos los cargos adicionales”. Sentí que no nos estaban dando algo ni prestando servicios con generosidad. Fue muy incómodo. Y el chico que trabaja en el spa del segundo piso fue muy grosero. ¿Cheng? ¿Chen? Fue muy grosero y nada agradable. Además, para el spa exterior (¿piscina?), sé que muchos otros hoteles permiten usar gorro de ducha, pero me dijeron que comprara uno de natación. Eran tan estrictos que, aunque llevábamos traje de baño, no pudimos usar el spa exterior (¿piscina?). Pagué casi 600 $ y este hotel no merece tanto. No lo recomiendo jamás.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Grand Hyatt Taipei Perfect location next to Taipei 101. The service was outstanding – warm, professional, and attentive. The Japanese restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding with a great variety and high quality. Spacious, quiet rooms and very comfortable beds. Highly recommended – we would definitely return.

Sweetme Hotspring Resort is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station and conveniently close to many restaurants. One of the highlights of the stay was the spa experience. Guests can enjoy both the private in-room hot spring and the public spa facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Breakfast was another strong point, with a good selection of food to start the day right. Overall, Sweetme Hotspring Resort delivers a well-rounded experience with great amenities, a prime location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.
