We enjoyed 5 great nights at the Hotel Bellavista, which is centrally located within easy walking distance from the ferries. The front desk staff were incredibly helping, as we were hiking in the area and need advice on transportation. We loved the terrace in the afternoons, watching the ferries and partaking in the best aperaol spritzes in Menaggio! The bar staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely hardworking. Everyone at the hotel was very professional and accommodating. Our room overlooking the lake, was large and well adorned. Hotel Bellavista is a gem in the lovely town of Menaggio!!

Hotel muy bien ubicado, frente al muelle, con vista al lago. En pleno centro pero muy calmo. Estilo señorial, con techos altos, escaleras de mármol. Desayuno muy bueno y completo. Atención muy amable, Stefania fue una gran ayuda con sus indicaciones sobre lugares para comer, etc. El hotel tiene pileta que se habilita en verano. No es un hotel lujoso, pero sí es muy lindo y con habitaciones ampliad y confortables. Me parece que tiene muy buena relación precio/calidad pensando en la ciudad donde se encuentra. Recordar que si vas en auto, debes informar la patente/placa al hotel, ya que está en una zona de acceso limitado (para no tener multas posteriores).

En el lado positivo, el Hotel Bazzoni tiene una ubicación maravillosa, una muy buena vista desde los balcones de las habitaciones sobre el lago de Como y un jardín en terrazas que sube la colina con varias piscinas y bares. Incluía desayuno y una cena buffet que estaba bien. El bar de la planta baja también es impresionante. En el lado negativo, faltan muchas cosas sobre el hotel. Cuando llegamos, nos dijeron que estaba completo y que nuestra reserva había sido transferida al hotel hermano Britannia (y mucho más barato) al final de la calle. Nos llevaron a verlo, pero la habitación estaba húmeda y desagradable, después de una dura discusión acordaron reinstalarnos en Bazzoni. También nos persiguieron el último día para hacer el check out puntualmente: nuestra reserva en Trip.com era para el check out a las 11 a.m. pero recibimos una llamada a las 10.30 diciéndonos que esto se había adelantado a las 10 a.m. y que necesitábamos hacer el check out puntualmente como lo habían hecho * ** y llegadas ese día. La habitación también carecía de agua, cafetera / tetera y zapatillas, y todo lo adicional es de pago, incluidos 5 EUR por una tarjeta adicional (no reembolsable ...) y 2 EUR por una jarra de agua para la cena. A fin de cuentas, evitaría este hotel en el futuro, pero si lo elige, prepárese para defender lo que ya pagó.

La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable. El hotel está situado en el centro de Bellagio, donde se encuentran los hoteles de Bellagio. Con la habitación, vista y servicio que tenemos, es seguro decir que tiene el mayor valor por dinero de todos mis 9-day estancia en Italia.

Una noche nos fuimos a cenar en Bellagio y notamos que el último ferry que volvió al hotel estaba justo antes de las 8:00, muy temprano. Nos preguntamos cómo volver al hotel después de nuestra comida y el recepcionista nos informó que podíamos llevar el ferry a una ciudad vecina (2 millas) y llamar al hotel cuando estuvimos en camino y que arreglarían un taxi, un plan perfecto si El hotel responde al teléfono. You'll be glad you did.

Stayed here on a recent motorcycle trip. As we were travelling on motorbikes we make a point of contacting the hotels in advance to check that the restaurant on site will be open. We had a confirmation email advising that the restaurant would be open. On check in we were advised that the bar and restaurant was closed, however there is a bar opposite and a good restaurant a short walk down the road. The hotel is easy to find on a main road and we were able to park our motorcycles in the underground garage. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The advice about the restaurant down the road was very good and the we had great meal there. However on our return to the hotel we were asked to pay our bill as the manager/owner wanted a lay in the next morning. This meant we had to drag our fellow travellers out of bed to pay as they had returned to the hotel ahead of us. The next morning, all of the other guests were settling their bills as they checked out.

The room I occupied as a single with view of the lake was great. My remarks concern the poor quality of lunch and dinner. The risotto was bland and tasteless despite spoonfuls of parmesan cheese. It would have been easy to add some spices and pepper. The salad with its dressing of olive oil and vinegar from a sachet was not good. At dinner I had fish & soft chips, no cooked vegetables are available, only a salad. The potatoe chips should have been fried longer to make them crispy. Make melanzane parmigiani. The red wine offered gave me a stomache ache. By all means, stay, but eat elsewhere.
