The team here are so lovely and friendly! I was only staying for one night in Leatherhead for work and they really made so much effort to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I had a couple of presentations in the evening that I admitted to Joanna on reception I was quite nervous about and she wished me the best of luck and even checked in on how they went the next morning when I went down for breakfast. Her colleague Petia was also lovely and super helpful. I think it’s these small interactions that can make all the difference and I was impressed.

Mí viaje fue en el 2019, pero por alguna razón escribo esto ahora, el personal muy amable, buena relación calidad - precio, el desayuno muy bueno y completo, a 10 calles de la estación de East croydon. Sin dudas si no te molesta alojarte en los suburbios es una buena opción.

Stayed here with family while visiting Chessington theme park. The hotel is located in nice quite part with beautiful views. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. Staff recognised my membership status and explained all benefits. The room had few stains but overall was comfortable. Note the place has no restaurant or anything at walking distance but few local places offer delivery. Breakfast was unfortunately a bit letdown for us 2 days in a row as the hash browns were cold and croissants not warm! Being vegetarian that were the options I went for as didn’t have much choice. Thankfully good coffee machine so had lovely cappuccino. I will however stay again more for the great staff and the location of the hotel.

El hotel está en muy buenas condiciones, con una calidad/precio estupendo. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, silenciosas y agradables. Tiene una fácil comunicación con el centro de Londres, bien por autobús o bien por tren. En la misma calle del hotel hay muchos comercios, por lo que puedes comprar cualquier cosa que se te haya olvidado llevar contigo. También destacar que aunque aparezca que está muy alejado del centro, es una zona muy tranquila y segura. Todos los trabajadores eran muy atentos con nosotros, tanto en recepción como en el restaurante. Recomiendo 100% hosped**** en este hotel.

We booked to stay at the Talbot as we were attending a function there. We appreciated the building is listed so as expected it's a little tired looking. The room we stayed in no.214, unfortunately smelt of drains so rather unpleasant. The hotel was fully booked so there was no chance of changing rooms. The safe was locked shut when we arrived, something I would have thought the staff getting the rooms ready would have had on their check list to ensure all was ok. It was just a little inconvenient to have to go & find a member of staff with a master key to rectify. The evening of the function we had attended we intended on having a light meal of pizza in the bar but were told they weren't taking any more orders due to staffing numbers so we were really disappointed as we'd had a few drinks so couldn't drive elsewhere. Breakfast was OK although pricy if it hadn't been included in the room rate. Also items mentioned on the breakfast menu weren't available which was disappointing eg French toast which is something quite basic! Probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Arrived early to be informed no problem with checking in early & that we were guests of the day so Lara informed us & we were upgraded to luxury room which was very nice over looking the sirport & terminal and mini bar was free as well as use of the club mellisme lounge which had snacks & drinks all day & free wines beers fizz ect ater 6 in evening including canapes & to top it all free breakfast down in the restraunt, what a wonderfull start to our holiday. We always try to book the Sofital whilst transiting through Gatwick . Thank you so much had a wonderful stay & the young man serving in the club lounge who was very sweet and had a lovely chat about working in the club and in and around GTW. Es bastante bueno para un hotel exprés nacional: la habitación está limpia y es lo suficientemente grande para una docena de metros cuadrados. El desayuno era bueno y el personal de servicio era amable y simpático. La ubicación no está en el centro de Londres, pero sí relativamente cerca de la estación de metro. Personalmente creo que si vas por diversión es mejor vivir en el centro de la ciudad. El hotel muestra las fotos tal y como aparecen en las fotografías, que son reales.
