El hotel está muy bien situado, con acceso directo a Praia de Rocha pero definitivamente ya no es un 5 estrellas... Más como un 4 estrellas. El primer día nos hicieron esperar 1 hora y media (hasta las 15.30...) para dejarnos entrar a la habitación, pero el cobro de toda la estancia se realizó por adelantado a las 14.00 sin falta. Las habitaciones son amplias y la cama es king size y muy cómoda, pero están ya algo anticuadas. Especialmente el baño... El personal es amable. En las áreas comunes no hay aire acondicionado, que hace dura el llevar la mascarilla... El parking está en un parking en un edificio antiguo a 200 metros del hotel, y en agosto costaba encontrar un espacio libre... En general tuvimos una buena estancia, pero la relación calidad precio del hotel es bastante pobre.

For 2 nights and 3 days these apar**ents were taken over by Spanish university students who wanted to party like it was Ibiza. When 3 of the 7 coaches that brought them on Friday, a guest asked what was going on to be told not to worry as this was an annual event and they had so many activities booked they would not notice them around. Their activities when they returned after their days out were what you might expect from a university halls of residence and it was clear on Saturday night that the one security guard was not enough to deal with the incidents being reported. Did I want the equivalent of an Ibiza (or as they were Spanish a Benidorm or Magaluf) experience and was I told about this when I booked? No, I was not. Was I told that most of the building I was in would be used for this purpose when I booked? No I was not. Having complained both to the hotel on Saturday after one of the two sleepless nights we had, and our tour rep on Sunday ( I tried a number of times to contact them on Saturday with no reply) and anapology was forthcoming on Sunday but this does not make up for the three nights ( we were so tired on Sunday we went to bed rather than out) and two days of holiday list? No, it does not. On Sunday we were told that this large group had used their booking tool, booking in small groups and that is how they had managed to book as such a large group( that being thee case their booking tool must have gone into.meltdown! 7 coaches x 69 /5 max per room equals....). They have a policy of no hen or stag parties here. What is the difference between these and the university students partying here, in my experience none. We were having a good holiday here before this, which has put a massive damper on it. So given that one guest was told this occurrence is once a year by staff here, and irrespective of how this university booked, my advice would be to avoid booking this time of year, unless of course you like the party scene and what it brings with it.

Por el precio, era decente, las camas eran un poco incómodas pero soportables, el asiento del inodoro tenía marcas, la ducha seguía llenando la bañera, lo que hacía que la ducha fuera un poco desagradable y la iluminación en la habitación era un poco más tenue de lo que me gustaría. Aparte de eso, personal amable y acogedor, buena ubicación.

Apartamento moderno y limpio con todo lo necesario para una estancia confortable. Tuvimos limpieza diaria del departamento ”cambio de toallas de baño, limpieza de mostradores, pisos y recolección de basura. Algunos aspectos que podrían mejorar, No tiene varita mágica, tostadora, esponjas ni líquido para lavar platos.

Habemos vuelto por tercera vez este año , el año anterior varias veces ya que nos gustan mucho estos apartamentos, tienen una muy buena situación, están bien decorados son muy agradables, algo escasos en menaje de cocina pero se puede cocinar sin problemas. La primera vez pedimos tal como dice en su información un piso alto y si nos lo dieron sin problema. Despues ya no había y han sido 5 reservas, la última acabamos de volver dos días antes, nos dieron un apartamento en planta baja habiendo pedido alta, ya sabemos que es bajo disponibilidad pero el hotel no está lleno se ve perfectamente y en esa planta no había nadie solo nosotros. Sin balcón algo que siempre pedimos y con mucho polvo en los armarios y los estantes del baño, lo dijimos en recepción, mi marido es alérgico y no podía respirar allí, algo que la recepcionista pudo comprobar, la tercera noche habemos decidido irnos, la recepcionista no nos ha dejado decir por qué nos íbamos antes solo decía ok y que estaba hablando por teléfono. Nos quedamos esperando para decirle porque nos íbamos y fue bastante desagradable. No nos parece aceptable, simplemente nos ha ignorado estaba muy liada para atendernos. Esto no quiere decir que el personal sea mal educado ha sido algo puntual pero inaceptable, nunca había habido problema siempre han sido muy amables. Ha resultado muy desagradable. Aún así no puedo decir no volveré ya que me parecen muy buenos apartamentos. Aunque se pague un suplemento deberían garantizar lo que el cliente necesita, ya sea balcón cama grande o una vista en particular yo prefiero pagar lo que sea e ir segura, sin sorpresas.

We spent ages choosing this Portimao guest house, but our expectations of it were not met. It's an odd concept, offering a room in an unstaffed house, that doesn't offer breakfast but also doesn't offer any catering facilities?? We booked a ”Superior Triple room with balcony & city view”. What we actually got was a clean, well-decorated double-bed room, sp****ly furnished with one chair, no table to sit at. The balcony was a tiny Juliet balcony overlooking a narrow street & the house opposite- not big enough to stand on, let alone sit on, but then, the ”city view” was actually a large canvas/photo of old Portimao city,over the bed, not a view of Portimao. Sadly, the advertised roof terrace wasn't offered to us during our stay. That might have saved the day. The house itself is a beautifully restored old Portugese house in a narrow cobbled street, which unfortunately was used as a rat-run by traffic, till the early hours.The house was very clean & well decorated, but without any creature comforts. We'd spent the previous few nights in a comfy hotel in Faro , with a marina view & delicious breakfast, so ND Prestige was a stark contrast. It would be fine for one night, but not for several. The owner met us on arrival, gave us a long run-down of their Covid protocols , then left. We let ourselves out on check-out. (The housekeeper was lovely, we crossed paths briefly a few times, as she let herself in). In short, the accommodation websites (hotels.com in this instance) need to ensure their descriptions of properties meet the reality.

El hecho de no hacer el check-in/out en el lugar es muy desconfortable. No es hotel, no llaman hotel, son habitaciones en un edificio. Quiero saber si los gastos ocasionados por esto vuelven a pagar. Por lo demás, todo está perfecto ubicación, comodidad, finalmente. Espero que informen a los pasajeros de la primera dirección para que no tengamos que volver.
