We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The personal touch and the warm hospitality shone through the moment we arrived. Despite the punishing cold, two of their staff were already standing by the side of the road waiting to welcome us. They ushered us to our room, patiently explained everything and left a contact so we could reach out at any point in time. We needed a late lunch and the kitchen readily whipped up three dishes. We were shown to a private dining room with an amazing view. The food portions were generous, the food was hearty and delicious, and we had the same impeccable service from the young men who had greeted us. The next day they arranged for transport to and from Jiu Zhai Gou National Park for us after a delicious breakfast. When we informed upon our regurn that we'd have to be up at the crack of dawn the following day to make the 2 hour drive to the train station to catch an 8am train, they apologised that they'd not be able to prepare breakfast that early but instead packed us a generous bag of butter cookies, milk, fruit and sweets to fill our stomachs on the road. What seriously mpressed was the fact that they'd taken care of the little details - they washed the grapes and removed the stems before packing them into a paper box. Such is the degree of their attention to detail and hospitality. In fact, they had prepared a sweet potato mash with grilled cheese as one of the dishes for dinner on our first night. We ended up not touching the dish as we were too full and apologised profusely for it. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that they had made the effort to whip up a fresh batch for our dinner on the second night. We made a point to eat (and finish) it this time round and were not disappointed - it was mind-blowingly good! If you want a quiet get-away to relax and be pampered, this is where you'd want to be. They certainly live up to every excellent review they have received. To the extremely polite and unassuming young man who served us for our 3D2N stay, a big thank you! We never got his name but he'll forever be in our hearts and thoughts for making our stay such a memorable one. Of course, special mention must be made of Huahua, their resident dog who brings so much joy to all. Together with the warmth and hospitality of their staff, they have turned what would have been another cookie cutter hotel into a memorable and remarkable stay with the welcoming warmth of home.

There isn’t a photo in this world that would do the view here justice. The trip via Didi was around 90 mins door to door from Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station. Cost varied between 250-320 Yuan in June ‘26. The host is very helpful organising pick up / drop offs, whilst we used Didi to transfer from the railway station it’s worth checking in with the hotel to see what alternatives there are. The views from the rooms are magical. It doesn’t matter the weather or the season, the ever changing view is always just a moment away from showing you something spectacular. Here there is no good or bad weather. The host is very helpful, he organised transfers to and from the scenic area on demand. The chef made us breakfast to go for the morning and the manager was truly hospitable, above and beyond anything I expected from a small guesthouse. The entire team made our honeymoon trip very memorable. Whilst very little English is spoken in these parts, it should not deter you from coming. The people are patient and helpful, transport is seamless and Didi’s are regular. Everyone is very used to having to use WeChat to talk to foreigners. The hotel is about a half an hour drive from the main entrance to the park. Once inside Jiuzhaigou pay the extra money to take the VIP tour experience to avoid the crowds. Jump off at the last stop to explore the park on foot with whatever time is left before closing if you like. Food is quite limited, so grab some dinner at the town before heading back up into the mountain. This place is breathtaking in my opinion. An unforgettable stay in the mountains I would absolutely love to come back to someday.

We all loved staying here in this beautiful hotel. Traditional decoration on the outside with modern comfort and convenience on the inside. Such a cosy place with thoughtfully designed rooms. Heated floors were incredible during our winter stay. Shower was spacious with instant hot water and strong water pressure. Host was very helpful and welcoming. Short walk to a couple of restaurants and small supermarkets/mini mart. Free shuttle to the entrance of JZG. We also used their paid pick up/drop off service from the hsr station which was very convenient with a good safe driver and car. Felt very well taken care of at this accommodation. Recommended without hesitation for all travellers visiting JZG.

A super pretty hotel with beautiful design and great vibes throughout the property and the rooms. The surrounding scenery is stunning. It’s very convenient that the hotel provides a Mercedes van shuttle service to Jiuzhaigou National Park. The breakfast offers a variety of options and tastes great. I stayed at the end of autumn, close to the winter season, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to everyone! 🥰✨

El ambiente es muy cómodo, la habitación está limpia, el jefe es muy amable y nos mejoró la habitación. La calefacción por suelo radiante también es súper cómoda y se ha organizado un automóvil especial para recoger y dejar de forma gratuita desde el área escénica de Jiuzhaigou. Los gatos del B&B y un corgi llamado ”Hanhan” son súper lindos y los niños los adoran mucho. La temperatura del agua de las aguas termales privadas también es muy adecuada. Después de caminar en la zanja durante un día, báñese por la noche para relajarse.

Después de fijar el viaje a Yuan, se eligieron muchos hoteles, y también se cree que su aspecto de hotel es tibetano, y el precio es adecuado durante el 11o Día Nacional. Jiuzhaigou is a popular tourist destination, so hotels nearby are understandably expensive—especially during holidays. For that reason, I chose to stay a bit farther away, in a hostel instead of a hotel. This hostel recently reopened in 2025, which was one of the reasons I decided to give it a try. While the amenities are new, I noticed that cleanliness could use some improvement. There was visible dust in several corners and hard-to-reach areas, which gave the place a slightly unkempt feel. The bathroom, although newly fitted, also had minor drainage issues—the shower tended to clog a little, possibly due to accumulated hair. The hostel provides a laundry room, which I initially planned to use, but I didn’t feel entirely comfortable with the environment after entering, so I decided not to. They also offer a simple breakfast for an additional fee (around 15 CNY, if I remember correctly). It’s a nice option for travelers who want to grab a quick bite before heading out for hiking or sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou. I noticed that many reviews mentioned the owner as very welcoming and friendly. However, since I arrived late after visiting the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, I didn’t have much interaction with the owner myself. The next morning, I left early for my next destination in Huanglong, so my stay was quite brief. That said, I didn’t experience any discomfort or issues with the service—overall, everything felt perfectly fine. While I don’t expect hostel standards to match those of a hotel, I do believe that cleanliness is the foundation of a good stay. If this aspect improves, I think this place would definitely be worth booking.
