UUsuario anónimoMy family and I totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean and amenities are really good. The service staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is actually very good for tourist because it is very convenient to assess a lot of food and photo taking sceneries. The thing is, it is not exactly easy to find the taxi will only send you to a place nearby and then you would have to figure out how to go to the hotel. There are some rooms on the second level so it might be a bit tiring to climb up the stairs but we were fortunate to get rooms on the ground floor with a courtyard view. Do look out for mosquitoes but there are mosquito repellent provided. Breakfast is also provided, we had noodles and some condiments. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

UUsuario invitadoThe Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou** underwent a renovation and upgrade in 2022, retaining some elements of Jiangnan-style gardens while blending in modern design. The overall aesthetic reflects a contemporary Chinese style, with partial preservation of traditional garden landscapes such as water features and pavilions.
My stay at the Kimpton Bamboo Grove was quite satisfying overall. What I loved most was the breakfast here—the hotel offers a wide variety of high-quality options, from Chinese dim sum and Suzhou-style local delicacies to Western dishes, all meticulously prepared and exceptionally flavorful. The richness and refinement of the breakfast spread could even rival that of top-tier five-star hotels in Shanghai, providing guests with a premium dining experience. The selection was diverse, and every item was perfectly executed.
The freshly made Suzhou-style noodle soup had a delicious broth, while the eggs Benedict from the Western breakfast station were authentically prepared. The fruit section featured fresh seasonal choices daily, making it enjoyable even after several days of dining there.
The service attitude of the staff was truly commendable. The front desk handled check-in efficiently, and room service was quick to respond. Most of the hotel employees were young and eager to assist guests.
Rachel added me on WeChat, so whenever I had any room requests, I could simply message her before heading out—very convenient and thoughtful service! The room itself was moderately sized with a practical layout, comfortable bedding, and well-scented amenities. The bathroom had strong water pressure, and the housekeeping staff kept everything spotless daily.
The hotel’s location was convenient, within walking distance to several major attractions. The public areas were well-maintained, clean, and cozy—especially the lobby lounge, which was perfect for waiting or getting some work done. While it may not be the kind of jaw-dropping luxury experience, the fact that every aspect was executed flawlessly, paired with attentive and considerate service, makes it a hotel I’d gladly choose again. Thanks to all the staff for their dedicated service!

El hotel dispone de una habitación con unas bebidas y comidas, agua limpia (caliente) y una sopa de noche. El hotel es un edificio antiguo y hermoso con todas las instalaciones más modernas que puedas necesitar. Me atrevo a decir que la habitación era más agradable en la vida real que en las fotos. La zona alrededor del hotel es muy ocupada y el tráfico no es ideal, pero es muy central para las calles de compras infinitas en la zona, así como muchas de las atracciones.

UUsuario invitadoNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here.
Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

EElena1006¡Diría que este hotel es el mejor lugar de Suzhou! Alojarse en un hotel se trata de comodidad y hospitalidad, y este hotel ofrece ambas al 100%.
Ubicación. Muy cerca de la estación de Shilu, tome la salida 12; también hay ascensor. Todos los principales lugares de interés turístico están a poca distancia a pie.
Personal. Recepción 24/7, todo el personal es amable y la mayoría habla inglés con un nivel adecuado o con una aplicación de traducción para el móvil.
Habitaciones. Viajábamos 2 adultos y 3 niños, así que reservamos 2 habitaciones. El hotel nos proporcionó habitaciones muy cerca e incluso nos cambiaron una habitación, lo cual fue más conveniente para alojarnos con un bebé. Alojarnos en habitaciones con futón fue una experiencia interesante. El secador de pelo y todas las comodidades son de una calidad sorprendentemente alta, al nivel de un hotel de lujo.
Desayunos. Esto es muy especial de este hotel. La variedad de platos (incluyendo ramen y mochi a diario) es excelente y la comida está muy rica. Muchas gracias al personal de cocina.
Servicios adicionales. El cuarto de lavado con dos lavadoras y dos secadoras facilitaba la comodidad con ropa limpia a diario, algo fundamental en climas cálidos. El té de la tarde es un detalle agradable del hotel, ya que permite disfrutar de un espacio fresco y evitar el calor del día.
En general, el hotel es elegante y la comodidad de los huéspedes está pensada hasta el último detalle. Recomiendo ampliamente este hotel para alojarse en Suzhou.

No se puede conducir en coche, hay que caminar unos 200-300 metros desde la calle principal. El hotel está situado en el segundo piso. Tenemos que llevar nuestro equipaje. La experiencia gratuita de Han Fu es solo de 2 horas. Es necesario reservar con antelación. El restaurante del hotel no sirve comida. Es necesario reservar con antelación. Estuvimos atrapados en el hotel durante un día entero debido al tifón. No hay mucho que hacer en la pequeña habitación. Y no sirven comida a pesar de que no podemos salir. No fue una experiencia muy agradable.

GGallleyaThis is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating.
The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel.
