I don’t usually write reviews, but this one comes straight from the heart. Our stay at Naked Water in Suzhou was unforgettable—not just because of the breathtaking scenery or the stunning villa with its private pools (yes, both hot and lukewarm!), but because of the people who made our time there genuinely magical. A special thanks to Devin, the restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to help organize a private in-villa dining experience for my proposal. With the help of Nancy and Adrian—two incredibly kind and thoughtful staff members—they set up a beautifully decorated table inside our villa, complete with fresh flowers, flawless food presentation, and a warm, graceful presence throughout the evening. They even prepared parting gifts for us and were on hand for anything we needed, always with a smile. Their support turned my carefully planned moment into something even more meaningful. I’ll never forget it—and neither will my now fiancée. The villa itself was gorgeous—secluded, serene, and perfectly designed for relaxation. Waking up to the quiet of nature, soaking in the private pools, and spotting the resort’s friendly pets wandering about (yes, it’s pet-friendly!) made the entire experience feel intimate and grounding. This place isn’t just a getaway—it’s where memories are made. We’re already planning to come back for our anniversary. Eternally grateful.

Our stay at naked Water was very pleasant! We went in the middle of winter and during the week so it was quite peaceful and empty. I'm sure in the summer it must be gorgeous and buzzing! The staff were all very accommodating and even gave us a free upgraded room - which was too big for us as a couple and so we asked if we could have a smaller place again and within a few moments it was quickly settled thanks to a very kind staff member named Adrian. The thing that really stood out to me above everything here was how kind and willing the staff are to make things as easy and convenient as possible. It felt like we were being spoiled which was very different to what we are used to! All in all, a lovely experience but I'd definitely advise choosing some nice weather where everything is green - although the winter had its own charm too. I stayed with my partner and dog for 2nights. Unfortunately it was right after the major typhoon so there was a lot of debris that the hotel had to clean out but the place was gorgeous! Rooms were massive and had enough privacy. We got to enjoy our private pool and just relax. The facility has lots of indoor activities, like pottery, painting, and making sandwiches. We ended up trying the pottery experience and had a really good time. We were hoping to do some hiking or outdoor activity but it was a bit limited which was sad but the hotel rented out bikes and we were able to go cycling outside of the resort and was pretty nice. Would highly recommend trying it out. The hotel food was also surprisingly good. We didn’t have high expectations but everything we tried was good, and we didn’t mind eating at the restaurant at all. For the foreigners out there, they don’t speak much English here. Apparently it’s under the Naked resort name, but run by locals. But they made the effort to communicate over WeChat and some staff did speak broken English so we were able to get by. I would recommend this facility to families with kids. It will keep them occupied for sure, with parents being able to relax. If it’s a couple’s stay, maybe one night would be enough.

It was a pleasant stay. The only negative was that the outside swimming pool was out of order, which kids were looking forward to using.

Amazing family vacation, great stay, excellent service from all people in the hotel, the commodities in the house are super nice and we really enjoyed the private pool and jacuzzi 👍 😎

The service at Naked Water is second to none. We were so well taken care of during our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and the villa had everything we could need. The free bike rental was nice as we could explore the surrounding area easily. The spa was also excellent. I had one of the best massages in my life. I’d highly recommend this hotel. We made a mistake booking only one night.
