Had a wonderful 3-night stay there! Location: Ride hailing is needed to visit the nearby restaurants/ shops at 二道白河镇 as it’s located on a hill (about 10 min ride away). The entrance looks a little shabby but do not worry, just follow the direction and signage, you are in good hands!! The nearest walkable shop is a small local convenient store. A short 10 min walk to the meetup point to go up changbaishan (長白山北景區遊客集散中心）. Experience: A very comfortable stay with very approachable staffs. No issue with network connection. Breakfast is simple but with fresh ingredients. Very clean stay. Every item in the stay (such as bedding, shampoo, toilet, drinks etc) are all of very good quality. The guesthouse is decorated with anexcellent sense of aesthetics. The stay experience is definitely better than 3-4 star hotels. Staffs are very responsive and helpful, especially a big plus point for us foreigners. The driver and tours they recommended worth every penny and reduce the trouble of self sourcing. 0 hard selling, the recommendations are purely compiled as a travel guide. It is ultimately a small guesthouse and not a hotel, so please be nice to the staff and let’s not be demanding. Conclusion: It is such a gem in this county region and is the BEST choice if you do not mind paying more for a good stay to ease your mind. I will definitely re-visit it. There is a small kitchen with simple payable cafe menu. The environment is very comfortable, if you merely want a place to chill, you can order delivery without needing to go out.

Hotel nuevo y agradable. Cuenta con una excelente lavandería de autoservicio y un buen gimnasio. Ubicado en la ciudad de Erdaobaihe, el hotel está un poco alejado, por lo que no se puede ir andando al Mercado de las Nubes, pero todo está a solo 10 minutos en taxi o Didi. También ofrece recogida gratuita en la estación de tren de alta velocidad (Estación Changbaishan), que también está a solo 10 minutos. Nos alojamos en la habitación familiar grande, que fue perfecta para 2 adultos y 2 niños pequeños. El desayuno ofrece una buena combinación de productos locales e internacionales, incluso miel y yogur locales. Eso sí, no coman los cereales.

Overall, we had a great stay despite a small hiccup with the pickup due to hotel staff turnover and miscommunication. The hotel room was amazing and super well designed with great amenities, it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks in Dongbei. Even though we didn’t book breakfast, the boss gave us free breakfast to comepensate for the poor experience we had with the pickup from the high speed rail (I would strongly recommend giving them a call to confirm the pickup rather than communicating through WeChat). The breakfast was super tasty and has lots of different side dishes (not saying this because it’s free lol), would definitely recommend. We were there during NYE and NY, and seems like people in the neighbourhood really liked fireworks. We probably saw fireworks 8 -9 times during our 3 days stay (including one from our host), super lucky! The local restaurant the host recommended was very tasty as well (not touristy so be prepared for a raw experience), food was great and fried eggs is a must try. The only issue with staying in this area was transport if you don’t have a driver for your stay in Changbaishan (which is a well known issue for all hotels in this area). Getting a cab took about an hour… after constant failing, the boss was so nice that she tried to call all her friends to see if they were available to drive us to the restaurant and we got there at the end!!!! 谢谢老板和老板娘的烟花还有小礼物，我们玩得特别开心！

Hotel is very nice & clean. There are hot springs indoor & outdoor pool. Every staff is very nice and helping us a lot. They can’t speak English but they use WeChat to talk to us and help us everything since we booking like booking the bus or send us how to go to railway or How to find the bus. They also help order the food, booking scenic spots tickets, write the sign to help us to get back to hotel went we go out. If we have a chance, we will absolutely come back here.

The room is new, clean, and has no cigarette smell. Luggage storage is available. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Zhongyang Street, near a famous ice cream shop and a tasty mala sausage stall. The area at the end of Zhongyang Street is beautiful and less crowded. I would stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel! The hotel is very affordable, making it a great option for budget travelers without compromising on comfort. What really stood out was the owner’s incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the owner went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. They provided transport from Changbaishan Station to the hotel and even offered to take us to local attractions at no extra charge, which made exploring the area so much easier. The photos below show the owner fetching us to the attractions, which was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel is located right in town, so it’s very convenient. There are many food options nearby, as well as a convenience store, which made grabbing snacks or essentials very easy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall environment of the hotel was welcoming and cozy. The owner is truly a kind and thoughtful person, always ready to help and ensure guests have a smooth and pleasant stay. I felt really looked after throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel with excellent service, a convenient location, and a personal touch, I highly recommend Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel. The combination of affordability, hospitality, and convenience makes it an outstanding choice for anyone visiting the area.

The staff were very kind and we were impressed by their sincere attitude toward the guests. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory. If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff. Also, grilling skewers and enjoying a glass of soju in the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable delight.

酒店人員服務態度非常好，辦好入住一直給送到房間，早上去吃早餐，路上遇到服務人員一直帶路到餐廳門口。晚上去泡温泉同樣給送到温泉門口。房間整潔乾淨舒適衞生。酒店環境非常好，路對面就是美人松廣場，對於未婚男士來説抱一抱美人松説不上就會給你帶來一場造化抱得美人歸。距離長白山遊客集散中心也很近，開車不到10分鐘，酒店停車場很大且免費。 室外露天温泉體驗也超棒。

Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.
