Este hotel moderno se encuentra a la estación principal de ferrocarril de Bonn, a pocos minutos a pie de los lugares turísticos del centro de la ciudad, y a la orilla de un hermoso distrito residencial histórico que incluye los jardines botánicos que merecen visitar. El hotel dispone de una gran tienda de panadería y una buena panadería en todo el camino. Así que una excelente ubicación en general. Las habitaciones son bastante espaciosas, camas confortables, TV grande. No hay instalaciones de café. El hotel tiene una tarjeta de viaje de Bonn para la duración de la estancia: es una adición agradable. El principal desventaja es que se oye un poco de ruido desde los trenes y la estación. Más que en algunos otros hoteles hemos permanecido en esa estación de ferrocarril. Mi compañero dormió bien, no lo hice. Los trenes de carga pasaron cada 15 minutos o así durante toda la noche. Es extraño, cuando el primer día me había preguntado acerca de un posible cambio de habitación al lado de la carretera del edificio (10 euros más, ¡No hay trenes a la noche! ¿Me quedaría si visitara Bonn? Probablemente sí.

We stayed for a couple of nights at the Kameha Grand in Bonn. The location is great for walking and cycling and about 15 mins drive from the centre of Bonn on the other sider of the river. Lots of very safe cycle paths everywhere. Our junior suite was large and very comfortable. Strangely, the mini-bar was empty, but I did not find out why. The styling would not be to everyones taste, but I certainly liked it and the hotel is flooded with light. Breakfast was very good with the usual offerings. We made use of the swimming pool on the 3rd floor in the spa, which was heated and overlooks the Rhine. We found the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable throughout. We used Uber to get around Bonn, although the service only recently came to Bonn and the service was a bit patchy. Be prepared to wait for longer than you would in bigger cities such as Berlin. We did not try any of the restaurants at the Kameha as we were only there for a short while. If anyone needs a recommendation, try Oscar in der Remise, about 8 minutes away by car. For travellers to Germany, bring cash as the country is still behind the times and a bit analogue. The lovely Rheinlust beer garden about 10mins drive away does not accept any form of credit cards. Some taxi drivers also struggled with electronic payment. Looking forward to returning to the Kameha

Hotel is located in a quiet forest area, a 20 minute busride to the city center. Busstop about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, runs every 30 minutes even on weekends. We travelled with a group of 8 people and had different rooms, amongst them junior suites, single rooms and standard rooms. The suites were well equipped, with large bathroom and 'salon'. One suite however did not have a TV in the bedroom only the salon, the other suite did have 2 TV's. Single rooms were attic rooms, quite small, dark and not very attractive. Pillows were plenty and thick, mattress however to hard for my liking. Although the hotel tablet mentioned all rooms were equipped with a (free of service) coffee and tea bar, only the suites had one as told by the receptionist. False advertising and the solution offered by reception was to ask for hot water from the hotel bar, which by the way was not open the entire weekend. Closed on Friday evening and reserved for a private party on Saturday. Unacceptable; all paying hotel guests should have access to the displayed facilities. The Basilico hotel restaurant is another one for the books. Terrible service, had to wait about an hour to get our meal with only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Price/quality the worst I've seen in a long time. Most of us left the table hungry, but no surprise when there's only 3 baby potatoes on your plate, cut in half to make your plate look full ... On the upside, breakfast buffet was quite nice. Good variety of meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, yoghurt, lachs, meatballs, eggs, etc. Previously they had a hot station where eggs were made 'à la minute', but probably cancelled now because of covid. Bathroom was equipped with a bathtub and shower in one. Only had 1 large towel and smelled horrible, but housekeeping in the hallway solved this very quickly and extremely friendly. Incomprehensible that none of the 5 rooms we've stayed in had hot water in the shower/bath, it was lukewarm at best whether morning or evening. Don't count on the WIFI either, very unreliable. Overall, I've stayed in hotels of the Dorint chain before with less stars but far better service, better rooms and most of all, better food price/qualitywise.

El hotel ”Acora Bonn - Living the City” es un hotel de clase extra, una vez algo muy diferente de los hoteles tradicionales que se habita normalmente. En la fachada de la casa se lee el escrito. Acora - Hotel y alojamiento. ” Así un hotel que no hemos conocido hasta ahora ... Este hotel de tres pisos es comparable a una residencia en la que el entorno completo de viviendas es una casa familiar. Aquí en el hotel Acora se puede hacer un breve descanso o incluso vivir por un tiempo más largo. Los trabajadores de montaje parecen vivir aquí por un tiempo más largo... Sólo hemos encontrado a los jóvenes... Para nosotros, los vacacionales, se ofrecen alojamiento con desayuno, Lo que nos ha sido suficiente. Existe un garaje profundo y cuesta 4€ por día. La zona donde se encuentra el hotel se llama Bonn - Tannenbusch, y está a unos 4 kilómetros del centro de Bonn. La entrada de autopista no está muy lejos del hotel...También hay la parada de metro Bonn-Tannenbusch. Por lo tanto, el hotel está en realidad central. Nosotros, que estaban satisfechos con el servicio que se ofreció aquí. La única falta es que no hay sillas en este complejo de edificios. Fuimos invitados satisfechos. Das Malerwinkel Hotel ist eine perfekte kleine Oase. Sehr liebevoll geführt beginnt der Aufenthalt mit einem sehr freundlichen, persönlichen und informativen Checkin. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll, praktisch und mit viel Sorgfalt gestaltet (wir hatten ein modernes Komfort Zimmer im Künstlerhaus). Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig mit leckerem Kaffee, Deftigem und Süßem. Hinzu kommt ein wirklich gemütliches und schönes Ambiente. Dieses kleine Hotel ist einfach nur zu empfehlen!

La habitación es muy espaciosa y limpia, me pidió una cama doble y la recibimos, pero desgraciadamente, sólo pusieron dos camas individuales junto a la otra. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. La única cosa que no me gustaba es que la casa de mantenimiento se llenó al menos 4 veces en nuestra habitación de 10 a 11:30. Para ver si ya hemos salido de la habitación o no, cuando deberían tener la información de la recepción si hemos salido o no. La primera vez que fue muy bien no nos importaba mucho, pero la última vez que creo que fue el gobierno que realmente llegó, abrió la puerta y gritó a nosotros en alemán. Fue 11:30 pero nos dijeron que podíamos quedarse hasta 12 si fuera necesario. A menos que este descontento recomiendo este hotel. Chloë Michiels

This Marriott is located near the river, with nie walking paths nearby. It is easy to drive to, on the outskirts of the city of Bonn, and very near a metro station. The parking garage is large and easy to navigate. There are no nearby resturants (other than the overpriced one in the hotel)....a Vapianos and one other place, named ”Different” are the next closest at about a 15-20 minute walk away and no grocery stores close enough to easily walk to. This is our second stay here and in both cases Lieferando orders took FOREVR to get to us and involved lost drivers. We saw two other guest parties having similar delivery issues this stay. The front desk staff are very friendly and professional. Check in and out went smoothly. The executive lounge is spacious and recently renovated. Food and drink offerings and service were less than most Marriotts in Germany. There are only peanuts and gummy candies during the day. Plus water (if someone has refilled it, it was empty almost as often as full), coffee and a soda fountain with Pepsi products. Evening cocktail hour adds juices, wines and beer, NO ice brought in for the sodas (we did flag someone down the first night and ask for it, it was brought about half an hour later, but the staff seem so busy we didn't feel comforatble asking again). Lounge staff never greet guests or offer any service, only come to refill food or drinks in the self serve area or bus tables from time to time. Snacks are defintely that, snacks, most Marriott lounges you can make a light meal out of the offerings, not this one (ironic given how little other meal options are nearby). The main offering was soup nightly (plus a VERY small salad and cheses selection and one meat based starter each night). The soup alternated between cauliflower or potato nightly. The gym is large and a highlight of the property. Lots of equipment and all in good shape. Housekeeping is below expectations. Our room was missed one day, dirty glasses (all placed togehter on one dresser) were never removed (there were 14 at the end of the week), lotion not refilled, etc. However the major cleaning was done, and towels were actually left to be reused when we hung them up, which was nice. There was an ice bucket in the room but the only way to get ice was to call for room service. They really need to add an ice machine to the shop area like so many other marriotts in Germany are doing. The bed was confotable and the room fairly well layed out overall. One final gripe: the TVs are enclosed in a wood frame to keep people from plugging a device into them to stream. OK, I am sure too many people damage TVs doing that, BUT this hotel also fails to offer streaming, or log in options diretcly on the TV, etc. Most any good hotel these days finds a way to let you stream your content on the in room TV and lacking that, plus the only channels available being basic German ones, really felt like somthing was missing. Overall it is more good
