No me quedé en el hotel por primera vez, todo está bien, hay un gran estacionamiento, piscina disponible, habitaciones más grandes que otros hoteles, muebles cansados y algunas puertas de aire acondicionado, pero una buena cama y TV/refrigeración/mesa/aercondicionado.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Yellow House Rayong. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge. From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcomed and comfortable.
The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings, which allowed me to fully unwind and enjoy the slower pace.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality really stood out and added a personal touch to my stay.
Overall, it was a very relaxing and memorable experience. I would highly recommend Yellow House Rayong to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and I would definitely love to come back again in the future.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and exceptional service. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully arranged to make the stay relaxing. The facilities were top-notch, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting.
The food was another highlight — every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, making dining here a real pleasure. The breakfast selection was especially impressive with plenty of delicious options to choose from.

We only had one night stay and arrived late/left early, however we wished we had stayed longer. The staff were very helpful, the room was gorgeous and very reasonably priced. The push bikes available to use were a lovely touch, we had a great time riding them along the streets. The reception provides free ear plugs which will be needed as the cockerels start crowing from around 5am (although I didn’t mind this as I love chickens and used it as an excuse to get up and see the sunrise!)

El hotel está delante de la playa, a 1 minuto caminando. Cruzas la calle y estás en la arena. Las instalaciones están bien. Se están quedando un poco antiguas. El servicio muy bueno. Me ayudaron en todo lo que les pregunté, me dijeron que si tenía problemas con el wifi (nunca pasó, siempre funcionó a la perfección) que vendrían y me lo arreglarían. Además, me prepararon una bicicleta para que pudiera ir arriba y abajo. Yo viajaba solo, y no le pongo muchas pegas a la vida.

Oh Taley Resort is a really great place to stay if you’re looking for calm, quiet, and relaxation. The atmosphere is peaceful, and it’s perfect for escaping noise and stress. The location is very nice, close to the sea, and the overall environment is clean and well maintained.
The swimming pool is excellent, and the service around the resort is friendly and professional. Everything is well organized, and you can truly enjoy your time here.
The only small thing that could make the experience even better would be adding a coffee machine for guests. Even a simple option selling coffee for 40–50 baht would be very convenient, especially since 7-Eleven is a bit far. This would be a great added value for guests.
Overall, everything is great: location, pool, service, and peaceful vibe. I highly recommend Oh Taley Resort and would happily stay here again.

Aannie721Durante este viaje, nos alojamos en dos hoteles del mismo grupo: el Sakai y el Le Viman. Sin embargo, el servicio y las instalaciones entre ambos eran muy diferentes. Para empezar, el Sakai goza de una ubicación privilegiada; está cerca de la calle principal, lo que facilita el acceso a restaurantes, tiendas y masajes. La playa es hermosa y animada, y todas las noches a las 19:30 hay un espectáculo de forja, ofreciendo mucho entretenimiento.
En cuanto a los puntos negativos, una empleada delgada en la recepción durante el turno de noche tenía una actitud bastante desagradable: interrumpía a los huéspedes antes de que terminaran de hablar y siempre parecía de mal humor. Respecto a la limpieza de la habitación: el segundo día, al ir a desayunar, colgamos el cartel de 'Por favor, limpiar la habitación'. Sin embargo, hasta las 4 de la tarde, y a pesar de que entramos y salimos varias veces, la habitación seguía sin limpiar. Finalmente, cerca de las 16:00, no pude más y llamé a recepción para solicitar la limpieza; solo entonces enviaron a alguien. De lo contrario, dudo que hubieran venido ese día. Dado que las habitaciones del hotel parecían tener algunos años, estaban extremadamente húmedas. El suelo del baño siempre estaba mojado y la ropa de cama, muy húmeda e incómoda. Esto nos hacía sentir incómodos cada vez que volvíamos y la encontrábamos sin limpiar.
Finalmente, después del check-out, informamos al personal de recepción que nuestro siguiente hotel era el Le Viman, y nos dijeron que nos llevarían en un songthaew (taxi compartido). Pensamos: '¡Qué bien! Nos llevan hasta allí, debe ser porque somos del mismo grupo hotelero'. Para nuestra sorpresa, el día de la salida, subimos a un songthaew con otros pasajeros y nos llevaron al muelle. Estaban a punto de embarcarnos de regreso al muelle de Ban Phe en Rayong, y nuestro equipaje ya estaba en un barco con otro vehículo. En el muelle, el conductor del songthaew y nosotros tuvimos que subir al barco a buscar nuestras maletas, bajarlas, y luego el conductor llamó al Sakai para comunicarles que nos habían enviado al lugar equivocado y preguntar adónde debían llevarnos. La situación era un caos total. Al final, el mismo conductor nos llevó al Le Viman, y el coste del trayecto fue cubierto por el Le Viman. ¡Increíblemente frustrante!
El Le Viman, en cambio, fue impecable. Las habitaciones eran muy secas y el suelo estaba pulcro. La ropa que no se secó en dos días en el Sakai, se secó en una sola noche en el Le Viman. Lo que más me impresionó fue la primera mañana: al ir a desayunar, colgamos de nuevo el cartel de 'Por favor, limpiar la habitación'. Apenas 40 minutos después, al regresar del desayuno, el personal ya había dejado la habitación impecablemente limpia. Y cabe destacar que el Le Viman está compuesto por bungalows adosados, lo que implica más esfuerzo para el personal de limpieza que en el Sakai, cuyas habitaciones son más tipo apartamento y aun así no las limpiaban ni a las 4 de la tarde.
En resumen, definitivamente volveré al Le Viman en el futuro, pero el Sakai no lo consideraré de nuevo.

TTaMaReThis is a good basic stay fir the money paid, I think around £25 per night? I feel kind of lucky I had bungalow 36 which was right opposite the reception but having said that I didn’t have any privacy because the double glazed patio doors only had curtains which when open everyone could see in meaning when I was there I had to have the curtains closed and the lights on. Which was a shame as a simple set of sheet curtains would have solved this issue. Having said that the noise was limited I expected it to be noisy but Toks bars did keep the music low and I think it went off quite early too. I had a terrace eith bench exterior lighting and table, bin and broom to sweep up sand and a thick bathroom mat towel to dust sand off feet when entering the bungalow. Inside the bungalow was a fridge a safe wardrobe kettle urn two mugs two glasses, 2 dental kits, shampoo conditioner shower gel, 2 x towels, 1 small roll of toilet roll, 1 x bar of soap. You get towels, wash kit loo roll left on your terrace each night of your stay except the night before you leave. I think if you want your room done over you ask reception. The room was clean though the bathroom appeared clean but could do with a deep clean as sink overflow was black and the air con piping was dusty as was the extraction fan. You also got a bath mat in the bathroom and a bin. The loo had a bidet facet. There was a slight sewage smell in the morning on my second day but it’s an island and sure their sewage collection piping is probably quite fragile. I walked to the hotel when I arrived and I think you walk past the sewage works/garbage tip it smells horrendous 🤣. Overall I would stay here again as it’s a good location not sure if I would want to be in a bungalow at the top of the hill though. the beach is across the road, taxi open vans pick up from outside, there’s a cafe, snack places, restaurant bar across the road Toks on the beach and in front of that is a set of beach loungers run by Ed she charges 100 baht. The beach is beautiful a little litter here and there and around the island as a whole but I think you’d find that a lot of places these days, it’s very sad.

CChris 王墨迪Overall the hotel has certainly fallen over the past 3 years and it’s pretty sad to see this happen, if you’re a single traveler or a couple I would recommend but I couldn’t recommend the hotel to families in its current state.
Management: Great management they listen to complaints, they are responsible and try to solve all issues. Sadly the management don’t have so much to work with these days.
General staff: A large percentage of the staff are Cambodian and living in limbo with the current issues between both countries. With the exception of one or two Cambodian staff most are either depressed and miserable or damn right rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. (The floor manager explained this himself)
Rooms: Nice and simple rooms the do the job but aging fast. The rooms look good but are not high quality materials and it shows the labor and material quality is low and cheap. Showers have virtually no pressure when the hotel is busy and the water won’t reach higher than luke-warm.
Location: I have to say it’s one of the best locations on the island when considering location and facilities and I guess this is their main selling point. They have shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shop and more.
Patrons: Most of the year the majority of visitors are going to be Tha and Asian, they are respectful, they have manners and they will be great to holiday alongside. During Christmas to New Year there were too many rude Europeans especially Swedish tourists, these tourists camped and took over large areas of the bar and restaurants, they moved around furniture, they were rude and disrespectful to other tourists leaving trash noise and mess wherever they visited. (Staff and management ignored)
Note: This used to be a great hotel and I have continuously visited over the past several years. Unfortunately I have begun to see a degradation of the hotel, the attitude towards western tourists (due to poor behavior of westerners) as well as issues related to the diplomatic issues between Cambodia and Thailand. I due hope this improves in the future.
With new staff or new immigration laws as well as new investment into the hotel it could easily thrive once more.

Ubicación y acceso a la playa
Su privilegiada ubicación frente al mar es, sin duda, su mayor atractivo. Situado junto a una hermosa franja de aguas cristalinas y poco profundas, ofrece condiciones seguras e ideales para que las familias disfruten del mar. Su comodidad es inmejorable: se encuentra a tan solo dos minutos a pie de la famosa playa de Sai Kaew, el emblemático Monumento de la Sirena y la animada zona del Silversand Resort.
Alojamiento y ambiente
Si bien el edificio del resort muestra el paso del tiempo, las habitaciones renovadas crean un ambiente encantador con una iluminación preciosa que transforma la estructura antigua en un lugar realmente atractivo. Nos alojamos en la tercera planta, que ofrecía tranquilas vistas a la montaña con vistas al bosque del parque nacional, en lugar de vistas a la playa. El entorno es realmente tranquilo y silencioso, justo lo que buscábamos para una escapada familiar.
Consideración importante: No hay ascensor, por lo que subir a los pisos superiores requiere una buena caminata. Como bromeábamos, ¡ir de la habitación a las áreas exteriores cuatro veces al día supone un buen ejercicio! Esto hace que el complejo no sea adecuado para personas mayores o con problemas de movilidad.
Experiencia gastronómica
El desayuno es una delicia; se sirve en un restaurante junto a la playa donde se puede disfrutar con la arena entre los dedos de los pies. La selección es impresionante, con una buena variedad de opciones occidentales y tailandesas, incluyendo fruta fresca.
El restaurante de playa del complejo sirve comida de calidad con una excelente relación calidad-precio; probamos varios platos y nos gustaron todos. Sin embargo, no hay servicio de habitaciones y el restaurante cierra temprano (entre las 21:30 y las 22:00). Cuando nos entraban antojos a altas horas de la noche, el 7-Eleven cercano (a solo 5-6 minutos a pie) nos resultó muy práctico para comprar algo de comer.
Servicios y detalles de la habitación
Los servicios de la habitación son adecuados, aunque no lujosos. La ducha está bien diseñada y cuenta con un vestidor amplio. Sin embargo, notamos un olor desagradable proveniente del desagüe del baño que requirió atención durante nuestra estancia.
Actividades y alrededores
Para actividades acuáticas como parasailing, snorkel y moto acuática, deberá caminar hasta la playa de Sai Kaew para encontrar proveedores de servicios; afortunadamente, encontramos excelentes opciones allí.
Veredicto final
Avatara Resort es un destino ideal para familias que combina acceso directo a la playa, un ambiente tranquilo y precios razonables. Si bien tiene algunas limitaciones (falta de ascensor, cierre temprano del restaurante, pequeños problemas de mantenimiento), la experiencia general fue agradable e inolvidable.
Recomendado para: Familias que buscan una escapada tranquila a la playa, que no les importan las escaleras y prefieren un ambiente de resort más tranquilo.

UUsuario invitadoThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you don’t have a motorcycle you don’t get around well.
There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isn’t that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour.
The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to „ I don’t give the slightest **** for you“ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups.
Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions.
The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar.
The beach wasn’t that great. You don’t walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

We are very familiar with island life in Thailand and appreciate that some things just don’t work as well.
The location of Malibu Samed Resort is gorgeous, it’s more or less situated on the beach of the small quaint Wong Duean Bay.
There are several beach restaurants available, the vibe is chilled, without the drinking or ******** culture. It’s lovely.
Our welcome was warm, the staff were great and happy to help with our luggage.
Our room is small 16 m² with 2 single beds, some hanging and storage space.
It has a rustic feel to it. There is a fridge which is always welcome, tea and coffee making facilities, which we always appreciate, as well as a safety deposit box & flat screen TV.
The bed and pillow are comfortable but not sumptuous.
Towels are provided and I would say are of typical island quality.
However the shower was an issue, obviously water is limited on the island and taking a hot shower was challenging but actually having a good supply of water either in the evening or morning was very hit and miss. Missed more often, it gets frustrating when you can’t have an adequate shower, that’s one of the reasons we move about frequently.
Breakfast is of limited quality but there are a variety of options including cereal, hot food both western & Thai.
Toast cereal and tea & coffee.
The pool area was hardly used during our stay so a nice quiet retreat from the beach was available.

UUsuario invitadoI have stayed at Flamingo Villa before (In the Garden Room), but this time I decided to stay in the loft room, which apparently is called the Family Room. Flamingo Villa is somewhat strange, since the ”Hotel” is basically three rooms within the Samed Your House hotel. Our neighbors actually knocked on our door to try and check in ~ You need to call the phone number for Flamingo Villa in order to check in, as someone will come out to meet you. So, bottom line up front: Flamingo Villa is awesome, but get ready to kill a lot of mosquitos! The owners do a good job of lighting incense sticks to try and keep the them away, but there are fountains around the area and the mosquitos are no joke. I would say I killed at least 10 in our room, so it is super important to make sure you close the sliding doors behind you every time you go in and out of the room.
The Family Room was awesome. The lower floor is basically a living room with a large day bed and a big TV with great speakers. The toilet room is separate from the shower. The stairs to the loft are pretty steep, but once you get up there it is really nice. There are two queen beds in the loft, and the glass wall and sliding door separate the bedroom from the main room, which is great because the bedroom has its own AC unit, and the glass keeps out the mosquitoes. The beds were comfortable, but be careful because the ceiling is very low above the beds. The view from up in the loft is very peaceful, and the owners obviously spent a lot of time decorating the place (The Christmas tree was still up while we were there).
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Sai Kaew Beach, and the pier for the ferry is only a 10 minute walk ~ but you can take a mini bus if you would like. The hotel is close to restaurants and stores, and there are two 7-11s close to the beach. We rented a motor bike the last time we were in Koh Samed, but Sai Kaew Beach seems to be the nicest on the island, so we just hung out there.
I love Flamingo Villa, and I am sure I will stay there again in the future.
