UUsuario anónimoEl servicio del personal de traslados fue muy bueno. Hay dos tipos de embarcaciones (lancha rápida y bote lento) y los horarios varían según la temporada. Habíamos reservado una habitación Deluxe Premium. Al llegar demasiado temprano al muelle, fuimos al hotel en el bote lento. Al irnos, tuvimos una lancha rápida privada para nuestra familia, sin necesidad de preocuparnos por nada durante todo el trayecto. Sin embargo, el servicio del personal *dentro del hotel* no fue bueno. Después de hacernos el check-in, nos dejaron solos; lo normal sería que nos acompañaran a la habitación, nos mostraran las instalaciones y nos dieran las indicaciones, ¿no? Solo nos ofrecieron una bebida; una vez terminada, se llevaron el vaso sin preguntar si queríamos reponer. Al hacer el check-out a las 12:00 PM, tuvimos que esperar hasta las 13:45 PM para nuestro barco, pasando más de una hora en el vestíbulo sin que nadie nos ofreciera ni un vaso de agua. El desayuno era deficiente. Este nivel de servicio no justifica un precio de 1300 por noche. Las instalaciones del hotel eran estándar. El restaurante ofrecía un espectáculo de fuego y la playa de arena blanca estaba justo en la puerta. Sin embargo, la calidad del agua en Koh Samet no era buena. El servicio de Ctrip fue excelente, organizaron la habitación exactamente según lo solicitado.

UUsuario anónimoThe experience with the resort is great, the staff are so friendly and polite, the room is large and very clean, the bed is a big plus when it is so comfortable, I have such a very good sleep quality. I also have very good experience with the resort’s restaurant; they served delicious food at a reasonable price and in large portions.
One point you need to know: the beach has many sea urchins, which can cause a very painful injury if you accidentally step on one. So the beach is beautiful but not ideal for swimming, or even diving due to the water not being clear enough to see the corals and fish.
Overall, it is worth staying for a relaxing trip, if you wanna dive or have a great underwater experience you can book a one-day tour with the locals.

CChris 王墨迪Overall the hotel has certainly fallen over the past 3 years and it’s pretty sad to see this happen, if you’re a single traveler or a couple I would recommend but I couldn’t recommend the hotel to families in its current state.
Management: Great management they listen to complaints, they are responsible and try to solve all issues. Sadly the management don’t have so much to work with these days.
General staff: A large percentage of the staff are Cambodian and living in limbo with the current issues between both countries. With the exception of one or two Cambodian staff most are either depressed and miserable or damn right rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. (The floor manager explained this himself)
Rooms: Nice and simple rooms the do the job but aging fast. The rooms look good but are not high quality materials and it shows the labor and material quality is low and cheap. Showers have virtually no pressure when the hotel is busy and the water won’t reach higher than luke-warm.
Location: I have to say it’s one of the best locations on the island when considering location and facilities and I guess this is their main selling point. They have shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shop and more.
Patrons: Most of the year the majority of visitors are going to be Tha and Asian, they are respectful, they have manners and they will be great to holiday alongside. During Christmas to New Year there were too many rude Europeans especially Swedish tourists, these tourists camped and took over large areas of the bar and restaurants, they moved around furniture, they were rude and disrespectful to other tourists leaving trash noise and mess wherever they visited. (Staff and management ignored)
Note: This used to be a great hotel and I have continuously visited over the past several years. Unfortunately I have begun to see a degradation of the hotel, the attitude towards western tourists (due to poor behavior of westerners) as well as issues related to the diplomatic issues between Cambodia and Thailand. I due hope this improves in the future.
With new staff or new immigration laws as well as new investment into the hotel it could easily thrive once more.

I had a beautiful time here since my first step in till the day of step out. 🥰 welcoming with the white tea aroma had already impressed me. My room is a bit small for two but trust me! You don’t wanna stay in the room all day while the beautiful nature is calling outside. Apart from wonderful view right in front of my room, you can have your own moment of sunrise every morning, cozy and nice relaxing a whole day long, walking to see the sunset is less than 10mins. There is great service and the room keeps cleaning which they have never disturbed your staying.
They serve nice breakfast here both international buffet and Thai style. This place might be far away from other happening restaurants in the busy beaches but their dishes are acceptable, Thai dishes are good taste, fresh pizza served right from the oven while drinks, cocktails 🍹are good here! Some missing in the menu but I think they hear it. 😉

GGuest UserEl hotel está situado justo enfrente de la playa. El desayuno en la playa cada mañana te hará sonreír. Está situado en una zona más tranquila de la playa. Volvería a alojarme allí. El único aspecto negativo es que el hotel está en una colina. No es una subida fácil para las personas mayores. Es un poco agotador.

GGuest UserJusto en medio de la playa de Sai Kaew, donde se encuentra la mayor parte de la acción y la comida. Mi habitación era tipo loft, no me gustaba el baño de abajo, pero el de arriba era espacioso. La comida no era excelente, pero había muchos restaurantes en la zona para probar.

Sofá cama doble grande y televisor enorme en la planta baja. Nevera y hervidor de agua. Ducha y aseo separados. Una pequeña zona de estar común justo afuera. Los propietarios se comunicaron muy bien y fueron muy serviciales. Alquilamos una moto por 300.

UUsuario invitadoSaikaew Villa 65 is less than a 5 minute walk from the songthiaw drop off to get to the accommodation, after the 10 minute taxi ride from Ban Phe pier. We booked 3 Superior Twin rooms for family but the rooms were definitely not 'superior'. The rooms lacked any finesse, with a broken lampshade, gaps under the doors for mozzies to get in, a broken light in the bathroom and a leaking sink pipe, dodgy fridge connection and dead batteries in the aircon remote. The room itself was clean and the service for room cleaning was good, but the surrounding area around the rooms was dilapidated, with broken down storage buildings, remnants of building works and rubbish bags and cleaning equipment on display in the walkways each day. There was a definite lack of attention to detail. It was backpacker style but not with a backpacker price tag. I booked the rooms on a balcony, with a view of the courtyard garden, but there was nowhere to sit outside the room, no chairs provided, just small tables. The location is very good, a minute or so walk away from the beach. The attached restaurant, 'Joe's', was very efficiently run and the service there was excellent (thank you to the waiting staff, who were very friendly and helpful). For 60 baht for the day, a deckchair could be rented with an umbrella right on the sea front, and the restaurant staff provided towels for the deckchairs when asked. If you plan on spending little time in your rooms, and you don't mind the outside appearance of the accommodation, then Sai Kaew 65 is a great place to base yourself for all that Sai Kaew and Koh Samed has to offer.
