The word to sum up this lovely hotel with it's wonderful staff is.. Fantastic!! The hotel itself is dated, yes, however it has a kind of old world charm about it. Our impression from arriving to leaving was that we were stepping back in time to the 40s and 50s. Physically the building has echoes of a charming cruise liner, it is also perfectly positioned for everything the town and island has to offer. The staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and super attentive. The food was totally delicious and its presentation of a ”Masterchef” standard. Thankyou again to everyone at Corfu Palace for making our holiday so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future!

The hotel is situated very close the the sea front just off the main road through Benitses. We found it was a really nice place to stay, our room was on the first floor and were lucky enough to get a corner apartment which had a balcony that went round both sides. The room was spotless and cleaned daily, breakfast was good with a nice variation of food, with everyone who worked there very helpful. There are plenty of bars/restaurants along the main road and into the village square.

El hotel está en una muy buena ubicación, muy cerca de la playa y no lejos de atracciones como molinos de viento y faros. Y hay muchos restaurantes junto al mar. Frente al hotel hay un original jardín ecológico con aire fresco. ¡Recomendado!

No solo le sobra una estrella, sino que le sobran hasta dos. El personal del comedor y de la piscina es muy agradable, son todos encantadores; pero el hotel deja mucho que desear: instalaciones viejas, el servicio de limpieza de habitaciones se limitaba a limpiar la encimera del baño y poco más. No hay absolutamente nada de animación ni por el día ni por la noche. La terraza para tomar algo, que es preciosa, totalmente infrautilizada cuando podían meter más mesas y sillas, que estaban habitualmente llenas. Tienen espacio de sobra pero muy muy desaprovechado. El todo incluido es muy flojito, solo cerveza barata, refrescos básicos y ni siquiera helados para los niños. La ”merienda” de media tarde que sirven en la piscina se agota en 5 minutos y no reponen. Y si sobra, es porque ponen una especie de cruasants rellenos de queso y otros de espinaca que, francamente, no son lo más apetecible. Respecto a la comida, es siempre lo mismo excepto un par de honrosas excepciones. Al hotel le salva su ubicación y cercanía con la capital y las vistas no solo de la costa sino del aeropuerto. Continuamente aterrizan y despegan aviones pero se ven muy de cerca, es espectacular y aunque parezca lo contrario el ruido no molesta demasiado. Ah, ni se os ocurra contratar por medio del hotel la excursión para ir a Paxos y Antipaxos. Se supone que te llevan en un barco agradable, que te vas a dar un baño junto a la cueva azul y vas a playa paraíso y que visitas la cueva. Nada más lejos de la realidad: el barco, era el más viejo y desastroso de todos. Estaba sucio y creo incluso que llevaba más gente abordo de lo permitido, ya que había ”tortas” por quitarnos el sitio unos a otros después de una escala. El baño sí que te lo das, si quieres, tirándote al agua desde el barco y puedes llegar nadando hasta unas rocas, si aguantas la distancia, pero la playa del paraíso famosa la ves a lo lejos. Y la entrada de la cueva a 200 metros, el barco ni se acercó, es decir, no pudimos visitar la cueva. Y sin embargo veíamos otros barcos que salían de la cueva de hacer la visita. Después te sueltan en el puerto y te buscas la vida durante un par de horas. Un desastre. La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, eso sí. Las camas cómodas, y las almohadas también. En cuanto a la piscina, no esperes una piscina de suelo azul como ves en las fotos. Es una pisicina en cuesta, y la superficie del suelo es rugosa hasta el punto de que volvimos mi hija y yo con heridas en la piel de los dedos de los pies. Llévate unas sandalias. La limpieza del agua no nos inspiraba confianza, y aunque veías todas las tardes-noche a un operario vertiendo lo que suponemos que era cloro, a medida que pasaban los días estaba más turbia y nada de aspecto azul, etc. Al de unos días el agua estaba tan turbia que con las gafas de nadar no se apreciaba nada. Al séptimo día de estancia sí nos dio la impresión de que habían renovado o limpiado el agua, ya que olía a cloro, cosa que los días anteriores, no. Hay un par de ducha

My stay for a three day-weekend in May was off to a bad start even before I arrived at the hotel. A somewhat heated email exchange with the reservation team threatening to cancel the reservation if I did not pay immediately, according to the tariff conditions, meant that I had to contact the Guest Relations Manager (Mrs Ageliki KOULOURI) to clarify the situation. It is therefore through this first exchange with her that I can say today that this manager is one of the main assets of this hotel. Not only does she do her job, but she also puts in a dose of tact, delicacy and efficiency. I owe the success of my stay to her. The hotel is very well located, beautifully decorated and the rooms are beautiful. I personally was upgraded to a suite with a magnificent view of the Aegean Sea. The hotel, which opened fairly recently, still has a few glitches that one is less inclined to forgive once the break-in period is over, especially for a hotel of this category. This year, the restaurant offer has been reduced by the presence of Michelin-starred chef Botrini, who has ”ceased his collaboration” with the hotel. I tested the two restaurants Sofrito (Greek and Mediterranean cuisine) and Oribu (North Asian cuisine). The staff in the dining areas are numerous, attentive and eager to help. I found that both the food and wine lists lacked coherence, and sometimes even of the desired wine :). This didn't bother me that much, but I did think that a hotel in this category should do a better job! As for the breakfast buffet (there are several), I found it perfect: a wide selection of dishes, from savory to sweet. The only downside is the lack of teas, at least for tea lovers. The swimming pool, probably one of the most beautiful on the island, is infinity and offers a spectacular view of the sea and the mainland in the distance. Sports enthusiasts will not be outdone by the state-of-the-art gym and equipment. And what can I say about the Spa? Well, it's certainly one of the best treatments I've ever received, and all in a finely decorated, relaxing setting. A big plus and a big thank you to the team. I'll conclude by saying that I hope to return to this resort and that the service will live up to the high standards expected of a 5-star hotel.

Definitely a 3 out of 5 stars for this hotel. The rooms were adequate. A bit cosy, we had no desk to get ready at. However we did have a mini fridge, so pro’s and cons. Our bathroom was okay too, but the shower area needs some work as it was prone to flooding quite easily. We were also had a phone in the room, which did not work due to the faulty electrics at the wall. The food was very disappointing. We stayed for an all inclusive for 5 days, and definitely would have eaten out more if it was within our budget. They have a small selection for the buffet, which was not under heat lamps so lost their heat very quickly, if there was any to begin with. They did have a microwave available to heat up your food. We also saw there was “2” restaurants, however when we got there, the other restaurant was no where to be seen nor mentioned on the information they give you at the desk. You can get discount at the cafe up the road if you stay at this hotel, but found this was quite expensive. Also, there was a lack of actual “Greek food”, there were no olives available in the basic salad area, and the pre-made Greek salad lacked decent ingredients. We also, had issues with ants being IN the orange juice machine. My friend had orange juice 3 different times that holiday and had ants in the drink every time, so was not a coincidence. The carbonara sauce, was extremely plain. The pool snacks, were very poor. It was always plain cakes, with either ham and egg wraps cut into slices, or the same sandwiches cut into 4 squares, on two silver trays. I would recommend stocking up on snacks from the nearest mini shop which is less than a 5 minute walk. The desserts on the other hand, were very pleasant and we all enjoyed these, would very much recommend the chocolate cakes with ganache! The location, as mentioned, is close to the airport. You can see the track from the pool area. This did make it very noisy for both inbound and outbound of planes, we noticed some days had 8+ planes and the next could be 20+ planes. Would not recommend if you wanted peace and quiet. However, we did find it quite entertaining watching them come and go. The terrace, was not open however it was stated on the website that it was. Again, we assumed this was down to weather, but we were not told otherwise. The hotel was separated into two, so we did cross a busy road to get to the food and the lobby, this wasn’t a huge issue for us but I would not recommend this hotel for families with young children, as they do zoom round those corners! The staff, were very lovely. I wish I had gotten more of their names to mention, but David and Melena (I believe this was her name, she usually ran the pool bar) were absolutely brilliant and always had service with a smile. They were very helpful and always ensured we had a good time. There was no entertainment for the evenings, and the lobby was not large enough for the amount of people staying, there was also a lack of sun beds. But put this

Esta breve viaje de tres noches en la isla de Khoijia fue porque no era conveniente llevar a un bebé, así que buscó un hotel de cinco estrellas cerca del aeropuerto, que dice que en realidad es más de cuatro estrellas. La piscina pública no es muy limpia, la ecologización no es buena en general, pero recomendamos la tienda de jarabes, los alimentos frescos estamos muy satisfechos de pagar una pequeña comisión de cinco euros, en Grecia hay mucho, pero también es muy feliz.

Nos hemos quedado en este establecimiento después de que nuestro vuelo fue cancelado y la compañía nos envió. Habla de la sal en la herida. Peor lugar que he tenido la mala suerte de estar en el hotel. La habitación era muy básica para decir lo menos.
