«It’s quite a new hotel. The lobby looks very grand and warm. Everything looks clean, organized and very comfortable. It’s is very close to Sapporo Station. They even have a underground walking path from Sapporo station which is very useful during winter or raining. However, suggest to go there by Sapporo station north exit if it is your first trip follow Google map. The hotel has clean public bath, smart TV and free 2 bottles of drinking water . Also you can access to the convenience store through a side door at the front desk which is very nice. The staff at the front desk is very helpful. Requested for late check out for one hour but was asked to pay 2000 yen which is not welcome. Even with that, I will go back the next few days. Love it.»

«Quería alojarme cerca de la estación de Sapporo porque planeaba unirme a la excursión de un día a Biei y también necesitaba tomar el tren a Otaru, así que la ubicación del hotel era bastante buena, aunque había algunos hoteles más cerca de la estación. «We stayed for 2 nights, and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is 3 mins walk to Susukino and 5 mins walk to 狸小路 with many convenient stores and restaurants around. The front desk staff helped us to check in with the check in machine and the process was fast. We like the beds and room size, and the free flow of Haskap juice throughout afternoon and evening. The drawbacks are the front desk staff have limited English and didn’t understand our request to have a cleanup in our room as we were sleeping late and missed morning cleanup. The nearest airport shuttle bus stop across from hotel abest Sapporo is 4 blocks away and we have to take a taxi around 950yen with luggages to get there in the slushy snow. There are many Thai tourists in both evenings when we went back to hotel so the hotel is quite popular and crowded. Nevertheless the hotel was able to give us a high floor room away from elevators per our request and we had a quiet room which we appreciate a lot. Will definitely consider staying again given the hotel room is a good price!»

«I had a very pleasant stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo. The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station, making it very easy to get around, especially with luggage. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, it was a good stay and I would consider coming back again on my next trip to Sapporo.»

«Probably the best stay in Japan that I have experienced. The location is very convenient for travelers as it is next to the subway station, Higashi Sapporo Station (Tozai Line). The check in counter is open 24 hours and staff is fluent in English. They are very responsive to emails, which is great since we arrived late on the next day because of the heavy snow incident on 26th Jan 2026. The room is spacious for this price, and the amenities are great. They even have saunas. The supermarket, Aeon is right next to this hotel so this is another plus. They also offer free luggage storage. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Sapporo again in the future.»

AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service. The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.  My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely.  The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.  The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic! WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.  House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.  I had access to the executive lounge.  It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.  The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.  The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.  Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.  Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.  To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.  A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.   Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day! Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.  Thank you for a wonderful experience.

UUsuario anónimoThere are some bad experiences that do not recommend this hotel: 1. The price of room will be double during the busy season. 2. The recommendation tax fee would be paid when check in. During our 8-day trip in Hokkaido, this is the only hotel that the tax should be paid before we use the room. If this normal work flow that this hotel states, highly recommended they should think about this. 3. The receptionist has bad attitude. The receptionist kept ask the details about the booked room type especially this happened we have already check in before 3 pm and back to hotel, which I believe they can check the booking information through their computer. In addition, when we did not understand the staff saying, the receptionist is impatient and not willing to explain again and slowly. And this kind of conversation happened twice with same service staff. 4. Due to the location of the hotel, it is noisy that hard to sleep. About 5 + emergency cars went through one night. 5. No service staff guide us to our seat when we have breakfast. Others does.

UUsuario invitadoWe had a pleasant one night stay at the beginning of the trip which made us decide to book one more night towards the end of our trip instead of staying at the airport hotel. Our first night check in was handled by a guy which was great and friendly, he prepared kids amenities for us without us asking for it and offered us 2pm check out (gold status) despite the booking not booked via Marriott direct. Our last night check in was handled by a woman, immediately we felt there's a difference between the two. They offered us connecting rooms for both our rooms, when we asked for our rooms within close proximity, which was granted. No kids amenities, no late check out unless we pay for extension. Hospitality is a hit and miss, I do have another night coming up in June, all done based on my first impression, I'll have to think about it. The carpark is right behind the hotel for 2500 yen. I haven't checked the onsen myself but my parents said it's relatively small. Connecting twin rooms have smaller floor space due to the door in-between, making it difficult to open up multiple large size suitcases.

UUsuario invitadoWe’ve stayed here for 7 nights. Which was a bit longer stay for Sapporo. However as the weather was so bad with heavy snow, so we did enjoy our stays in hotel during the snowy weather. The breakfast is so great and we expect it every morning, as it includes a variety of foods so you always can find something to enjoy. All staffs are very friendly and welcoming, especially two male & senior chefs at ramen and omelette. We also bought spa in our room rate, so every night we did enjoy a pleasant spa( though it’s not hot spring). In front of hotel, there is a small mall - BIVI , which with some good restaurants ,nice cafe (Gentle Bagel) and coop. Even at the heavy snowing days, you have no worries to spend time in. B1 with very practical laundry service , costs are fairly . If you have budget, you can choose only room (without breakfast and spa) plans, which is with very CP, strongly recommended.

I would like to share a small concern regarding my experience at the front desk on March 1, in the hope that it may be helpful for your future service considerations. After checking out from another hotel, we planned a 2‑day, 1‑night trip to Otaru and wished to store our luggage at your hotel beforehand. When we arrived, we were assisted by your staff member, Ms. Hayshi(林）.When we asked whether it was possible to store our luggage, we were informed that storage was limited to one day only. We then explained that we would be returning quite late the following evening and asked if there might be any flexibility or alternative arrangements. However, the response we received felt a little abrupt, including a surprised “Huh?” that left us unsure how to continue the conversation. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable and misunderstood, though we believe it may simply have been a moment of miscommunication. In addition, from the day we inquired about luggage storage until March 4, we noticed that there were still two pieces of luggage stored in the luggage area for several days. We would appreciate some clarification on why those items were allowed to remain for an extended period, as this left us a bit confused about the policy. At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the warmth and professionalism shown by your Assistant Front Office Manager “Faucett mark “during my check‑in. He welcomed me with genuine kindness, clearly explained the procedures and facilities, and made me feel very well taken care of after a long journey. His patience and attentiveness created a truly positive impression, and I hope the hotel will acknowledge his excellent service. We have always appreciated the thoughtful hospitality that Japanese hotels are known for, which is why we chose to stay with you. UUsuario invitadoLa ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de la estación de Sapporo y de la calle comercial Tanukikoji. Hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas de conveniencia cerca. Sin embargo, al entrar en la habitación, encontré algunos granos de arroz en el suelo. Además, el aire acondicionado central estaba muy caliente ese día, así que tuve que pedirle al personal que me abriera la ventana. Mi familia, dos adultos y un niño, se alojó en una habitación doble y quería traer una almohada extra, pero no la proporcionaron, lo cual fue un poco incómodo.
