Booked this hotel last minute as we had to stay one extra night in the city and it was really amazing! This is a hotel I would definitely go back! The lady at the counter was extremely nice and she spoke Portuguese! She was really happy to be able to speak with us in Portuguese and we were happy she spoke Portuguese! The hotel location is really good, downtown near the parliament, and the room was amazing! Really big and spacious studio with a kitchen and a living room. Bed was really comfortable but the sofa bed was not that good (as in all hotels). Toilet was big and had all the amenities. Breakfast was good and had eggs, bacon, fruits, cereals, fresh waffles, chia pudding, bread, … They have private parking at an extra fee but the entrance is really narrow. There’s also street parking around at a fee.

Spacious room with fridge and microwave inside room, with ice machine for quick chill on soft drinks. Facilities are new and in great condition. Good location is another great point for easy access to outlet mall in 15 minutes on road, and just 30 minutes on driving for Ottawa.

This hotel will always remain my go to in the west end off Ottawa. It is always clean and the staff is very friendly.

Great stay. Central location downtown. Comfortable bed and pillows. Felt relaxed and revitalized. Room as upgraded at check in by the receptionist so that was a bonus!

El personal fue amable y el estacionamiento está incluido en la estadía. La habitación estaba limpia y espaciosa. Nuestra habitación tenía un lavabo adicional junto a la cama, lo cual nos pareció un poco extraño, pero no nos importó. El desayuno continental ofrecía muchas opciones, incluyendo una waflera, pan, varios tipos de jugo, café, carne y huevos. También había yogures y quesos disponibles en una pequeña nevera. Consideraría hospedarme aquí nuevamente, dada su cercanía al centro comercial y a la autopista, lo que facilita el desplazamiento por la ciudad.

¡He estado en este hotel varias veces ahora; me gusta lo limpio, tranquilo y bien decorado las suites y el propio hotel! Las habitaciones son hermosas, muy limpias y bien equipadas, como las habitaciones son ellas mismas. Muy feliz y permanecerá aquí cuando mis viajes me llevan a través de esta zona una vez más.

hotel was nice and clean! it’s walking distance to the byward market- only issue is parking if you have a pickup truck the garage parking only accommodates trucks and SUVS on the first floor and if that’s not available you will have to park at the mall parking right across the hotel.

El hotel es un hotel más nuevo y parece más astuto que el precio habitual. Pros: El baño era muy agradable y los baños complimentarios son muy bien. Las habitaciones son muy limpias. La madrastra era muy cómoda y la TV era decente. Cons: Las habitaciones son increíblemente pequeñas y, mientras están bien equipadas, el pequeño asiento ”cabaña” era más forma que función (es decir, más agradable que cómodo). El personal del escritorio frontal parecía muy nuevo y sin escrúpulos sobre los elementos básicos de hospitalidad, como cómo trabajar la televisión en el interior, así como la edad para una respuesta del escritorio frontal sobre cómo trabajar la televisión y el problema ni siquiera se resuelve. No me quedaré aquí ni recomendaría este hotel a nadie que conozca, ya que hay tantos hoteles que pueden elegir en Kanata que ofrecen un mejor servicio, un mejor servicio y un mejor precio.

Where to begin... first of all, when I made this booking, there was no mention whatsoever of HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION beginning every day at 7 a.m. Naturally upon checking in, I'm informed that there is intense construction happening right next door. And yes, it was brutal. I also SPECIFICALLY booked this hotel because there was an option to reserve now, pay at the hotel. Here are some direct quotes from my booking confirmation email: ”You'll need to pay upon check-in at Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” ”Your payment will be handled by Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” and ”Pay at Hotel.” Sure enough, I get there, and the money's already been taken out of my credit card and I owe nothing to the hotel upon check-in. (This matters for reimbursement purposes at the company I work for.) Lastly, I was told when I checked in that housekeeping would be visiting every third day -- that was fine by me. But the very first day, I come back to my room after a long day and someone's been there, replacing towels, removing the minimal garbage in there, etc., which I was not at all prepared for given that I was advised the opposite. It made me extremely uncomfortable because all of my personal effects were left throughout the room, not expecting housekeeping given that I was advised no housekeeping would be coming until the third day. I'll be honest, that creeped me out as someone travelling alone. The staff were apologetic but I didn't find their explanation at all sufficient. (The housekeeping manager and front desk attendant completely contradicted each other.) Overall, such a chaotic stay. Oh, and, the heat in my room didn't work. Had to request a space heater... I mean, c'mon.
