Booked this hotel last minute as we had to stay one extra night in the city and it was really amazing! This is a hotel I would definitely go back! The lady at the counter was extremely nice and she spoke Portuguese! She was really happy to be able to speak with us in Portuguese and we were happy she spoke Portuguese! The hotel location is really good, downtown near the parliament, and the room was amazing! Really big and spacious studio with a kitchen and a living room. Bed was really comfortable but the sofa bed was not that good (as in all hotels). Toilet was big and had all the amenities. Breakfast was good and had eggs, bacon, fruits, cereals, fresh waffles, chia pudding, bread, … They have private parking at an extra fee but the entrance is really narrow. There’s also street parking around at a fee.

This hotel will always remain my go to in the west end off Ottawa. It is always clean and the staff is very friendly.

The location is unbeatable! Situated in the heart of downtown, it's just a short walk to ByWard Market, the Rideau Centre, and Parliament Hill, making it the perfect base for exploring Winterlude. The stay was excellent. While the underground parking entrance is a bit tucked away on Daly Avenue, the unlimited in/out privileges are a huge plus for road trippers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. My only minor critique is the 6”parking height restriction, which might be tight for large Suvs. Overall, a high-quality, convenient choice for any Ottawa visit

Great stay. Central location downtown. Comfortable bed and pillows. Felt relaxed and revitalized. Room as upgraded at check in by the receptionist so that was a bonus!

Nos alojamos en el hotel durante 6 noches. Tuvieron problemas con el registro, ya que la reserva se realizó a través de trip.com, que procedía de *******. Finalmente, lo solucionaron. La habitación era espaciosa y limpia. Ofrecían servicio de habitaciones todos los días, excepto un día que tenían poco personal. La ducha solo tiene media puerta, así que prepárense para salpicaduras. Recomiendo llevar su propio gel de ducha (el jabón que proporcionan es difícil de enjuagar) y champú. Las personas que no pueden dormir con ruido en la habitación deberían considerar otras opciones. Reservé una habitación doble y pagué el total. Cuando me registré, la recepción tuvo que buscar durante mucho tiempo para encontrar mi pedido. Pros: un parking con espacio suficiente (no hay necesidad de reservar en el adelantado). Está cerca de un centro comercial St Laurent. El desayuno está bien. Hay 2 sockets y 2 salidas USB-A en cada lado de la cama. El personal es amigable en general. Cons: A un poco de las atracciones turísticas del centro (a unos 10 minutos en coche). La televisión en mi habitación no pudo ser desactivada (se desactivó automáticamente después de no haber señalado por un tiempo). Había algunas tazas de papel para el café pero no hay otros vasos de vidrio / tazas en toda la habitación incluso para la tostada de dientes, así que tuve que usar tazas de papel para la tostada de dientes (¿Se considera que es ecológico?)

El hotel es nuevo, las instalaciones son decentes y las habitaciones incluso tienen gorros de ducha. El desayuno es normal, pero tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. Fue cómodo y práctico para una familia de tres adultos y un niño compartir habitación. Está cerca del centro de la ciudad y el aparcamiento es bastante sencillo. El único inconveniente es que hay un albergue para personas sin hogar cerca, lo que puede ser un poco peligroso para quienes viajan solos; es mejor evitar pasear solo por la zona.

Where to begin... first of all, when I made this booking, there was no mention whatsoever of HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION beginning every day at 7 a.m. Naturally upon checking in, I'm informed that there is intense construction happening right next door. And yes, it was brutal. I also SPECIFICALLY booked this hotel because there was an option to reserve now, pay at the hotel. Here are some direct quotes from my booking confirmation email: ”You'll need to pay upon check-in at Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” ”Your payment will be handled by Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” and ”Pay at Hotel.” Sure enough, I get there, and the money's already been taken out of my credit card and I owe nothing to the hotel upon check-in. (This matters for reimbursement purposes at the company I work for.) Lastly, I was told when I checked in that housekeeping would be visiting every third day -- that was fine by me. But the very first day, I come back to my room after a long day and someone's been there, replacing towels, removing the minimal garbage in there, etc., which I was not at all prepared for given that I was advised the opposite. It made me extremely uncomfortable because all of my personal effects were left throughout the room, not expecting housekeeping given that I was advised no housekeeping would be coming until the third day. I'll be honest, that creeped me out as someone travelling alone. The staff were apologetic but I didn't find their explanation at all sufficient. (The housekeeping manager and front desk attendant completely contradicted each other.) Overall, such a chaotic stay. Oh, and, the heat in my room didn't work. Had to request a space heater... I mean, c'mon.
