Muy bel hotel pero much d’attente à la réception ainsi que aux Room Service chambre très mal placé nous étions juste au-dessus des ventilateurs de climatisation de tout l’établissement aussi vous distant que le bruit la nuit était désagréable... Por eso nos quedamos una sola noche y luego nos fuimos a Martinez para terminar la semana. Peligros Sobre todo cuando la recepción nos pregunta si la habitación nos ha acordado y que nosotros respondemos sólo no, ni siquiera se trata de hacer un esfuerzo sobre los desayunos que hemos pagado cien euros

Reservamos el hotel por booking, una habitación familiar. Nada más llegar en la recepción no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y los trabajadores estaban sudando. Pedimos aparcar el coche en el garaje y nos cobraron 10€ por haber hecho reserva con booking (si no cobran 5€). Cobran todo por adelantado. Habitación amplia y antigua, con suelo enmoquetado. Cada vez que se cierra una puerta de una habitación se escucha el portazo. El lavabo también antiguo, enracholado blanco. El hotel dispone de piscina. Ojo si vais con niños porque no hay socorrista. Está a 20 minutos caminando de la Croissette y 40 de la iglesia donde está el mirador. A las 12 de la noche empezó a sonar la alarma de la planta. En recepción no cogían en teléfono y la gente empezó a salir de las habitaciones despavorida con lo puesto, al llegar abajo se había apagado la alarma y dijeron que falsa alarma. Era la primera vez en 40 años que suena una alarma en mitad de la noche en un hotel y la única respuesta fue falsa alarma. Fueron los minutos más angustiosos que hemos pasado en un hotel. Desayuno correcto. A la altura de un 4 estrellas: bollería, pan, tostadora, aceite, fruta, bacon, tortilla… la única pega es que el salón donde se desayuna está en la misma planta de la recepción y tampoco funcionaba el aire acondicionado (o no lo ponían). Así que pasamos calor.

We booked a room at the Hotel Verlaine through *********** for a decent price and even received an upgrade upon our arrival. The hotel is really lovely already from the outside and even offers the possibility to park directly at the property. Also on the street in front of the hotel we would have found a parking space without any problems. The hotel is modern, but at the same time beautifully and stylishly furnished. Of course, the central location is particularly fantastic. In less than five minutes we were at the beach and also the main shopping street is reachable in just a few minutes. On our next stay, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Verlaine again (if the room rates are similar).

I just tried writing a review but realized I was not logged in so writing again just in case. Villa Garbo was just perfect and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I was traveling with my niece and my sister. It was our first time in Cannes and we wanted a nice place where we could all stay together. We were originally going to stay in a family suite at Hotel Martinez because we thought it was right on the beach. We discovered though that none of the hotels along the Croisette are actually on the beach, you still have to cross the Croisette to get to them. You also have to rent sun loungers even if you are guest. And you can rent sun loungers without being a guest. We reserved first row sun loungers from Hotel Croisette Beach (you can email them and reserve in advance) and it's a safe easy walk, just under 5 minutes. We were able to get a much nicer place (a two bedroom penthouse) with all the benefits of staying right on the beach. Villa Garbo is has a cool hip vibe. You get the benefit of staying at a boutique style hotel but instead of a small room, you get a beautiful apartment with lots of space to move around. If it's available, I would highly recommend the Penthouse. It was amazing. We got a bonus one night when there was a spectacular fireworks display from a wedding that was taking place nearby. We had the best view in the city from our own private terrace. It was spectacular. I think there are often fireworks in July and August so you might get a treat too!

Un rapport/qualité prix exceptionnel due à l'emplacement (8’ à pied de la plage en traversant les beaux quartiers de Cannes, donc très sûr) et la rénovation récente de tout l'hôtel ! Pequeño desayuno buffet honorable para el precio, personal muy acogedor, 7 pisos, habitación totalmente equipada con terraza para el 7o piso con vistas al massivo de l’Esterel y sobre los techos de los edificios de Cannes, todo comercio de proximidad incluyendo un Chez U y ****** a 2 ́ a pied, y pour remplir le tout un parking souterrain et toutes les sécurités équipées de vidéo surveillance et d’un personnel 24h/24h !

El hotel es muy bonito, es limpio, los receptores fueron todos muy útiles y amigables, el aire acondicionado era un poco débil a veces, pero si lo alcanzas al máximo, funciona correctamente, y la ubicación es también perfecta, la playa está cerca, La estación de tren está a pocos minutos a pie, y sólo puedo decir buenas cosas sobre esto, nuestra estadía en el hotel y en Cannes fue muy grande.
