Hoteles muy cómodos, no es agradable, pero muy limpio y prudente. Recomendación! A 10 minutos del piso de la sala de la ciudad, no puede llevarse un paseo. La ubicación es buena y duerme tranquilo. El inglés no es bueno o puede comunicarse con correo, cobrar autobús, muy sencillo. This hotel is just a 5 min walk to the Queen Street Mall and also very close to the Treasury ******. I arrived at about 2:00pm (the set check inn time), but a large tour group was also trying to check inn. So I let my luggage and came back latter. My room was located on Level 12, and at the back of the building. As the hotel is opposite a construction site, it was wise to have a room facing the back of this building. The view is nothing exceptional - just a small courtyard with taller buildings surrounding the hotel. The room was very spacious with a comfortable sofa-chair and lamp to view the TV (from a distance). The internet was hit and miss. There are two connections. One free with lower internet speeds and another network for $5 with higher speeds. I was given access to the higher speed network for free when visiting the reception for voucher. Some times the internet connection was exceptional but often it dropped out and you have to reconnect several times. The bathroom was very modern and shower was fulled enclosed with glass door, rather than a shower curtain. However, note there are two issues with the bathroom. The toilet is not accustomed too much paper, and was often blocked. (fortunately there is bathroom brush provided to unblock the toilet). Secondly, there seems to be some problem with the drain under the sink, that was letting water in to the bathroom floor. Hap to mop up the wet floors, using towels, which I put over the drain. Despite these problems, I would still recommend this hotel. It represents good value for money in a prime location.

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

The hotel is amazing and very modern. The front desk guy was very helpful and I even struck up a conversation with him about how he was working in Singapore and his experiences there. The room ahead was a two-bedroom apartment and it had everything that we need and it could almost be like a $2 million property back in Singapore. I had everything I need in this apartment and it's very, very modern and beautifully designed. Highly recommended!

Uno de los mejores albergues que he estado en, muy limpio y moderno y amigable, personal útil. Las habitaciones están limpias y se pueden tener todas para usted si se levantan temprano. A pocos pasos del cbd, el albergue ofrece un desayuno gratuito.

Estaba aquí por unos meses para trabajar cerca. Había una gran recepción del personal. muy amable, útil y invitante. Lo que permaneció durante toda mi visita, nada era demasiado difícil, siempre útil. La habitación era perfecta, la vista de la ciudad a la noche desde el balcón era grande. Las instalaciones de la habitación me dieron todo lo que necesito para cocinar y almacenar. La limpieza estaba excelente en toda la propiedad. Estacionamiento seguro. Me encanta pasear por la mañana y esto fue una fácil extensión al río para ejercicio. Creo que incluso me ordenaron el tiempo perfecto. Grande hotel, bien hecho 😊

Stayed here for 7 nights at the beginning of April. Check in was quick and although we requested a quiet room, we were sadly given a room that faced onto a road and the helipad of the children’s hospital. So, the room was rather noisy from the traffic and from helicopter landing and taking off at night. Even with ear plugs on I could still hear the traffic. Room: Room 714 was very clean, it seems the Australian standards of cleanliness is much higher and better than at our previous Marriott stays in Cardiff, Wales and in Edinburgh, Scotland. Housekeeping at this hotel is very thorough at cleaning, as we didn’t feel any dust on the surfaces. My partner is blind and the first thing he does is touch the surfaces to get to know the layout of the room and he was impressed that tables, chairs & walls didn’t feel dusty. The housekeeping ladies always provided us with fresh towels and 2 bottles of water daily, as well as change the bed linen when requested. These ladies (day as well as evening housekeeping) are all lovely and friendly, requests for extra toilet paper, tissues, even slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste were promptly supplied with a smile. The housekeeping team at this hotel should be commended for keeping rooms/bathroom clean to a high standard. Reception: The ladies at reception Jess and other lady (who doesn’t wear a name badge) are efficient when checking people in however, they were not so friendly once you’ve checked in, they both came across as cold, sourpusses. Every day we went past reception and these 2 ladies never smiled or said hello. Once we initiated a hello and got a forced response. The male reception staff at night and on the days when the ladies were off are much better as they always greeted people as they walked past reception. Location: This hotel is perfectly located as it is close to all the restaurants in the Southbank and there’s lots to choose from. It is also about 2 mins walk to Goodwill bridge which connects to the Botanical Gardens. From this hotel everything is within walking distance, we walked to Queen Street shopping mall daily and it took us about 10 mins via Southbank parklands and crossing the bridge. We are not super fast walkers but we found everything in close proximity to this hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Australia next year.
