«Fantastic location - lots of nearby restaurants and small grocery stores, and a 7 minute walk to Sulaimaniyah metro station. The hotel was clean and the staff were polite and helpful, though the room was not routinely serviced and only upon request. Despite some of the reviews, I had no issue with the internet connection and used it regularly for browsing and video calls. The main negative aspect is the facilities - the room was very small with no window. There was no prayer mat provided and to be honest hardly enough room to pray in the room anyway (and the hotel's prayer room in the basement was like a very dirty storage room). The bathroom is a wet room, which is fine, but then the hotel should provide a squeegee mop to clear the water. Even all of this can be tolerated for the reasonable room price, but the lack of a desk or even a chair in the room makes it totally unsuitable for business travellers.»
