UUsuario anónimoEn conclusión, no cumple con los estándares de un hotel de cinco estrellas. La limpieza no era perfecta y el baño estaba insoportablemente sucio. No soy germófobo y no me importa que algunas manchas de moho y agua no se eliminen por completo. Sin embargo, creo que este nivel de suciedad es equivalente a no limpiar nada. También considero que el servicio al cliente del personal debería mejorar. Al momento del check-out, ni siquiera llamaron a los clientes que se movían con equipaje grande. Había demasiados miembros del personal que ni siquiera hicieron contacto visual ni saludaron. ¿Acaso su trabajo es simplemente quedarse ahí parados mirando a la distancia? Me he alojado en varios hoteles de cinco estrellas en todo el mundo, pero esta fue la primera vez que experimenté un servicio al cliente así, y honestamente me sorprendió. Espero que mejoren, en lugar de confiar en la buena ubicación y el nombre de Le Meridien.

Normalmente soy una persona bastante educada y me alojo principalmente en hoteles de cinco estrellas, pero el servicio del Waldorf fue realmente decepcionante.
1. Para desayunar, pedí un panqueque de huevo. No solo tardó una eternidad en llegar, sino que, cuando me lo sirvieron, lo dejaron en la mesa y se fueron; sin exagerar, simplemente lo dejaron allí.
2. Al registrarme, no me ayudaron con el equipaje.
Las instalaciones de la habitación también estaban algo sucias, pero no tomé fotos, así que lo dejé pasar.
Pésimo, realmente decepcionante. Su actitud de servicio era como si les debiera dinero.
En cambio, el St. Regis fue excelente. Me llevaron el equipaje a la habitación y todos fueron muy amables y educados.

También quiero agradecer al personal de limpieza, que limpió mi habitación y me cuidó con esmero. Nada era demasiado y, cuando no te sientes bien, su amabilidad y comprensión fueron muy apreciadas.
No tuvimos tiempo de disfrutar de todos los increíbles restaurantes del hotel, sin embargo, el italiano era excelente, al igual que el egipcio, ambos con un personal y un servicio excelentes.
El menú del servicio de habitaciones es extenso, fácil de usar y la comida muy fresca y sabrosa.
(Si es algo que se puede considerar una queja, deberían limpiar estas bandejas con más frecuencia y no dejarlas fuera de la habitación durante tanto tiempo).
Toda la comida y bebida tiene un precio muy razonable.
El desayuno buffet es extenso, con una gran variedad y Mohamed (chef) prepara una tortilla deliciosa.
El hotel está en una excelente ubicación para acceder tanto a la ciudad como al aeropuerto (servicio de transporte gratuito si es necesario).
No tuve la oportunidad de usar la piscina, pero como estaba en una habitación con vistas al jardín, pude observar y apreciar lo bien cuidadas que están las piscinas y los jardines por parte del personal de tierra.
En general, recomendaría sin dudarlo este hotel Hilton.

Pero este es un lugar conveniente cerca del aeropuerto, ¡excelente servicio! La comida es deliciosa, el bus me llevó al aeropuerto.

Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building.
* Location & Transportation
Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum.
And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price.
In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes
Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones.
Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it.
* Building and room conditions
Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room.
It is quite convenient a washstand in each room.
However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler.
It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel.
* Cleanness & Safety
Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this.
* Services
There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water.
Wifi is too weak to use the internet.
Other services like laundry are satisfied.
* Others
During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally.
In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better.
And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable.
Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel needs to up their game, I was allocated a room at check in which had already been occupied by another guest, you could imagine the surprise of myself and the guest when I tried to open the room at midnight. The reception gave me an upgrade, but the room wasn’t very clean it had stains in a lot of places, packaging of the tooth brush look like they date from the times of the Pharaoh.
