AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service.
The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.
My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely. The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.
The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic!
WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.
House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.
I had access to the executive lounge. It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.
The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.
The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.
Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.
Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.
To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.
A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day!
Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.

UUsuario anónimoHotel's location is very convenient as it is connected to the Underground walkway. Although walking around the downtown on a snowy pavement is awesome too,using the Chika-ho is convenient when you are walking with a 23kg luggage.
Hotel is near Odōri and Susukino so Sapporo City's famous locations are very accessible.
Breakfast is so yum and even serves ice cream. Room has a drip pod coffee maker and that is amazing -- coffee at the warmth of your room.
We'd like to book the same hotel with more family members next time❤️

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel is short distance away from the major sightseeing spots at jozankei, but still walkable distance. That allows a tranquil and relaxing environment which you can truly enjoy the stay and immerse yourself into the nature. The resort is beautiful and room is super spacious. The buffet is wonderful. All the food are very fresh which make you feel very healthy. The onsen are nice. However, I found the temperature of outdoor bath too high. I feel recharged after the stay, both physically and mentally.

UUsuario anónimoTravelled with a group of 3 adults and found it hard to find a room with reasonable price. I emailed in and realise they are open for 3 guest as long as u pay additional fare (5,500/night) for a sofa bed which was reasonable.
I enjoyed the stay throughly especially the onsen facility. I will definitely come back again!

CCindy1274I stayed at Sapporo Hotel by Grandbell for four nights and had a lovely overall experience. The hotel is quite new, and the view from the room was beautiful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
One of my favorite parts was the onsen — they have several different baths to choose from, and it was a great way to relax after a long day out in the cold.
The convenience is also a plus, with both FamilyMart and Lawson located just downstairs.
The only downside is that the hotel is not very close to the JR station. It’s still walkable, but can feel a bit far, especially in winter. One night, I had trouble finding the correct exit at the station and ended up walking quite a long distance to get back to the hotel.
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its comfort, facilities, and relaxing atmosphere — just be prepared for a bit of walking.

MMaritChiongEl hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, a unos 17 minutos a pie del hotel y del centro de la ciudad. Las habitaciones son limpias. La televisión no es sólo una televisión inteligente no podemos ver nuestros filmes favoritos en netflix. La habitación es limpia y escalonada. Sala de baño y ducha separada. El ambiente es grande. Lawson está a sólo 2 minutos a pie. El hotel está muy bien, y me gusta la chica en la tienda de recuerdos que es muy amable. Su desayuno buffet es grande y delicioso. También nos permiten tomar algunos panqueques especialmente cuando estamos en nuestro desayuno rápido para nuestra primera vuelta. Recomiendo este hotel a mis amigos y familia.

UUsuario invitadoOverall experience was good, location is excellent. Very convenient to go to and from New Chitose airport by bus, Susukino metro is 5 mins walk. I like that they have coin laundry, vending machine and public bath in the hotel. Water in the public bath was a little too hot (probably over 45oC) but I guess that's normal to Japanese. The only thing I don't like is that the check in time is stiff 15:00 whether the room is vacant or not, but that's still acceptable.

UUsuario anónimoEverything about this hotel was fantastic! The location is very convenient, with a tram stop and a convenience store just nearby. Getting around is easy, and they even provide a free shuttle to Sapporo Station, which was a lifesaver, dragging suitcases in the snow is no fun at all. It’s also super easy to get to the airport, as the airport limousine stop is right in front of the hotel. Overall, a superb choice for anyone visiting Sapporo!
