Muy cómodo con este hotel en Oakland, la ubicación es buena, justo al lado de la torre del cielo, esta vez no hay coche en Oakland, caminar al mar y el centro comercial es muy conveniente. El hotel es muy nuevo y la configuración de la habitación es también el estilo que me gusta. La higiene también es muy buena, los productos de cama son muy cómodos, y el día está claro. Hay un restaurante rojo en la parte inferior del hotel, y la salchicha es muy buena.

Hemos pasado 15 días en este hotel el trato ha sido inmejorable, todo el personal muy simpático, educado y eficaz y en especial Matias que hemos tratado un poco más al hablar español. La comida impresionante. Nosotros íbamos con un bebé y no hemos tenido ningún problema. La situación muy buena y las vistas geniales.

La pequeña fachada, realmente pequeña, hay que regañarla cuidadosamente, o pasarla por alto, la puerta no es como un hotel de cinco estrellas. El vestíbulo del hotel también es pequeño y el vestíbulo de varios hoteles de Nueva Zelanda es pequeño. Todo el hotel es muy interesante desde la apariencia hasta la habitación. Instalaciones limpias e higiénicas, bien equipadas, muy buen servicio, transporte conveniente, Uber para viajar cerca no es caro, el desayuno es bueno y rico. Una gran experiencia. La habitación estaba muy silenciosa. El desayuno es sencillo pero real. Hay un menú fijo para el almuerzo. Aunque la cantidad es menor, hay entremeses, platos principales y postres. El conserje es muy activo en llevar equipaje y es conveniente tomar prestados paraguas. Lo único malo es que la cama de la habitación doble es demasiado pequeña, se estima que solo mide 90 cm de ancho.

A centrally located hotel within walking distance of the harbour and other attractions. Stayed here for two nights to recover from a long flight before setting off on our New Zealand odyssey. Check in is efficient and our room was on the 23rd floor which afforded views across the city. The room was spacious and clean and the king size bed very comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with good quality accessories and the shower was powerful and hot. Ideal. However, we were close to lift and the whooshing noise when it was in use would annoy some. Breakfast was a little disappointing. The buffet is expensive for what’s on offer and the quality of the food we found average at best. At the time we stayed there was major construction work in progress outside the hotel although we were out during the day so it didn’t bother us.

The staff was very helpful. We arrived very early, so our room wasn't ready. They not only allowed us to store our luggage. They took it to our room went it was ready. So when we returned after exploring the city, all we had to do was check in and get our key. The room was an efficiency. While it had a kitchen, it was missing things such as pot holders and dish drainer. The bathroom and shower were a slip hazard, step up to the shower and no grab bars. Otherwise, the room was large and would have been comfortable for a long stay. They gave us only one key. The key is needed to keep the lights on. So if one of us went out, they had to leave the key, then call up to the room when they returned, because they need a key to run the elevator. If we had been staying longer, we would have asked for a second key. There is a convenience store across the street and lots of restaurants within a block or two.

The main advantage is the location, just off the main shopping area of Queen Street, less than 10 minutes walk to the Viaduct and Britomart areas. Supermarkets less than five minutes walk, SkyCity just up the road, etc. The building itself is nothing flash with a small reception area and two small lifts. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on the 7th floor and the apartment was quite comfortable and had plenty of space to relax. The WiFi worked well. The small kitchen had the basics we needed to have breakfast and prepare a light meal and snacks. One bathroom was an en suite off the main bedroom whilst the other bathroom was larger and contained the washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately we suffered from the construction noise in the street outside which of course is nothing to do with the hotel, but meant we had to sleep with the air conditioning on rather than have a window or sliding door open. There was less noise on the weekend but there was still some construction taking place.

El Hotel Heritage es una gran vieja dama, sus planchas se despertaron y a menudo me despertaron los huéspedes de arriba. La cocina se levantó y inundó la zona de la cena. I will try to be as constructive as possible with my review, but before all that, I will say this was probably the worst hostel I have ever stayed in! If I could give it zero stars, I would. I have stayed in many hostels around the world, and I understand that not all hostels are perfect. You get what you pay for with hostels. But I've never stayed in a hostel so bad that I checked out 2 days early! The roof of the rooms was absolutely disgusting to look at. The ensuite bathroom was filthy as well. I arrived late in the evening on my 1st night, and there wasn't even toilet paper in the bathroom! I had 2 horrible nights of sleep on a horrible mattress, a wafer thin pillow, and a blanket that you wouldn't throw over the back of a couch! On my last night, I actually had to wear a hoodie to keep warm! And when you climbed into the top bunk, if there wasn't somebody lying in the bottom bunk, the bunk beds nearly leaned over! Not exactly safe! You couldn't relax on the bed either it was so uncomfortable! There is no breakfast provided! At the very least, the most basic of hostels will provide cereal and toast! Not here, unfortunately. There are only plugs on the bottom half of the rooms as well, which means you have to plug your devices into a plug on the floor in the middle of the room! In a room full of strangers! And while there are lockers available, they're light, so if someone wanted to pick it up and steal it, they could. A few tips for this hostel: 1: Comfortable mattresses, proper sheets and duvets, and proper pillows. 2: Deep clean the rooms every so often. 3: Charging points that are easily accessible to people on top and bottom bunks. 4: No lights out at 10 pm! While this didn't affect me as I stayed away from the hostel as long as possible until I wanted to go to bed, lights out at 10pm is a load of b******s! Remember, it's a room full of adults. 5: Clean the communal bathrooms and showers! They weren't exactly the cleanest places in the world. Do a deep clean on them every so often. And fix some of the doors on the communal toilets because some of them don't lock. 0/10 guys, unfortunately. This place really needs to get its act together.
