Really clean and tidy room and we had the best night sleep on the comfiest bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location was at the Center of Chester which made everything easier to get too. It was right by the shops and loads of places to eat. Self service breakfast with plenty of choice enjoyed everything and hope to visit again.

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

Nos encontramos en el cuarto de estar debido al ruido del tráfico, que era demasiado caliente y era un baño con discapacidad que significaba que el bañón era demasiado bajo para nosotros. La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable, pero la habitación de la habitación era muy agradable. El hotel en el lado del canal está a pocos minutos del centro de la ciudad y de muchos restaurantes y bares.

Esta visita mi habitación era pequeña. 1 Nivel por encima del suelo, sin ascensor. Por lo tanto, necesito agarrar mi equipaje de 28 pulgadas. Adecuado para la familia al tener acceso a la gimnasia y piscina del Club de Salud Feelgood. Niños nadan 7am a 7.30pm. Muchos parques de coches. Muchos canales de televisión. Excelente desayuno, bella cerveza. Feliz de volver.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and our choice was primarily due to its convenient location and excellent breakfast. It is very close to the airport and very quiet at night, surrounded by farms and grassland. We love the breakfast because it is not a typical buffet. Instead, you can choose from a menu with a great variety of options, all of which taste wonderful. The restaurant's decoration is also lovely, and you will be more than satisfied with the portions. The restaurant staff are passionate, friendly, and helpful. One point to note is that the reception area often has guests around, which is just an observation and neither positive nor negative. The receptionists always do their best and are very nice and professional. However, the room design is a bit outdated.

Handy location for travel to North Wales and an easy drive to Chester. Hotel rooms are dated. We only had one bedside cabinet and lamp in a double room.The wardrobe door was in danger of falling off. Room looked out onto another part of the building. A storeroom or something. No window in en suite. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Breakfast was of limited choice but adequate. The public areas and pool facilities were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

For a normal size breakfast you had to pay extra, the heating was broken in the spa so it was quite cold. The hotel did look a bit tatty in places. Service was lacking, always had to chase the staff members. Lovely building and good location.

Room was clean, although the room had a lot of scruff marks on the walls etc, the bathroom smelt like sewage when we first walked in, but the staff were really friendly.

No entiendo por qué la gente publica comentarios negativos sobre este hotel, tomando fotografías de cualquier marca que pueda encontrar en la habitación. Este es un hotel histórico que cobra tan solo £ 41 por noche para 2 personas. Estas personas que se quejan necesitan una vida, dejen de tomar fotos de una mosca en la pared, controlen que es una cama para dormir al final del día, si quieres el Lowry, ve y paga los precios Lowry. Esta piscina también es mejor que el RADDISON, al lado del aeropuerto, si vas de vacaciones es ideal, o incluso si vas a Manchester, el transporte público, trenes, autobuses, también son fáciles de llegar. Stayed here for one night whilst celebrating a birthday party at a nearby venue. Good that parking is free between Friday 5pm to Sunday evening but they should make that clearer when booking. Room was ok (we stayed in the club room) big space but lacked a safe, a chair and some more hanging space. Only had one hook to hang a light coat and two shirts. This was an issue because I stayed with my wife and we had brought a couple of dresses and a suit to wear which meant we had to lay them on the floor so they didnt crease. Iron and ironing board and hair dryer was included. Lack of a chair meant you had to use the bed to sit down if you wanted to, I tend to use a chair to tie my shoes when wearing a suit, so was a bit of an issue. Bathroom and room was clean, and did the job. The breakfast was a good buffet breakfast and everything tasted nice and fresh. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would stay again despite the lack of a chair and safe.
