Pasé una noche maravillosa aquí durante la víspera de Año Nuevo. El camarero apenas entiende a la gente y los idiomas extranjeros, pero es amigable y bueno en la comunicación. Primero reservé un baño público, pero luego lo cambié a un baño privado cuando había espacio. ¡Mi satisfacción mejoró mucho! El hotel está muy cerca de la estación Hakoyō-Yumoto y el costo del taxi fue de menos de 1,000 yenes. [Fufu Hakone: A Luxurious Mountain Escape] Fufu Hakone is located in the quiet Gora region and seamlessly blends modern comforts with traditional Japanese ryokan hospitality. The property stands out for its unique dual hot spring experiences, providing private balcony baths with clear mineral water in every suite alongside communal pools filled with therapeutic, milky-white sulfur volcanic water. We had a wonderful one-night stay at Fufu Hakone on 28 May 2026, which included a Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. [Getting There] Our journey began with a midnight flight from Singapore, reaching Tokyo at 9:00 AM. From there, we caught the Narita Express and changed to the Tokaido Shinkansen to travel to Odawara, before making our way up to Gora. We arrived at Gora Station close to 3:00 PM to find it drizzling. Unfortunately, local taxis were completely unavailable and we could not find any vehicles on the GO app. Fortunately, we managed to get into the shelter of the tourist information centre. The lady on duty was incredibly helpful, assisting us to call Fufu Hakone for a pickup and directing us to the exact area where hotel shuttle services operate. We highly recommend that you do not attempt to walk to the resort from the station, especially in poor weather. [Arrival Experience] The moment we arrived at the resort, we were met with warm smiles and greetings. We were guided to the reception area located on the second level of the front building and seated comfortably in the lounge, where we were served hot tea. A designated staff member came over to complete our check-in process and then escorted us to our room in the guest building. The level of attentiveness was outstanding. The staff member explained every single detail in the room, including the layout of the suite, the private balcony onsen, the water temperature controls, the television, and the mini-bar, which is entirely complimentary. They also carefully went through our dinner order, taking down all of our personal preferences, likes, and dislikes. [The Suite] Our suite, named 楢の芽 (Naranome), was located on the third level. Rather than trying to describe the beautiful layout in words, I will let the accompanying photos speak for themselves. The room features two super-single beds that are incredibly fluffy and soft, with each bed featuring two plush pillows to guarantee a perfect night of sleep. The resort provided both pyjamas and a two-piece samue yukata for our stay. The pyjamas are strictly for use inside the room, while the samue yukata is intended to be worn when exploring the public areas of the property. [Dinner and Breakfast] Both the Kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were exceptional. Because many of the exquisite dishes feature seasonal ingredients that change throughout the year, please refer to my photos for a visual look at what was served during our stay. [The Ultimate Onsen Routine] To make the most of the dual hot springs, I highly recommend this routine: - Welcome Soak: Start with the light and refreshing clear mineral water on your private balcony to gently wash away travel fatigue before dinner. - Dinner and Rest: Enjoy your Kaiseki meal, then return to your suite to digest comfortably for a few hours. - Nightcap Soak: End the evening in the communal baths. The thick, milky-white sulphur volcanic water melts away muscle tension and deeply relaxes the body before sleep. [Areas for Improvement] While the stay was mostly flawless, there are two minor points to note: - Toothbrush Set: The provided toothbrush set was rather small for my liking. It felt like it took ages to finish brushing my teeth. You should definitely bring your own if this is a concern for you. - Room Attire: The two-piece samue yukata was not comfortable at all. It is not mandatory to wear it around the property, but we chose to do so anyway to fully immerse ourselves in the traditional ryokan culture.

Todo estuvo genial. El tiempo era pésimo, así que nos alojamos la mayor parte del tiempo en el onsen del hotel y quedamos increíblemente contentos con la calidad de los onsen. La cena fue un buffet con algunas opciones interesantes. El desayuno era similar al de otros hoteles, pero con más variedad. Me encantó el sendero de 300 m entre el hotel y la estación del teleférico. Subir y bajar en teleférico fue rapidísimo y fácil. Llovió durante nuestra estancia, así que no pudimos disfrutar de las vistas del Fuji, pero imagino que serían preciosas desde el jardín en un buen día. Los baños son pequeños pero funcionales. Usamos tanto el onsen que nunca necesitamos la ducha de la habitación. Hay una bonita tienda de regalos y cafetería en la planta baja. Cafetera de autoservicio en el vestíbulo. La única razón por la que no le damos una calificación de 5/5 es que solo había una almohada para cada uno. Podríamos haber pedido otra, pero solo nos quedamos una noche y se nos hizo tarde antes de darnos cuenta. Las camas eran firmes, pero me gustaron. Las habitaciones son enormes, en comparación con otros hoteles japoneses.

Limpio, la ubicación es excelente, las comodidades de la habitación son de primera, incluyendo ventiladores Dyson y secadoras de alta calidad. Volveré y lo recomendaré.

El mejor servicio que he recibido. El ryokan nos proporcionó transporte a las atracciones cercanas y también nos recogió cuando terminamos el día. La comida también fue increíble :)

Wonderful 3 night stay at a sleepy seaside town. Easy access via Enoden to Kamakura & Enoshima. Restaurants close around 8 so be sure to have early dinner. Try sweet potato crepes by the beach and beware of hawks swooping in for your food. Nearby up the slope is a small dining and shopping area with a supermarket & fantastic ramen shop. Note to take free shuttle bus from busstop next to station or inclined elevator via banquet hall from main road (or risk having to pull luggages up a steep slope!). Tip if heading straight to Airport. Book Narita Express no. 27 from Ofuna direct to Narita Airport. Simply take an Enoden from Shichirigahama station to Enoshima station. Then, walk to the building behind and take Shonan monorail to Ofuna for a quiet ride with luggages.

Ventajas: El transporte es conveniente, no está lejos de la estación Fujisawa y hay muchas tiendas de conveniencia y restaurantes en la planta baja. La calefacción no funcionaba y la cabecera de la cama estaba debajo de la ventana. La ventana no estaba aislada del frío. Mi cabeza se sentía fría e incómoda cuando dormía. Terminé usando un chaleco fino y dormí de lado. . Conclusión: considerando el precio de menos de 300 yuanes por noche, se recomienda que una persona viaje y se quede.

Las habitaciones son de estilo japonés típico y bastante amplias. Aunque habíamos reservado una habitación con baño compartido (sin ducha), esta disponía de inodoro y lavabo. Nuestra reserva incluía media pensión. El desayuno ofrecía opciones japonesas y occidentales, aunque la diferencia no era muy marcada: la japonesa incluía arroz y la occidental, una rebanada de pan tostado con una textura similar a la de un *pancake*. Las porciones de la cena eran muy generosas; incluso las comidas infantiles tenían el mismo tamaño que las de adulto. No está permitido entrar con calzado al hotel; hay que cambiarse a zapatillas en el vestíbulo, y el personal se encarga de guardar los zapatos. El gran baño público (*ofuro*) también cuenta con aguas termales y por la noche no había mucha gente. Es imprescindible ir al restaurante a la hora reservada, por lo que recomiendo hacer el *check-in* temprano para poder reservar con antelación.

Tuve una experiencia muy agradable y decente en el Hotel Yumoto Fujiya. No solo estaba cerca de la estación de Yumoto, sino que también contaba con una gran variedad de restaurantes donde se podían disfrutar almuerzos y cenas. Fue especialmente significativo para mí, ya que rara vez se ven restaurantes abiertos al aire libre después de las 6 p. m., y tenía muchísima hambre a esa hora. Sin embargo, es mejor reservar con antelación si se decide cenar dentro del hotel. La habitación estaba limpia, aunque no era lo suficientemente espaciosa (aunque es muy común en Japón). El onsen también estaba bien, abierto hasta la 1 a. m. En resumen, fue una experiencia fantástica.

Un hotel agradable en la zona de Minato Mirai, en Yokohama, con una ubicación muy conveniente. Las instalaciones y servicios son muy prácticos. Desde aquí, se puede visitar fácilmente la bahía de Yokohama a pie. También se puede ir a Kamakura y Enoshima en tren local desde la estación de Yokohama.
