We had an amazing stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort! The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning sea views. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The swimming pools, beach, and family-friendly facilities made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast had a good variety of delicious food. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Love the hot spring facilities offered by the hotel, especially when you get to enjoy a private hot spring and pool in the villa! And regardless of where your villa is located, there’s buggy service available 24/7. Yoga among nature was also amazing. A really nice place to relax within nature. HOWEVER, as a luxury resort, I was disappointed with the check-in service. Firstly, there wasn’t a clear indication of where the reception/lobby was, so our driver ended dropping us at the carpark. Once we were within the lobby area, it took a while for the staff to actually welcome us. Unlike the check-in service we saw another family receiving later in the day when they were dropped off at the main lobby, we immediately felt the difference. Btw, the resort should really consider lighting the direction into the lobby at night. Most of our private hire drivers have pointed poor signage/lighting to the lobby. Next, the jungle walk group was too large with only one guide. We could barely hear what the guide was saying at the back, so yes it was merely a walk for us.

Spent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan. They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus. Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

La estancia en Pangkor Laut Resort fue realmente memorable. El complejo estaba bien mantenido y tenía un hermoso paisaje. La combinación de lujo y naturaleza fue lo que me atrajo a venir aquí y pasar una breve escapada de fin de semana. Ofrece un entorno sereno para relajarse en una isla privada e incluso emprender una pequeña aventura, como caminar por una selva tropical. En general, creo que Pangkor Laut Resort es un gran lugar para relajarse, desestresarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Si buscas deportes extremos, multitudes y un lugar para estimular tus sentidos, Pangkor Laut Resort no es para ti. Y es por eso que me encantó mi estancia aquí, nada más que un trocito de paraíso, un entorno tranquilo y mimos.

El hotel se encuentra a unos 20 minutos andado del centro. El personal de recepción y de limpieza es muy amable. Desayuno variado e instalaciones muy limpias. La piscina es grande y muy bien cuidada. Lo único que mejoraría es la temperatura de las zonas comunes. El aire acondicionado está muy alto y hace frío y solemos ser personas que usan a/c y no somos frioleras para nada.

This is my fourth time staying at Beverly Hotel taiping, and I’ve had a great experience every time. The environment is pleasant, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth and hassle-free, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The location is also convenient, as it’s close to Taiping Central. Overall, everything was excellent. Keep up the good work—it’s always a nice place to stay!

Nothing but good things to say about the Bedrock Hotel. We were actually across the road from the hotel itself as we had one of the junior suites, which are in a newly refurbished building. The suites are fabulous, they are very roomy and very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The bathroom itself was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have had recently and the thoughtful addition of a water filter that provides hot, cold or ambient water to order was priceless. The suites do not have kitchenettes (although they do have a small fridge) they do have a coffee machine, cups, cutlery, plates, bowls and even wine glasses in the same cabinet as the fridge, all of which came in very useful. The bed was also super comfortable and the AC worked well too. We had originally tried to book in the Old Town itself but there was limited availability, the Bedrock was a great second choice, as it was just a short 10 to 15 minute walk away and the breakfast was great too.

En primer lugar, quedamos bastante decepcionados porque nos asignaron el Bloque C y la habitación era diferente a las fotos que nos dieron al reservar (sin vistas fantásticas ni bañera como la que se mostraba en la reserva). Además, nuestra habitación daba a la ciudad y había pájaros merodeando por el balcón. Hay tres bloques, y el Bloque C que nos dieron estaba bastante vacío y daba miedo. Al caminar por la zona del hotel por la noche, vimos que solo había unas pocas habitaciones ocupadas. Incluso el ambiente en el Bloque C era inquietante, pero por suerte no había rastro de él, porque si no, nos iríamos inmediatamente. Ni siquiera nos atrevimos a abrir las cortinas, porque era demasiado inquietante, sabiendo que no había muchos huéspedes en el Bloque C. Mi marido me contó que pidió cambiarse al Bloque A unos días antes de nuestra llegada, pero le informaron que no había habitaciones libres en el Bloque A. Al llegar, pedimos cambiarnos al Bloque A, pero nos informaron que teníamos que añadir RM250 por noche porque era el Bloque A. Información contradictoria. Además, deberían llenar la habitación para los visitantes del Bloque A o B, así que no sería tan inquietante. En segundo lugar, los inodoros no están muy limpios, con manchas amarillas. Aunque nos sorprendió la decoración de la cama y el pastel de cumpleaños, el ambiente en el Bloque C es inquietante. Definitivamente no volveré.

El hotel está situado cerca del centro de la ciudad, con habitaciones limpias y camas confortables. Sin embargo, el estacionamiento es alto al nivel 6. El descenso del parque puede ser un poco confuso ya que el signo es demasiado pequeño. El aire acondicionado de la habitación es muy frío, y desgraciadamente no puede ser superior a 25°C, esto es rompecabezas. La piscina está situada en el nivel 7.

Flemington Hotel Taiping is truly a signature landmark, well known for its iconic Taiping Lake view. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing, making the stay especially memorable. The staff are helpful and professional. Special thanks to June and Madam Letchumy for their outstanding service and kindness in helping to recover my belonging that I accidentally left behind after check-out. Their honesty and prompt assistance are very much appreciated. Overall, Flemington Hotel Taiping offers a pleasant stay with a great view and commendable service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taiping.
