Novotel Taiping Perak

This hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained and very clean. Located in the city center, there are no major issues with food and drinks. The breakfast is also plentiful. Taking a morning walk from the hotel around Taiping Lake (about 6km) and back is a real treat. The parking lot is on the 6th floor, which is a bit inconvenient. The bottled water provided by the hotel is a bit outdated; they should cooperate with a local mineral plant to provide local bottled water. Overall, it's a decent hotel, but the price is a bit high, but in Taiping the selection is limited.

Novotel Taiping is strategically located at the heart of Taiping Lake area. Connected with the Taiping biggest mall.

I recently stayed in a Premier Room at Novotel Hotel Taiping and had a satisfying experience overall. The location is fantastic, and the highlight of my stay was definitely the view from the Premier Room, which looks directly out over the beautiful Taiping Lake Gardens. The room itself was clean and comfortable. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet—it was quite good and featured some unique menu items, like getok ubi, which was a nice local touch! However, there were a couple of downsides. The water pressure from the toilet pipe was very low, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, despite the room having a smart TV, entertainment was limited to just local channels—there was no access to Netflix or YouTube.Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay with scenic views and good food, but fixing the water pressure and upgrading the TV options would make it much better.

It took be about an hour to queue to check in although its only 3 or 4 customers in front of me. I booked a superior king bed room, however I was given a twin bed room even though it questioned it during check in with the staff name goure ji, she confirmed its a king bed room and asked me to ignored the category. Based on advertised and pictures on official website, there was a small sofa in the room. But it was not available. It was really a disappointment.

Many times returned customers. Popular hotel and fully booked out even paid extra bed:( Strategically located - walking distance to lake garden, Siang Malam hawker center and Larut Matang. The bed is very comfortable.

Checked in at 2pm, room had an amazing view of the city and hills. Concierge was friendly and thorough, explaining free parking facilities and Taiping Mall accesibility. Even tried the house burger. A definite repeat

The hotel is in a very strategic location, opposite a food court, within walking distance of Taiping Lake Garden, and adjacent to Taiping Mall. Complimentary parking is available for guests at the multi-level car park, but spaces may be limited during peak periods, such as the Taiping Half Marathon. It took almost 45 minutes to check in, so I hope the hotel will improve the system and check-in process.

Convenience location. Close to most of the attractions. Kids enjoy the facilities and with a big bathroom

Good location. Walking distance to all eat places. There are delicious and famous Yong tau foo just opposite the hotel. The staffs are so friendly.
