Inside the Stirling university which is a nice and quiet environment, but it requires travelling to the city centre. There is no restaurant which opens for dinner except that in the hotel.
The original room on ground floor given to us has a strong odour smell, which did not disappear after cleaning by housekeeping team. The reception initially refused to change the room. Only after we insisted then we were given another room on the first floor, but it wasted us almost 1.5 hour in waiting.
Otherwise, everything is very good including the excellent breakfast.

Lovely hotel and delicious food. We loved the location and the pool area and facilities. Only issue we had was the heat. It was particularly mild for November and the staff weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We were given a dusty and broken fan to combat the heat but sadly no one came forward with an apology when we brought it to staff that we had to leave the window open wide all night to try combat the heat. I know it wasn’t the individuals fault but good customer service would apologise to the customer and none of the 4 staff we spoke to about it offered an apology and they seemed disgruntled about it too.

El hotel cuenta con aparcamiento gratuito, lo cual es muy práctico.
Gasolinera y Morrison cerca.
El personal es amable, pero lamentablemente molestamos a la chica del desayuno porque nos quedamos a desayunar después de las 9:30.
La habitación es bastante pequeña, pero limpia; no hay suficiente espacio para abrir nuestras dos maletas. Una habitación más grande sería perfecta.

El personal era muy amable y servicial. La habitación estaba muy limpia, grande y acogedora.
La cama era cómoda, pero la ducha era terrible, tenía baja presión y una temperatura que cambiaba constantemente y que podía hervir sin previo aviso. Fue el único inconveniente ya que la ubicación, el personal, etc. fueron excelentes y regresaría y lo recomendaría.

附近有超市、加油站，免費停車，很多停車位，很方便。去stirling castle很近，10分鐘的車程。我們到達格拉斯哥機場比較早，11點就到了酒店，但不給我們提前入住，行李衹能先放前台。本來坐了十幾個小時飛機，想去酒店好好洗個澡睡個午覺再出去玩，但這個酒店不願意讓我們提早入住。

We were treated like royalty at the Hotel Colessio. The Bruce Suite was a perfect and luxurious place to spend my memorable birthday night. The welcoming staff were attentive, sweet, and helpful. It was so convenient to walk to sites we wished to tour. The bed and amenities led us to a good night's sleep and we savored the delicious breakfast. We have wonderful memories of Hotel Colessio!

The staff are quite friendly and nice.
The location is... a bit hard to say. If you are a nature lover, u probably enjoy the walk in the neighborhood. There're hills and nice houses nearby. Around 5 min walk from the hotel, there's a nice track called Strathblane Railway Path.
But if you want to get to the city centre, and you can't drive, you can only get there by a bus which is 50 min ride (note that it's 1 to 2 hour frequency). I waited for the bus at the buschanan bus station on Saturday at 7pm (it's scheduled at 7:10pm) and the bus went missing. I asked staff at the bus station and they told me to find the help desk but it was closed and the hotline was also shut down. I waited for the next bus at 8:35pm and luckily it did arrive.
So make sure you check the bus schedule if you are going for a tour/taking train in the city centre!!!

JJonathanNice pub and rooms, ideal stopping off point travelling up north near Stirling. The restaurant is good, with reasonably priced classic pub food and selection of beers. Unfortunately we left too early to have the full Scottish breakfast which was included.
