El DoubleTree de Hilton Dunblane Hydro está situado en una ubicación muy única y pintoresca, rodeada de hermosos paisajes y un montón de encanto. El edificio y los terrenos históricos añaden a la experiencia general, dandole un carácter que no se encuentra a menudo en los hoteles modernos. En este sentido, me di cuenta de algunos pequeños detalles que podrían mejorar la experiencia de los huéspedes algunas de las instalaciones típicas del hotel estaban desaparecidos, como la cuchilla básica y las tazas de lavabo de boca en la habitación. Aunque no son cuestiones importantes, es algo que yo hubiera esperado en este nivel de alojamiento. En general, la estancia fue agradable gracias al ambiente y a la atmósfera, y con un poco más de atención a esos detalles, podría ser una excelente experiencia en todo el mundo.

Inconvenient location and nice staff The staff are quite friendly and nice. The location is... a bit hard to say. If you are a nature lover, u probably enjoy the walk in the neighborhood. There're hills and nice houses nearby. Around 5 min walk from the hotel, there's a nice track called Strathblane Railway Path. But if you want to get to the city centre, and you can't drive, you can only get there by a bus which is 50 min ride (note that it's 1 to 2 hour frequency). I waited for the bus at the buschanan bus station on Saturday at 7pm (it's scheduled at 7:10pm) and the bus went missing. I asked staff at the bus station and they told me to find the help desk but it was closed and the hotline was also shut down. I waited for the next bus at 8:35pm and luckily it did arrive. So make sure you check the bus schedule if you are going for a tour/taking train in the city centre!!!

Estaba un poco preocupado después de leer las críticas, pero después de registrarme fue mejor de lo esperado. La primera opción es que hay cientos de casas antiguas cerca, que tienen mucho ambiente. Gira a la izquierda 50 metros arriba y verás una antigua prisión a 100 metros está la iglesia y 200 metros más adelante está el castillo. En segundo lugar, la higiene de la habitación también es buena y no hay ningún olor peculiar. Luego, en cuanto a instalaciones, están las piscinas, piscinas de aguas termales y saunas. El desayuno es generalmente de tres estrellas porque no se proporciona queso. Por último, el servicio también es bueno. Al hacer el check-in, introduzco la matrícula para garantizar dos días de aparcamiento. Todo lo demás también cumple con los estándares de cuatro estrellas.

Lovely hotel and delicious food. We loved the location and the pool area and facilities. Only issue we had was the heat. It was particularly mild for November and the staff weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We were given a dusty and broken fan to combat the heat but sadly no one came forward with an apology when we brought it to staff that we had to leave the window open wide all night to try combat the heat. I know it wasn’t the individuals fault but good customer service would apologise to the customer and none of the 4 staff we spoke to about it offered an apology and they seemed disgruntled about it too.

We are a couple and booked for a double room but given 2 singles room. Only found out when we went into the room. Went back to reception to show booking made for double, only then we were informed that there was no availability. We would have appreciated if this was made clear during check-in rather than finding out by surprise (with disappointment) and having to go back to reception to clarify.

Comfortable stay, hotel a bit dated but clean and functional, staff mainly friendly, issues at breakfast with staff working really hard but not able to keep up with food replenishment, told by manager to use a paper cup as no clean cups available, had to ask twice for coffee machine to be filled with milk. Reasonable choice of breakfast items, unfortunately no pastries though. Good amount of free parking available, staff clearing and cleaning tables friendly and hardworking.

A good room and well worth it’s money (compared to the prices you have to pay for an accommodation in Edinburgh)! We had our own kettle, tea and coffee in our room, also the breakfast and the restaurant was great! The only flaw was that it was so far away from the city center and there aren’t many buses stopping near the accommodation, I should have researched that better. Besides that we had an amazing stay and I can recommend this place!

La habitación era grande y limpia y la recepción del escritorio delantero fue agradable y útil. El salón y las áreas de comedor del hotel eran grandes y brillantes. El decoro fue asesinado y datado con un uso extenso de tela y papel de pared horrible en todas partes. El diseño de la válvula de mezcla de ducha extraña ha dado lugar a que el baño se llene muy rápido cuando se toma una ducha. La puerta de la habitación no tenía un mando/latch/lock adecuado para la privacidad y sólo estaba cerrada con un magneto. Todos los demás habían improvisado y aparcado donde pudieran encontrar un lugar en el coche, en la hierba etc ... El personal de recepción indicó que el router era probablemente ”descargado”. El router se reinició pero no ayudaba. No había caídas físicas de LAN en la habitación. Pagamos 20 libras por un desayuno que no existía en el primer momento (estilo de bufete - casi vacío a vacío calentadores). Cuando entramos en la zona de comedor, había pocos, pero muchos ...mayores mesas cubiertas con platos sucios, cuchillos, etc ...Después de una comida de espera ampliada se abrió. Las ofertas de comida reales estaban bien cuando aparecen, pero muchos artículos fueron recalentados artículos preenvasados y casi no había opciones calientes (fruta, yogurt plano, etc ...).

A very nice boutique hotel located in the city centre with tourist attractions nearby. My request for a quiet room at the end of hallway was kindly met. Tea, coffee, bottled water and cookies were provided in the room. King size bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

I really loved my stay The Allan Park. Such a nice cozy homie place. Very spacious room that has everything you need, staff is really helpful and friendly, cozy lounge room with a fireplace. The only thing I would suggest adding is the hook on a bathroom door for a towel. Would love to stay here in future and highly recommend for anyone.
