El hotel está muy bien situado a una distancia de paseo a muchas atracciones. Está justo al lado del templo Kaiyuan. El personal del hotel fue muy útil y amigable. Permitieron el check-in temprano y el check-out tardío para acomodar nuestro horario. El hotel está en una situación de gran calidad, pero no se encuentra en una situación de gran calidad.

El desayuno es gratis siempre con la reserva y aunque es todo muy comida china, algo occidental encuentras, como huevos, algún tipo de embutido, pan, ...etc. Ah y unas vistas impresionables desde nuestra habitación. También tiene un bar en el que puedes tomarte un buen café o una copa de vino y las vista son increíbles. Repetiremos siempre qué nos encontremos en Shenzhen.

One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a feast for the senses with its impressive variety, featuring flaky pastries, fresh fruits, hearty Western dishes, and authentic Chinese cuisine. Yet as much as we saw and did, we couldn’t escape the feeling that two days weren’t enough. There were still so many rides to try, shows to watch, and corners to explore. As evening fell on our second day, the soft glow of lights reflecting off the water created a scene so enchanting that we wished time could slow down. Returning to our comfortable room that night, we knew one thing for sure: we would come back. This trip wasn’t just a getaway; it was a meaningful experience that deepened our appreciation for shared family moments and rekindled our sense of wonder. The combination of luxury, comfort, and adventure made Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel and Ocean Kingdom stand out as one of the most memorable destinations we’ve ever visited. Door lock PW changes daily but did not pre-advise leading to being locked-out. Located in a mix-use building and so hard to find if you were not advised beforehand what and where to go. Cleanliness: Messy check-in lobby. Rooms cleanliness so-so with hair and roaches found in sink. (See pix) Room: Booking title says facing Lakeview but small print says city-view. Wasted on upgrading. Duplex room with narrow stairs making it challenging for elderly. Facilities: Washing machine located in room. Value: Will not come back. There are better alternatives. Key considerations: (Wifi, hot shower, air-con, hygiene and service). Wifi and hot shower are okay. Air-con, hygiene and service are below par. Comments: This is not a hotel. Neither is it managed like Airbnb where host will do their best to communicate with guest. Hygiene and service not up to standard. Mix-use building seems to have a number of Airbnb-type operations, delivery personnel, retail, F&B shops and offices so people are in and out of building at all times yet there is no security personnel at lift lobby.

I had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza Chao Zhou Riverside because of its strategic location for Guang Ji Qiao lighting show from my window. The staff were friendly and attentive, namely Miss Jenny Zhang, who served us promptly at the counter. Another guy, Mr Tom Fang,   took hiring and calling for the 'Didi travel' to and fro for our dinner. Moreover, Mr Jason Chen,who is the 值班经理 also acted friendly, deligent, helpful, and professional in his  services for our stay and tour. In fact, we appreciated it very much for such a warmth hospitality. Besides, the room was clean and conducive, and the facilities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere here. Thank you for making our stay pleasant and memorable. We look forward to returning soon and introduce to friends and relatives as well.
