Hoteles de 2 estrellas en Otago, Nueva Zelanda

Great location with beautiful lake views, and only a 10-minute walk to the town centre. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean and were constantly being serviced by staff. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was appalling. The bed sheets had obviously not been changed before I checked in, with numerous strands of hair from different previous guests left on the bedding. This isn’t a minor housekeeping oversight—it’s a basic hygiene failure. It’s hard to understand how a room could be considered ready for a new guest in this condition. The contrast between the clean shared facilities and the unacceptable state of the bed was astonishing.

We arrived in Queenstown by car very late. This was the only hotel that answered our call after 10 PM and said check-in was possible at any time. The hotel is right in the center. There are a lot of young people who came to have fun in Queenstown. There are free parking lots near the hotel in the evening and at night. During the day, you can only park there for half an hour. So we had to wake up at 8 AM to move the car to a free parking lot further away.

Leviathan Hotel is a classic hotel with a nice interior of the common areas (wooden stairs, old fashioned furniture etc.) and an old style elevator and keys for the doors. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My rooms is in the small side and if your want a super new and spotless hotel this one is a little bit old and worn which is part of its charm.

We enjoyed our stay for one night. They have enough kitchen equipment to stay for a week. Everything is super clean. We liked home baked afternoon tea which makes warm welcome. We wish we could stay longer.

Feel so comfy to stay at here, loved the room decorations and especially the massage chair in public area, that was heaven after a long drive!! They even got a bidet in the bathroom hahahaha
