I wish I could say our last 24 hours here have been great, but I can’t. On Wednesday when we needed to extend our stay someone from the front desk, put a reservation in for us, called us back and told me that the reservation was completely taken care of and not to worry. My keys were waiting for me at the front desk when I got back from working that night very late probably after midnight we already had the keys. I went to the room and went to sleep when I went to work the next morning and later in the day I received a phone call from Leighton, giving me a very difficult time about extending my reservation for the next night telling me that the previous night had not been paid for and it was $141. When I tried to tell him what I had already been told there was no listening to what I had to say and what I had already been told. He told me that I had to come to the front desk immediately and pay for the previous night as well as pay for that night. I was already working close to an hour away and told him that that was impossible. I told him that I would go online and make the reservation for that night, but I could not deal with anything with the previous night until I returned. He told me that I had until 8 o’clock otherwise he was canceling that night’s reservation. He was beating me repeatedly. He did not want to listen to what I had to say. He was so awful to deal with. I could go on and on. When I returned, it took me until past 1 o’clock in the morning to get the entire issue straightened out because I had not been told that whoever made Wednesday night‘s reservation had also booked one for Thursday night as well and they expected me to pay for two nights totaling well over $200. I certainly was not going to pay for a second night, knowing that I had already previously booked a reservation online, of course at that hour, Leighton was nowhere to be found, and certainly he was not answering his phone or his text messages. They were threatening to cancel my reservation, leaving myself. My two children stranded for the night, They were changing shifts to any people had things to say there was too many people involved. I was getting too many and too much different information. This was just way too much for me to handle. I was told that I needed to pay one price somebody else that I needed to pay a different price I was told I needed to pay something else. It was just way too much and too many people were involved. Finally at 1 o’clock in the morning, I paid the $92 I was able to check into my room and go to sleep. The next day, I was then told that I was not able to make a reservation to extend my stay further and I’m only allowed to make reservations for one week at a time. Nowhere have I been told that I have to make reservations one week in advance for seven days at a time I have stayed at Marriott residence Inn before and never have I had to make reservations for seven days at a time, but I was told the manager can put that rule. into effect. what happens if I only want to stay here for five more days? Do I still have to pay for seven? I don’t know, regardless we had a broken dishwasher in our room and they thought it would just be easier instead of repairing the dishwasher to make us change rooms and move us from one end of the hotel all the way down to the other

El hotel era muy agradable y la habitación se sentía como en casa. No me gustaba que no me dijera si la habitación tenía ducha o tubo incluso después de poner la edad del niño. Es un poco frustrante porque es un poco difícil lavar un 3 años de edad en un duche. La habitación no fumaba, pero la habitación huele a fumadores viejos, así que limpié muy bien para sacar ese olor que no era demasiado malo. No creo que sea una persona media o media, pero no es una persona de los pueblos. Su actitud era muy ruda y seca y cortada. Al preguntarle algo nos hizo sentir que la molestamos y nos mentía sobre la habitación que nos puso en. Aconsejo que contacte con el hotel o con quien estés reservando ciertos detalles porque esto ocurrió dos veces escogiendo una habitación que’’ disponible según puede ser dando con cualquiera independientemente de la edad del niño.

El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el centro de la ciudad. WiFi y ubicación son definitivamente 10/10 para mí. Mi primera pregunta fue con el refrigerador no funciona, redujo el tiempo a la configuración más baja posible pero nada cambió y notificé la oficina delantera y dijeron que enviarían a alguien para comprobar en una hora y esa persona nunca aparecería yo no Si llegaban mientras estuvimos fuera, pero cuando volvimos, el refrigerador estaba todavía caliente. El sistema central de refrigeración/calentamiento hace un ruido extraño cada vez y luego, y mantuvo despertado a mi hijo.

La ubicación era excelente para nosotros! Las habitaciones estaban limpias y las camas y las cucharas estaban muy cómodas. I recently stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn for 4 nights and 5 days, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. The rooms were great — clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The hallways were absolutely amazing, lined with bookcases and cozy seating areas, all surrounded by fascinating history that truly made the Inn feel special and unique. The mocktails at Triplets were delicious, and the coffee at the café was just as impressive — such a treat during our stay. We were in town because my daughter danced at THON, so we were coming and going at all hours. It was incredibly comforting to be somewhere that felt so safe, welcoming, and conveniently close to everything we needed. Every single staff member was absolutely incredible. I never once arrived or left without someone opening a door for me — that level of attentiveness and hospitality does not go unnoticed. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. I do need to especially mention Claire. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, she made our stay so comforting. When my flight was canceled, Claire went above and beyond to ensure my son and I were taken care of. She helped us navigate our travel changes and made a stressful situation so much easier. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Thank you for making what was already a meaningful trip even more memorable. We will absolutely be back!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Decent for price point.

Room was good stay for the night, however, the trip.com site did false advertise of pool at facility which was a huge reason on booking this hotel for the night. My family expectation to swim in a inside pool were crushed to oblivion when we found out not only is there not an indoor pool but to be told there was not a pool at the facility at all since they been open as of December 2025. I was told this by the female attendant on July 18th, 2026 at 9:48 am who was not at front check in counter but gossiping in the buffet breakfast area with another worker and a guest. She was very nonchalant about assisting me and my concerns, when I approached her after waiting for over 6 minutes at the counter and searching for whoever is working the front desk. I asked her what time is check out and if I could get a partial refund due to false advertising of pool and she said that I would have to contact trip.com or whomever the third party I booked with for it is not her concern nor does she deal with third party websites/companies WHILE storing her coffee or tea and not making eye contact with me in a condescending tone. Would I stay here again no, because of rude front desk staff.
