Потрясающий отель. В номере есть все необходимое. Рядом море😍 с другой стороны красивое озеро. За отелем есть остановка автобуса, удобно добираться от станции. Вокруг много кафе и ресторанов. Есть 7/11. Спасибо за гостеприимство 🥰

The place is very close to both the beach and the lake, which is great. The location is not very far from the bus stop. I also love the actual rooms since it was very clean. Overall, great place for great price.

The hotel was great. Perfect location. Front beach and a lot of seafood restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff in reception are nice. We were greeted politely and was given a complimentary chocolates for the nye which we thought a very sweet and nice gesture. The room is big and clean. Comfortable bed. We will definitely stay here again in summer.

En la playa, es agradable. El desayuno y la cama estaba bien. Pero no hay cortina para la ventana, la luz me impidió dormir bien. Otros camaradas estaban ruidosas y apagar las luces en la mañana temprana, tan desrespetuoso !

The room is as the photo shown. Location is right next to the beach and is walking distance to the bus station. Hotel have a team helpful receptionist who tried to help us to make a few call during our checkout!

El hotel está situado en el centro de Gangwon, cerca de la Universidad de Gangwon, y no hay ascensor. Es un buen lugar para dormir barato.

The hotel room is very big, spacious and clean, opposite is emart and daiso, olive young so location is quite convenient too, walking distance to bus terminal. Room equipped with cutlery and utensils like cups and bowls. Tea leaf and coffee capsule is provided too. The TV is big and sofa/ bed are very comfortable , highly recommend this hotel. The only downside is there’re no front counter for hotel services and check-in/check-out or any luggage storage services. You can only check in automatically by room password on 4pm. The hotel name wasn’t show in anywhere and the hotel actually located inside mari vista hotel, so we were looking for the access to room for a while.

I’m from New York and traveling Korea and Japan for 100 days. Alone. Last time I visited Gangneung was 44 years ago and this town changed surprisingly. ‘Hotel The Shap’ was located pretty close to main station ( reason why I picked this place) and will see the rooftop signboard on the top of the building from front of the station square. Fairly enough clean room and large bathroom and most of all, friendly desk. Clean up teams are friendly and cooperative as per your request. Price was very much reasonable also. I recommend to other fellow travelers and will come back if I come to Gangreung in future. Thanks for kindness of lady owner.
