La habitación y el baño estaban limpios y amplios. La habitación estaba calentada, Netflix, comodidades para una estancia cómoda. Como vi, hay un desayuno gratuito por la mañana para los huéspedes (excepto el lunes), así que no pude probarlo, pero estaba absolutamente satisfecho con la habitación.

¡Planeé un viaje de dos días y una noche a Sokcho para una escapada de principios de primavera en marzo! Dudé mucho sobre dónde alojarme y, después de pensarlo bastante, elegí el Around Hotel Sokcho, ¡que está cerca de la playa de Sokcho! El aparcamiento era cómodo y la ubicación era genial, ya que podía ir andando a la playa de Sokcho. En particular, aunque era una habitación doble, tenía dos camas individuales, así que dormí muy a gusto. ¡Incluso tenía unas mesitas y cojines monísimos! Fue un alojamiento encantador en Sokcho con un toque moderno.

The room is spacious, has 2 bathrooms and toilets make usage convenient for a family. We stayed there because we went skiing in Elysian so it’s 15 min drive. I don’t think it’s very accessible by public transport. Interior design is a bit strange, combining colorful and traditional wooden bulky furniture, the wall is painted black and there is only one small window in the big living room so the feeling is dark, and the led light hanging on the second floor fence don’t work. So I would say facility and hygiene is just ok , but the price kind of explain this, so it’s acceptable.

The hotel has a great location right in front of Naksan Beach (a great beach - lots of white sand). There are restaurants and supermarkets close by and it is a quick taxi ride to the Yangyang airport and Yangyang bus depot. Staff are efficient and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel seems to have been newly renovated and the rooms, passages and common areas are newly carpeted and newly painted. There is a small gym and laundry room available for use. Most guests seemed to stay only one night which seemed strange, given the great location. The only thing that could be improved upon is some basic facilities in the room. There is no cupboard (although there is enough space for one), only one chair (and its fairly uncomfortable at that) and no furniture on the balcony - we really wanted to sit on the balcony and look at the sea in the evenings, but there is nothing to sit on. At the time that we stayed there (October 2024) there was quite a bit of construction noise as there are hotels being built on either side of the Naksan (although this is not the fault of the hotel itself).

It was a really nice stay! Since the room was quite affordable for a 3-day vacation, I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be much better than I expected, especially for the price. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was peaceful and had a charming village atmosphere. Each room has a table outside, so we were able to have dinner and relax on the porch in the evenings, which was a lovely experience. The accommodation is a bit farther from Mukho’s city center, but it was definitely worth it for the price. It was also easy to get a taxi whenever we wanted to go into the city. Basic amenities such as shampoo, body wash, and towels are provided, although you may still prefer to bring your own toiletries for personal comfort. There’s also a shared microwave available, and each room comes with its own refrigerator. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and a big part of that was thanks to the owner. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel very welcome, and I would happily stay here again.

To be honest.. all's good. Just 2 mini grumbles.. 1. I suppose because they do generally allow their guests to smoke in the room, i can still smell the tabacco lingering. Not the best smell through the nights there. 2. No lifts. Thankfully my luggage is not heavy this round so its still manageable else i could foresee an issue lugging it up and down the stairs. Now.. the pros..! 1. It is very clean. Bathroom attached which its great. 2. Room size is okie for 2. Has tv, wifi, lots of plugs.. facial care as well actually.. and a rather nice-smelling diffuser. Spacious even, to put 1 luggage. Theres a heater and aircon unit ( of cuz not needed in this winter season) 3. Bathroom is spacious. There's towels provided. Shampoo, bodywash and toothpaste even! Abundant hot water. 4. A stone throw away from the bus terminal. Less than 5mins walk. Loads of eateries, cafes and even a diaso. Oh and the market. 5. Small town.. so everywhere's walkable. Quiet, slow-paced town. Awesome to chill here.

I had a wonderful stay. The people who run it are so friendly. the location is fantastic, I could see the beach from my window. It is a hostel with things that you expect from a hostel, such as other guests being a bit noisy with suitcase zippers, but the hostel itself is great.

We were pleasantly surprised at the location and quality of the hotel! It was so affordable for the size, and we loved how it was right in front of the beach. Getting around from there was easy, as there were a lot of taxis that passed by. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
