We had a great stay here! The building itself is older, but it’s very obvious that the hotel has been newly renovated. Everything felt clean and fresh , the room was spacious, the furniture looked brand new, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights for our family was the game room, which was perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The amenities were also excellent, and the customer service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. A huge bonus was the free EV charging, which made our trip even more convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the care they put into every detail. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The view from the window was absolutely beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Great value for money — everything felt just right. We were 100% satisfied.

Overall, it is a pleasant hotel for a short stay in downtown. Despite the Karma Lounge currently being under renovation, the hotel arranged a room dining service for breakfast as an alternative, which is acceptable and yummy. The hotel staff are helpful and kind. The location is close to down town, 5 to 10 minute walk to Robson Streetfor shopping, 1 block away has a supermarket and some nice reastieant eg The keg steak house.

I am almost a month late in writing this review, but I would still like to give a heartfelt shout-out to the wonderful team at Fairmont Gold. Prior to our stay, we had informed the hotel of our late arrival outside the usual check-in hours and included some questions regarding Fairmont Gold services and benefits. Unfortunately, our follow-up email was overlooked, which led to some miscommunication during check-in. However, the customer recovery service was truly top-notch. The team handled everything professionally, responded swiftly, and resolved the issue efficiently — a level of service that truly reflects the standards we expect from a premium Fairmont Gold experience. We stayed one night in Fairmont Gold, and it was an absolute dream stay, especially for aviation enthusiasts. The views were perfect, and the Gold team’s service was exceptional. What impressed us even more was the Manager’s follow-through. He personally took the initiative to look into what had led to the miscommunication and came to apologise to us later in the day. During our stay, one of us was also feeling unwell, and when we happened to meet him in the lobby, he remembered us from our earlier interaction and kindly offered to assist by arranging some medicine for us. These thoughtful gestures truly reflected the genuine care and attentiveness of the team. Thank you, Fairmont, for turning what started as a small hiccup into a memorable stay. The premium paid for the Fairmont Gold experience was truly worth every penny, and we sincerely appreciate the hospitality. We look forward to returning again.

Firs of all, the receptionist was very friendly and had a big smile on her face during both check-in and check-out (it was the same lady), warm and nice lobby. Second, the room was smaller than I expected, smaller than what the website showed but it was clean. Third, when I arrived it was almost impossible to find a parking spot (see pic 4) because there were several hotels in the same area. I had to wait in my car for about 20 minutes until someone finally left so I could park and check in. Fourth, hotel parking is quite expensive $34 per night for self-parking and $39 for valet. The underground parking lot is right next to the garbage room (see pic 5) which was disgusting and horrible. I also saw two guys working in the parking area and they seemed really unfriendly. If they ever film another Conjuring series this could be a perfect location. To be fair, I did notice that several other 4 star hotels in Whistler have similar parking conditions: dark, old and dirty. Fifth, it was a bit cold at night and I tried to adjust the room temperature but it didn’t work. I mentioned this to the lady when I checked out. If you asked me if I would stay there again, probably NOT. The price is okay for the room and the location is very convenient there’s an Old Spaghetti Factory inside the hotel and several bars, restaurants and shops are just 5–10 minutes away on foot.

nice location with many shops and restaurants around. Close to the beach and Granville island. Terrific view in the balcony and from windows. The staff are nice and helpful. Old neighborhood and some wonders at night which are not so desirable.

No había dónde ducharse completamente después de nadar. Nos despertó la alarma de incendios en mitad de la noche a la 1:30 a. m. y tuvimos que bajar caminando desde el piso 11. Tardaron 30 minutos en desactivar la alarma y no pudieron arreglar el ascensor. Así que las personas sin discapacidad tendrían que subir más de 10 pisos de escaleras para volver a dormir. El resto de la gente tendrá que esperar a que arreglen el ascensor. Nos costó mucho volver a dormir después de tanto ejercicio. Cuando hicimos el check out a la mañana siguiente con una señora en el vestíbulo, preguntamos si había alguna compensación por la situación de la alarma de incendios de anoche, solo dijo que era por motivos de seguridad, así que no darían ninguna compensación. El problema es que cuando preguntamos qué causó esta alarma, solo dijo que todavía se está investigando. Nos decepcionó mucho su respuesta, ya que el problema de la alarma contra incendios podría ser culpa del hotel si se tratara de una falla. Ni siquiera saben si fue por seguridad o por un sistema de alarma deficiente.

My husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs. The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting. For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

We had king room for a long weekend vacation and got upgraded to the tent. Muyzz was super helpful and friendly in assisting us with checking in and everything. Tubird restaurant was surprisingly good. I highly recommend the bacon and egg croissant.

La habitación era muy grande y espaciosa. Había habitaciones de rey y reina y ambos tienen su propio baño y baño. El hotel es un hotel con una sala de estar con un incendio y un balcón que contempla las montañas y los lagos. La cocina tiene todo lo que necesita. No pude pedir más. El hotel es fantástico.
