A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. This was a fantastic stay for me for a day. I had a train to catch the next day morning from the station and I could not believe that this hotel was so so good! The room size was big, very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to take a didi ride and I could not figure out the way, the staff came all the way near the ride point and showed me the directions. Its not one of those cheap and just sleep and go sort of hotels. Its a very comfortable and well run hotel. The only downside I would say is they dont have inhouse breakfast but they give you a voucher to use in a nearby food shop in the station. And thats something you can do on your own. So I dont see a merit in booking a room with breakfast but overall the stay was very pleasant, very relaxing and to be honest, I was blown away by the quality of my stay!

El hotel dispone de un transbordador gratuito a / desde la estación, sin duda un plus! Es un poco incómodo que tenga que llamarles para reservar el transbordador, porque no hablo mandarín y no hablan inglés, así que una llamada no sería posible, pero tal vez eso es algo que Trip podría mejorar en. Reservamos este hotel con la urgencia de escalar la montaña Huangshan. Superó nuestras expectativas y fue perfecto para un viaje en solitario. Podíamos reservar una habitación individual o doble.
