Fuimos una pareja, buen lugar para quedarse de pasada. El agua funciona bien, la ducha bien, el aire acondicionado no tiraba mucho frío pero servía para ventilar

Our stay was wonderful and the Easter chocolates for Easter Weekend was a nice personal touch. There were some minor issues (LED lightstrip behind headboard flashing constantly) that was immediately reported when we arrived and fixed within the same hour of our arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was safe (they park and bring out your vehicle when you need it). The only thing (but it wasn't a deal breaker) was the slight damp/mouldy smell in the room, but it's like that everywhere in the area due to the high moisture and humidity in the area. There are however some black mould spots that needs attention, just for the hotel to note - especially on the curtains and in the shower. Our stay was comfortable and breakfast was good (nice variety daily). Just please note that they do charge ”tourist tax” which wasn't indicated on our booking, Trip.com and the Hotel is responsible to disclose this beforehand.

Well-located hotel right in front of Pontal Beach, just a 5-minute drive from the bus terminal and a 10-minute walk from Paraty's Old Town. The bed was quite small, and so was the room; however, the bathroom was spacious. The room includes a small fridge, and there's a vending machine at the reception if you need drinks. Overall, you get what you pay for. Breakfast is served at a beach kiosk directly in front of the hotel. The same kiosk hosts live Brazilian music performances in the evenings, creating a cool and lively atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, and boat tours can also be booked through the hotel.

El albergue está a la derecha del mar, pero la playa no es realmente adecuada para nadar debido a la limpieza del agua. A la histórica ciudad se encuentra a menos de media hora a pie. Aquí también las excursiones de barco a mejores playas de salida. Está cerca de un pequeño supermercado para las comodidades necesarias. La piscina del albergue está bien mantenida y un agradable frío durante días calientes. Las habitaciones tienen una buena tamaño y son a un buen precio. La única cosa que nos confundió fue que no recibimos ningún jabón después de 5 días que nos dieron en los bares de jabón muy pequeños.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, pero la tarifa diaria podría justificar un poco más de mantenimiento y actualización de las habitaciones, así como una mayor comodidad en cuanto a colchones, sábanas y toallas; todo parece un poco desgastado. No hay necesidad de extras innecesarios, pero la renovación es clave.

What a little gem! The location was excellent and I even had the girls dorm to myself for 2 days!! No kichen facilities, but a fridge and a kettle are available. Such friendly staff! Construction going on at present but they are very considerate. The pictures are the view from the balcony of the ladies dorm.

Quand j’avais réservé pour cet auberge, j’ai eu très peur au vu des avis. Mais en réalité, tout s’est bien passé. Les dortoirs étaient correct, le petit déjeuner satisfaisant, et le staff très accueillant. Ils proposent souvent des excursions pour visiter la ville et le soir, des sorties dans des bars festifs. Le seul point négatif serait l’hygiène et la propreté qui pourrait être mieux.

La playa está a unos 10-15 minutos a pie, en realidad menos de 1000 metros debido a la pendiente, pero la bajada es más rápida. La zona circundante es mayoritariamente pobre, con muchas motos. Hay una pequeña tienda fuera del hotel que acepta tarjetas de crédito. Es seguro; la gente no sale de noche, ¡pero los extranjeros suelen salir tarde! La habitación tiene un balcón estupendo con vistas al mar desde la azotea. El desayuno es abundante, con fruta y huevos; puedes prepararlos en la cocina. ¡Buena relación calidad-precio! La limpieza es aceptable; se recomienda el servicio de limpieza diario.

Enjoyed our stay! Comfortable bed, clean, good breakfast and helpful reception staff. The hotel is not far from the main bars/shops/restaurants/beach however the last bit of the walk is up a steep hill. Which was fine for us but may not suit some travellers. Thank you :)

El Ibis Budget no dispone de secador de pelo ni minibar. Sin embargo, para pasar una noche sí lo hace. No recomiendo caminar de noche.
