From start to finish Dom Carlos Park did not disappoint. Helpful staff took our bag up stairs on arrival. Storage was available until our room was ready, map was given when requested to help us find our bearings. Room clean with fridge with selection of minibar which could be purchased, safe was also available. Towels were large and fluffy. Bed comfortable, with lovely pillows, black out curtains to help sleep. Room service used first night with excellent food . Breakfast was excellent good range of food. It was occasional busy and we were asked to wait in the lounge area but again well looked after and as soon as space was available we were taken in to wait. Hotel is in a good location, a gentle walk down the avenue liberdade everyday to where the action is, such as Rossio Station where we caught the train to Sintra. Great hotel would stay again. Cerca del aeropuerto, a 10 minutos en taxi. Yendo al aeropuerto sobre las 4 de la mañana, un billete costaba poco más de 4 euros, ¡barato! Hay un metro justo afuera del hotel y sólo se necesitan 20 minutos para llegar a las zonas más populares. Un hotel limpio y económico con habitaciones grandes y buena higiene. Sin embargo, el hotel no proporciona nada excepto toallas y toallas de baño. ¡Aún es muy recomendable y muy rentable!

Este albergue se encuentra a unos 3 km a pie del centro de la ciudad, pero tiene algunas atracciones cercanas (como la Monetaria de Jerónimo). La habitación es extremadamente pequeña, si te sientas en el borde de la cama e intentas estirar las piernas, lo más probable es que te golpees contra la pared. Reemplazaron nuestra habitación, ya que la primera habitación no tenía privacidad para el baño y la segunda habitación daba la ilusión de privacidad (como se puede ver en las fotos). No hemos visto a ninguna gerencia, ya que todo se hace a través de WhatsApp para contactarlos y ellos responderán. El desayuno estaba bien, tenía un poco de variedad, pero había más pasteles y galletas que comida real.

I spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts: PROS: - Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport. - Nice decors and overall pretty clean. CONS: - The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room. - Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

Un buen lugar para alojarse si viajas con poco presupuesto. La ubicación era buena y estaba bastante cerca de los lugares principales. Hay muchas opciones para comer por la zona. Quizás podrían mejorar la limpieza con más frecuencia para evitar que haya moscas por la habitación. En general, fue un buen lugar para pasar la noche.

Quando eu vi que o hotel se encontra em uma ONG, fiquei assustada, mas quando cheguei ao local me encantei com o carinho, cuidado e zelo pelo ambiente e por tudo que é feito lá. As suítes são separadas de forma privada e muito bem organizada. Os quartos são suficientes para uma estadia curta: limpos e confortáveis. O hotel fica de frente para a praia e fiz uma caminhada muito agradável na redondeza. Se procura um local acessível para uma estadia curta, vá sem medo.

La habitación no es muy grande, pero está impecable y la limpian a diario. El personal de recepción fue muy amable. El desayuno es bastante variado, siempre hay opciones para todos los gustos. El hotel goza de una ubicación muy céntrica, lo que facilita los desplazamientos, con paradas de metro y autobús a menos de 100 metros. Justo enfrente hay un hermoso jardín con jacarandás de flores violetas bordeando los senderos, lo que crea un ambiente fresco, romántico y relajante.

La habitación bastante limpia, aunq había un olor bastante raro. La ubicación era bastante buena, pero hay un centro de migrante justo enfrente y se pasan el día dando vueltas y bebiendo cerveza por los alrededores. La atención del personal fue excelente. El desayuno del hotel estaba bien. Y las instalaciones normales.

La ubicación del hotel está a 15 minutos en metro del centro y 30 minutos andando, eso sí, con la boca de metro a 20 metros del hotel cosa que se agradece! En general la habitación estaba bien, poco ruidoso y zona tranquila. Lo único “malo” es el olor a humedad y cañería que se cuela en la habitación desde el baño, pero ventilando se hace soportable. Igualmente, la tele no es Smart TV ni funcionan los canales!
