On arrival at 3.00pm we were told our room was not ready. Would be ten minutes. OK. After 15 minutes we asked again and were told 'in ten minutes' a second time. It actually took till about 3.45pm, meaning our plans for an afternoon walk were curtailed. Stayed in the Annex Studio: it was beautiful, decorated in a traditional Greek style, but (1) access to the toilet was dangerous if light was not on (a hole in the floor, to accommodate a huge pot, exactly where one would normally put their left foot) (2) the toilet and shower were tiny (3) 'normal' extras, like bottled water and milk for coffee, were missing, despite a price of £80 for one night (3) the duvet was less wide than the bed so not a comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast Service was almost non-existent, amongst the worst we have experienced in nearly twenty years of travelling in Turkey. We mentioned on arrival that we would need breakfast at 8.00 as we had a hospital oppointment. When booking I had requested gluten free food for my husband who has coeliac disease. The only person around when we went for breakfast at 8.00 was obviously unaware of this and simply walked away when I mentioned it. (I do speak basic Turkish.) His attitude throughout was surly. Had he been on duty all night? Breakfasts came from a fridge and were very cold, with apple slices rather brown; presumably plated the previous evening. No mention was made of eggs but about ten minutes later my plate was removed silently and an omlette put in front of me. We waited, but nothing else came so I passed half to my husband. Coffee arrived without any offer of milk, though that came when requested. I wanted a second cup but there were no staff in the room till a young woman passed through. I asked her for more coffee and the original man appeared, brought me more coffee, then ignored my husband's empty cup and disappeared.

El anciano del hotel es muy acogedor. Es un hotel relativamente económico y el precio está bien. Sin embargo, no hay plaza de aparcamiento en la ciudad antigua. Los amigos que conducen solos deben tener cuidado.

We loved the hotel , we booked the normal deluxe room with a city view we liked the room so much we booked again for a king suite when we came back to Antalya! Beautiful hotel with good breakfast and lovely service!

I had a wonderful stay at Start Otel in Antalya and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The service truly felt like a 5-star experience—staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. A special thank you to Naz at the reception, who was absolutely wonderful and even upgraded my room, making my stay extra comfortable. I also truly appreciated Mustafa, who was always there to help with my luggage with a warm and helpful attitude. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The Turkish breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, paired perfectly with their tea. I really enjoyed starting my mornings there. The only small downside for me was the coffee, which could be improved—but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The hotel’s location is also very strategic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and the charming old town. Everything felt accessible and convenient. Overall, Start Otel offers great value with excellent service, tasty breakfast, and a prime location. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Antalya.

The location of this hotel is very central to my dental appointments in Lara. I know the area well so knew what to expect. The breakfast at 8pm is one of the best I have encountered when visiting Lara with ”free breakfast”. The only complaint is with the paper tiny disposable cups for tea or coffee... as Westerner I do like milk with my tea/coffee so although the cups appear adequate for Turkish tastes they become unusable. A China or larger cup would be fantastic option. The space for socialising and to eat breakfast is a small terrace at the front of the hotel is very limited. When I visited a new Irish bar was been built at the end of the ground floor corridor. Rather worryingly they were testing the sound system for that bar which was far too loud (even at 4pm) so I have serious reservations that this noise will completely drown out any peace and quiet when this bar is open. The room was large, spacious, clean and well lit The ensuite fantastic for all needs. All in all fantastic stay... would recommend and give 5 stars if the future noise from the bar will be a major concern especially if travellers are attending dental or other medical appointments

Good location: located near the edge of old town, easy for tours pick up (no cars allowed in the old town) and exploring the old town in foot. Lots of restaurants option nearby. Nice and helpful staff, good restaurants recommendation from him! Amenities are basic but ill recommend it given then price

As always very clean and tidy and staff are very helpful and definitely value for money.. I have stayed twice now and will return again

La ubicación y el aparcamiento del hotel son excelentes. El desayuno era abundante y la chica de la cocina fue muy atenta y servicial. El personal de recepción del ***et, tanto de día como de noche, ofrece un servicio profesional. El único problema con la limpieza es un poco deficiente. Había cucarachas en nuestra habitación. Ya las han tratado, y los insectos se están volviendo locos, pero su aspecto fue muy molesto para mi esposa. Por lo demás, el ***et es un buen hotel. El simpático pájaro de la entrada es especialmente servicial.

Отель снимали на сутки. Номер небольшой, но все имеется. Завтрак включен, шведский стол. Персонал доброжелательный, любят животных. Уютный отель. Есть бассейн, но он расположен в закрытой зоне от солнца.

Una experiencia muy buena. Visité Antalya por primera vez. El lugar estaba muy limpio y acogedor. Tuve una estancia muy cómoda. La recepcionista y el personal fueron muy amables, especialmente Khris, de recepción, que hizo un trabajo fabuloso. Siempre respondió a mis preguntas con mucha amabilidad. El lugar tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia confortable. El desayuno también estuvo bien. El único inconveniente es que está un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad. Y se olvidaron de cambiar la bolsa de basura llena de la estancia anterior, probablemente porque la persona que hacía la limpieza era nueva. En general, es un buen lugar y sin duda volveré. ¡Gracias por una estancia maravillosa!
