El hotel tiene una ubicación excelente y conveniente, con muchos restaurantes cerca, incluyendo la cadena filipina de pollo frito Jollibee. El McDonald's de al lado también está convenientemente ubicado para excursiones de un día a las islas. Además, no está lejos del aeropuerto. El servicio de transporte del hotel al aeropuerto fue excelente; el conductor fue muy amable y charlamos durante todo el trayecto. La recepcionista del hotel, EWWAN, fue excepcionalmente servicial y paciente, incluso me ayudó a registrar mi tarjeta SIM el primer día. La habitación era espaciosa y limpia, y la cama muy cómoda. El desayuno comienza a las 6 a. m., y el primer día de una excursión, se puede desayunar en el restaurante a partir de las 5:30 a. m., ¡una gran ventaja! El hotel y el Henann Resort Alona Beach están en el mismo patio, uno al lado del otro. Cuando me registré, el personal de recepción incluso me proporcionó un servicio de transporte, lo cual fue muy amable de su parte.

This hotel really is the Oasis you need after the hussle and bustle of Cebu. The rooms are BIG, Clean and the pools are fantastic. Like everywhere in the Philippines service and staff are 10/10. The staff are sweet and can not do enough for you The beach at this Hotel is man made but the landscape and pools really make it special. Its perfect for a 2 night stay where you do not want to leave the hotel. The surroundings are pretty desolate. But the sheraton has everything you need for luxury, food options and relaxation. Also they play great R&B around the pool

Buen hotel. Tuvimos la mala suerte de alojarnos en la misma planta que un grupo de turistas chinos que empezaron a gritar a las 7 de la mañana en el pasillo. El personal intervino rápidamente. El desayuno está bien para una escapada de unos días; el beicon parece cocinado en tandas y recalentado cuando hace falta, por lo que está demasiado seco y no está como debería. La piscina está bien; da el sol entre las 10 y las 14 horas, y después está la sombra del edificio.

Buen hotel, pero lamentablemente no hay agua caliente, solo agua tibia en el mejor de los casos. Al llegar, me dijeron que la piscina no estaba disponible debido al mantenimiento, que es muy deficiente y no me lo informaron al reservar. Además, estaban haciendo obras encima de mi habitación, lo que generó mucho ruido desde las 7 de la mañana, lo cual fue muy molesto. El personal es increíble, muy amable y servicial, y la comida y el servicio fueron excelentes.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Fili Hotel NUSTAR. The facilities, amenities, and service from the room staff met our expectations. The pool, gym, and other amenities were excellent, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of selections. My daughter especially loved the complimentary popcorn, bread, and juice served in the lobby during check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. However, there were a few areas that could be improved, particularly during the check-in process. For a five-star hotel, the check-in took quite a while due to the long queue, which was disappointing after arriving at the hotel. I had reserved a Twin Bed room, but upon check-in, we were informed that only a King Bed room was immediately available and that it would take longer if we chose to wait for a Twin Bed room to become available. The staff advised that they could arrange the room later, but this would have required them to enter our room after we had already settled in. Then, the in-room staff delivered extra pillows and bedding. We opted not to proceed with the extra bed setup and simply used the spacious couch, which we moved closer to the bed and made up with the extra bedding. This arrangement worked well for the three of us and allowed us to rest immediately after a long day of travel, without having to wait for additional room preparations or have staff working in the room while we were already relaxing. Note that their standard check-in time is at 3 PM, we arrived at the hotel past 3 pm already. We were also celebrating my husband's birthday during our stay. During the booking process, I requested if it would be possible to display a personalized birthday greeting on the room's TV screen. The hotel kindly confirmed via email that they would arrange the greeting and also provide a birthday cake. We truly appreciated the thoughtful birthday cake delivered to our room, which was a lovely gesture. However, the personalized birthday message on the TV was unfortunately not displayed as promised. Another issue occurred during check-in regarding our breakfast entitlement. I had booked a room with breakfast for three guests, but the hotel's system only reflected breakfast for two. Fortunately, the staff resolved the issue without requiring any additional payment for our daughter after I presented my Trip.com booking confirmation. While I appreciate how they handled the situation, I believe these booking details should already be accurate upon arrival to avoid unnecessary inconvenience. Despite these check-in concerns, the rest of our stay was enjoyable. The room attendants were attentive and regularly checked if we needed anything, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, I would still recommend Fili Hotel NUSTAR for its excellent facilities, comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff. My only suggestion is to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the check-in process, as it sets the first impression for guests. Hopefully, our experience was an isolated case, and future guests will enjoy a smoother arrival.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt comfortable, welcoming, and well taken care of. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and professional throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist whenever we needed something, and their warm attitude really made a difference. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a relaxing stay. Everything was well maintained, and the bed was especially comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. I also appreciated how clean the bathroom and other areas of the room were. You can really tell that the hotel puts effort into maintaining a good standard of cleanliness. The location was also convenient, making it easy for us to get around and access nearby places. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What I appreciated most was the overall service. Sometimes a hotel can have beautiful rooms, but it’s the staff and the little details that really make the experience memorable. Here, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. Any questions or requests we had were handled politely and efficiently. Overall, I’m very happy with our stay and would definitely consider coming back again. It was a comfortable, pleasant, and stress-free experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff and great service. Definitely one of those places where you leave feeling satisfied and already thinking about coming back! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay such a lovely experience. ❤️

Fantastic stay and real island getaway!  View and waters are amazing, food was included in our stay (breakfast and dinner) and there are many free activities to take part. The view are spectacular! The rooms were clean and spacious for 2 pax- can fit up to 4 pax.  Favorite activity was to fish from the lagoon and watch the baby shark (white shark) feeding at 1130am and chilling at the hammock infront of the rooms.  Massages are quality if you want some wave asmr as they are done in the outdoor huts but only can do 1 hour blocks and require quick booking/advance booking as the masseuses are limited.  wifi connections are good islandwise but it’s more of chillax resort. The rooms have netflix and youtube.  do bring some night snacks or simple lunch as their restaurants close early at 9pm and ferry out are only during the lunch time

We visited Cebu's second best premium hotel over the weekend to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday quietly. The room was pleasant, but the wooden floor tiles occasionally felt hollow, indicating there might be an issue. I requested butler service, yet it took several hours and multiple follow-ups, which was disappointing for a five-star hotel. The breakfast was underwhelming, especially considering Fili Hotel, a more affordable and superior option than Nustar. I didn't enjoy their breakfast at all. The pools were under renovation; fortunately, one was available for swimming with the kids, but it would have been better if all facilities were operational. Overall, the hotel's readiness seemed lacking, and the staff appeared passive. During check-in, the staff's attitude was unhelpful; the lady was stressed and didn't explain breakfast details or hours, merely handing over the key. I likely won't stay at Nustar again and would prefer Fili if I return. For family stays, I recommend Fili over Nustar.

Ubicación: Relativamente cerca del aeropuerto, a unos 20 minutos, pero no hay restaurantes, salones de belleza ni centros comerciales alrededor del hotel. En días lluviosos o cuando vayas a un centro comercial a comprar recuerdos, te recomendamos utilizar un coche Grab (por cierto, el coche Grab desde el aeropuerto hasta el hotel cuesta unos 1.500 yenes). Habitación: tipo cabaña, lo cual es poco común en la isla de Mactán. Incluso el tipo básico es bastante espacioso y tiene una cabina de ducha y una bañera (es una pena que la cabina de ducha no drene muy bien). Tenía una Nespresso (cafetera de cápsulas) y 4 cápsulas, y en la nevera había 2 botellas de San Miguel (cerveza filipina), 2 botellas de zumo y mangos secos. Estos eran gratis. Había chanclas disponibles como pantuflas, pero si no te gustan las chanclas, te recomendamos comprar pantuflas desechables de Hyakuyen y traerlas contigo. Había un colgador de toallas en el balcón, pero no alcanzaba para secar los bañadores mojados, así que creo que sería mejor traer un colgador de alambre, un colgador cuadrado, un pellizco y una cuerda para lavar ropa. (Hay servicio de lavandería, pero no había lavadoras ni secadoras en el hotel.) Pueden entrar pequeños insectos, por lo que es mejor tener un insecticida simple (no se permiten aerosoles en el equipaje de mano ni en el equipaje facturado). tal vez. Instalaciones: Hay dos piscinas, una de las cuales es una piscina infinita. Aunque era un poco estrecha, había una playa privada donde se podían ver peces nadando. Creo que los zapatos marinos son imprescindibles ya que la arena es rugosa y rocosa. Se pueden alquilar snorkel, chalecos salvavidas y kayaks de mar de forma gratuita. (Snorkeling sólo una vez al día). También se realizaron actividades como motos de agua y paseos en banana boat. El club infantil tenía una gran instalación de juegos interior (de esas que se ven a menudo en los centros comerciales) (no sé mucho sobre el programa porque no lo he usado). También hubo actividades gratuitas como aquabic y vóley playa. Por la mañana te entregan en tu habitación una copia impresa que contiene estos horarios, pero el horario es bastante vago (creo que es típico de Filipinas que sea flexible). Puede que fuera temporada baja, pero puedo aceptar que algunos restaurantes estaban cerrados, algunos salones de belleza y gimnasios estaban cerrados y la tienda tenía una selección muy limitada. Servicio: Me alegra que el personal siempre me salude cuando paso. No es que tengan un servicio particularmente de alta calidad, pero como eso no era lo que estaba buscando, quedé más que satisfecho con el precio.

Fue muy decepcionante que no hubiera pantuflas ni toallas pequeñas. La ducha parecía estar en obras; le faltaba la mitad de la puerta, lo que provocaba que el agua se derramara sobre el lavabo, mojándolo todo. La ropa de lavandería se devuelve muy bien doblada, pero tarda un día, así que recomiendo entregarla con antelación. Los trajes de baño se secan rápido en el balcón. La piscina tenía varios tipos y era muy agradable. La piscina frente al hotel está abierta hasta la noche. Los niños estaban encantados. La comida del hotel estaba deliciosa. El personal era eficiente y muy amable. Los taxis Grab llegan rápido, lo que facilita ir a un gran supermercado a unos 20 minutos. Incluso al hacer el check-out sobre las 5:30 de la mañana, llegó un taxi Grab inmediatamente. Hay seguridad en la entrada del hotel y solo se permite el acceso a los huéspedes, así que nos sentimos seguros. Me gustaría volver a alojarme aquí cuando visite Filipinas. La playa privada era agradable porque no había nadie, pero estaba un poco sucia, así que no pude nadar en ella.
