Convenient Stay Near Kathmandu Airport The hotel is very well-located—close to the airport and right in the center of Kathmandu. Airport pickup and drop services were provided, which made our travel hassle-free. Food: The breakfast buffet was good, and the highlight was definitely the poori bhaji. However, the Nepal Thali was disappointing and needs improvement. Rooms & Property: Rooms were a bit small but had all essential toiletries. The building is a 7-story structure, so don’t expect spacious gardens or play areas for kids. Facilities: Swimming Pool: Available, but since it’s not temperature-controlled, it’s not practical in colder weather. Parking: Bikes should ideally be parked in B2, but there’s no lift access to B2, so you have to walk to the ground floor to use the lift. Suggestions for Improvement: Make the swimming pool temperature-controlled for year-round usability. Provide better access to B2 parking or reconsider the arrangement. Improve the quality of the Nepal Thali.

Esta es la segunda vez que me alojo en el Ramada Encore de Thamel. No me equivoqué al volver a elegirlo. Absolutamente todo es excelente: el personal, la habitación, el desayuno (¡madre mía, buenísimo!), la ubicación, la amabilidad de cada empleado, desde el primer momento. Un reconocimiento especial a Nikhil de recepción, cuyo servicio y apoyo, con una sonrisa sincera, es tan reconfortante como el sol en una mañana de principios de otoño. Y al personal y los terapeutas del spa, donde recibí un par de masajes magníficos. Katmandú es una ciudad hermosa, pero a la vez ajetreada. Thamel aún más, así que tener este oasis al que volver después de un largo día de paseo o senderismo es algo que atesoro. En mi caso, esto es aún más significativo, ya que dejé todas mis cosas para ir de excursión al Himalaya durante varios días y volví al hotel con la certeza de que me recibirían con gusto y de verdad. Una vez más, no me equivoqué. Gracias por marcar la diferencia y por comprender el significado de la palabra servicio. La ubicación es excelente, a poca distancia del barrio de Thamel. Está cerca de la zona, pero es tranquilo y silencioso. Nos ofrecieron bebidas calientes al registrarnos, lo cual fue perfecto para un cálido día de invierno. La habitación estaba muy limpia y tranquila, y el hotel tuvo la amabilidad de ofrecernos un pastel. El servicio de lavandería también fue muy práctico y eficiente. Todo el personal fue muy servicial. El tío, que estaba ocupado con nuestro equipaje, nos ayudó a identificar nuestras matrículas (ya que aquí las matrículas son en números arábigos), y el joven de recepción nos ayudó a reservar los billetes de autobús.

Got discount price from trip.com ,Excellent service and breakfast was included in it which we love it and would like to book again in future, didn’t got time to explore more . I would suggest management could do better for bike parking as we travel by bike and we could not find the shade and things got wet in my bike due to rain .

Hotel is in good location, staff was friendly who checked in us. I loved the room as they were quit big and comfortable, had an air conditioning in the room too. Shower facilities was good but could be better, plus point hot shower was available and bonus bath tub was available as well. Kettle was provided to us with drinking water, could be better if tea and coffee was available but staff was superb as they provided us with tea and coffee on request. Overall, it was excellent for me, in comparison to price, room sizes, location and friendliness of the staff. I even recommended my friend to stay as I was there.

Excellent location with many eateries right at doorstep. There is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel and serves excellent and delicious food. There is also a cafe at the lobby The room was superb I slept through the night especially after a long week of trekking The only downside is there is no smart TV and everything on the screen is Chinese. Best part is there is a washing machine at higher floor where guest can washed their dirty hiking laundry. Cleanliness of hotel:8/10

Very good value for money. The location is not ideal if you want to explore Kathmandu but it's perfect if you have to catch a flight the following day. The view of the city from the rooftop is also amazing.
