Lovely hotel. Clean and convenient. Friendly helpful staff. Meal in restaurant was well presented lovely food. Breakfast have plenty of choices but when we went down bacon had started to get a little dry and scrambled egg left a lot to be desired. Buffet style though so could find plenty to eat. Would we stay here again definitely and we would eat an evening meal there but would probably give breakfast a miss next time and eat out

Having visited previously we were very much looking forward to spending 2 nights at The Feversham Arms. We were disappointed to see how tired the venue looked on the outside the sun was shining and we looked forward to spending the afternoon having lunch by the pool and Soaking up the sun.  The service was below par and the food was average despite being quite heavily priced. There wasn’t enough seats to accommodate the guests who all obviously wanted to do the same thing. The pool area had uplifted flags with weeds growing and the pool is in desperate need of repair. Having visited previously and been treated with kind and courteous staff I was disheartened by the attitude of some of the service staff, especially in the spa area and the alfresco dining area.

Las instalaciones son comunes, el ascensor es muy pequeño. El calor es malo. El turbo es muy pequeño. Llamar a la recepción muchas veces para que nadie pueda reparar. El buen desayuno está bien, se acerca a la estación de tren a unos 12 minutos, y es conveniente ir a York. La vida se siente lenta y no hay mucho supermercado cercano.

Great place for location for what we needed Harrogate theatre , friendly staff and reasonably priced overnight car parking , 3 rd time stopping here and would do so again

Room was good, loved that the leisure centre was open till late so could get time at the pool and jacuzzi even after sight seeing. Breakfast was great, nice continental selection, and a picturesque view from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A potential improvement could be the hot water control in the shower - ours was a Deluxe room with bath. The temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold - there was no in-between.

Estaba en el centro de Middlethorpe Hall, en el spa, en la cena, en el desayuno y en el tratamiento de la mañana siguiente. Fue un sueño. El jardín también es muy agradable a pie y cada personal que cruzé los caminos con aseguró que me sentí bienvenido.

The room was satisfactory— not too big, but certainly larger than those found in chain hotels. The location was lovely; however, the standard room we received had a view of the parking lot. Due to the wooden floors, we were able to hear other guests walking around quite easily. The sauna and steam facilities were enjoyable, but it would have been great to have a bit more menthol or some options to help eliminate the smell of sweat. Thank you for your attention to these details.

My experience from entrance to reception was excellent, making me feel instantly at ease. It was clear that all staff members were dedicated and proud of their work, consistently going out of their way to assist guests. The breakfasts were truly wonderful and delicious! I especially want to commend Steve, the breakfast chef, whose outstanding cooking was matched only by his incredibly cheerful smile.

We had the most gorgeous stay at No.1 Guest House - if there wasn’t so much to see and do in York we would have happily just stayed in and enjoyed the hotel all weekend. The staff were amazing, especially Ellie, who made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. We loved just sitting in the bar area with a cocktail (the rosy margarita was amazing) and looking at all the art and the cute steam train. The hotel is sooo cosy and perfect for this time of year. We will definitely be back!
