UUsuario invitadoPerfect getaway with my bestie! The hotel is gorgeous and you can tell the owners really care about the hotel and its appearance. The attention to detail is marvelous. It is reminiscent of a luxurious 1920s hotel. Think old Hollywood charm, but with all modern amenities. Free and ample parking. I stay exclusively in the Blennerhassett hotel when visiting Parkersburg. We called down to the restaurant to have brunch delivered to the room and also had dinner on the patio while a bluegrass band played. The food was hit or miss but the service was excellent and prices reasonable. Scott was our waiter and he was incredibly charming. Very sweet and made us laugh. This hotel rivals Omni hotels I have stayed in that are 3x the price. The gift shop has a self checkout option which was perfect for grabbing a last minute souvenir. The room and linens were so clean and cozy and the robes so luxurious that we decided to forego our morning plans to lounge around in the room. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel and have already booked my next stay when I’ll be attending the Blennerhassett by candlelight event. There are also tons of events hosted by the hotel. I intend to bring my girlfriends and my mama to the womens getaway weekend in April. The hotel is more than accommodations when visiting, it’s worth traveling just to visit the hotel. 10/10

We tried to check in before the game, but since the other team stayed there the night before we were unable to due their late check-out. it was sort of annoying, but there was nothing the staff could really do. For their part, the staff were super nice, and we were able to change for the game in the hotel bathrooms which were very clean. The room was also very clean, but the cleaning staff left a cleaning rag on the bathroom floor. The bed was super comfortable. The room plenty big, and the bathroom was okay. Good water pressure. The breakfast was nothing special. It was just a regular buffet-style breakfast with a waffle maker, muffins, a few hot items, etc. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were kinda dry, and the eggs and Canadian bacon were not very good. The hotel is old, but you wouldn’t notice so much if the ceilings in the halls weren’t so short. They keep it up well, and they have replaced all the carpets. I would stay here again.

JJunesdaughterThe convenience of staying right at the ****** was the best part of the stay. It was great to walk right up to our room after a fun night without having to go outside. But other than that it was just ok. The staff checking us in looked tired and worn down. They were clearly used to checking in people who stay at ******s often but this was new to us. When I said it was our first time here I would have appreciated some info about breakfast and maybe an offer for a players card. Some staff were new so learning the job is understandable, but it just looked like it had been a really long day. The room was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The ****** was a lot of fun. Breakfast the next am was pretty basic, cereal oatmeal, toast, bagels, muffins and yogurt. The host arranging it all was lovely and helpful. He found earl gray tea for me when I asked. It was a fun overnight at an ok hotel. Glad we gave it a try.

UUsuario invitadoGood enough. The linens were clean, the floor was clean. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, and I would have to say the whatever contractor they hired did a shoddy job. There were lots of rough edges. It’s fitting that this hotel is in a college town because the work done to the room evokes the classic Morgantown “landlord special.” That said, we booked the handicap accessible room because my dad has mobility issues, and it was very well equipped for his needs. It had a full walk-in shower with stability bars, non-slip surfaces, and a shower chair. It was also located on the first floor right by a side door which made it so much easier for him to get to and from the car. The breakfast was really good by continental breakfast standards. We really enjoyed the warm cinnamon rolls. We didn’t use the office, gym, or pool, but they seemed fine. We would stay here again.

WWEIEste es el hotel más hermoso de este itinerario americano. El hotel está ubicado en una hermosa ladera. Cuando nos registramos por la noche, buscamos el hotel durante más de media hora. El letrero al costado de la carretera no era obvio. Fueron necesarias algunas vueltas para encontrarlo. Casi te rindes.
Me gusta el entorno interno y externo del hotel. Un hotel americano típico es el mismo que otros hoteles americanos. No hay hervidor, cepillo de dientes ni pasta de dientes, y las demás instalaciones son buenas.
El salón de arriba del vestíbulo del hotel es muy impresionante y hay una piscina al lado. Hay un campo de golf frente al hotel, un pequeño lago detrás y muchos ciervos sika junto a la carretera por la noche.
Si no tengo prisa, ¡realmente quiero quedarme en este hotel un día más!

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel was nice and we have stayed at Fairfield Inns before. However, the television was broken and needed to be replaced. There were lines on the display screen in two directions, a spot in the lower left hand corner where the television had been dropped or something hit the screen, and the remote control had a sticky substance on the back of it and had obviously not been cleaned. When my wife used the hair dryer, the plastic on the exterior of the hair dryer had separated and posed a potential hazard. The worst part of our stay was my wife finding a bug in the bed when she was straightening the bed for our departure.
The accommodations were not up to Marriott standards, but the desk clerk received our concerns well and apologized.
