We booked a room here on our honeymoon tour around Scotland and it turned out to be the best hotel we stayed at in the country. Not only did the staff work so professionally, they were also so personable. As a treat for our honeymoon, the staff gave us a gift of chocolates in our room when we arrived with a honeymoon card, as well as a dessert when dining in the restaurant. The restaurant was one of our highlights, if you are staying in the hotel do not miss it. The food was delicious, very well seasoned, and presented beautifully. Moreover, the staff in the restaurant were also so helpful, giving suggestions and recommendations and giving attention to us without being overbearing. The room looked out over the lawn with the towns cathedral in the distance. There was both a bath and a shower, the television was modern with a clean image, there were plenty of free coffees, teas and snacks in the room, and the bed was very comfy indeed. Don’t miss breakfast! The great food from the dinner in the restaurant remains during breakfast time too! I will be returning. This is a very special hotel.

Me friend and I, along with his very large dog, stayed here as a stop-over while walking the John Muir Way and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The room was clean and very comfortable with a powerful shower which was appreciated after a long day walking. In particular, all the staff were superb, so kind, friendly and helpful. We bombarded them with requests - Can we send luggage ahead? Can you collect the luggage from the taxi? Is it OK if we arrive quite late at night? Can we change from a double to a twin? Can you help us order a taxi for a large dog? etc - and everything was handled as if it was no problem whatsoever. We were also very happy to find the bar still open and buzzing with friendly locals when we arrived knackered at about 10.30 pm!

¡Reservé un traje king! ¡Se ofrece una habitación con dos camas individuales con un enorme espacio en el medio y sin baño! Luego nos pusieron en la habitación doble pero pagué por la suite king. Definitivamente necesitaría mi reembolso. El desayuno era decente, excelente ubicación, pero ¡siéntete estafado!

Lovely hotel and delicious food. We loved the location and the pool area and facilities. Only issue we had was the heat. It was particularly mild for November and the staff weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We were given a dusty and broken fan to combat the heat but sadly no one came forward with an apology when we brought it to staff that we had to leave the window open wide all night to try combat the heat. I know it wasn’t the individuals fault but good customer service would apologise to the customer and none of the 4 staff we spoke to about it offered an apology and they seemed disgruntled about it too.

The stay was amazing and the staff were friendly. We arrived at the accommodation pretty late at night after the check in hours but the hotel staff were available and helped us with everything we needed.

We are a couple and booked for a double room but given 2 singles room. Only found out when we went into the room. Went back to reception to show booking made for double, only then we were informed that there was no availability. We would have appreciated if this was made clear during check-in rather than finding out by surprise (with disappointment) and having to go back to reception to clarify.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very cold - air conditioning system that clearly doesn’t work. Did read other reviews prior to arrival and should have taken note as this seems to be a common complaint. Staff clearly aware as delivered an electric heater without question when asked for one. Breakfast okay. Will not cook poached or fried eggs only scrambled.

El hotel ofrece un buen desayuno como bono (el desayuno buffet era fantástico!). La habitación era limpia y cómoda, pero muy difícil de mantener una conexión WiFi en el cuarto (tenía que estar en el baño para obtener cualquier conexión WiFi útil). El hotel está en una zona de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el centro de la ciudad.

A very nice boutique hotel located in the city centre with tourist attractions nearby. My request for a quiet room at the end of hallway was kindly met. Tea, coffee, bottled water and cookies were provided in the room. King size bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Este hotel está en una excelente ubicación para explorar Stirling a pie, no puede vencerlo! Es un hotel básico, pero tiene todo lo que realmente necesita, sin frijoles. El personal fue rápido y útil, estacionamiento en el sitio. El baño podría haber sido más limpio, la presión de la ducha no es grande. Pero las habitaciones estaban tranquilas, la cama estaba cómoda.
