«The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, and the ladies who were cleaning in the morning were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked incredibly well - those were my two biggest wants. And the room was very quiet. I know there were guests on both sides of our room (we met in the hallway), but you never heard a sound from in the room.
That being said, there was a LOT of loose hair on the floor behind our bathroom door and on the sink counter, even on my pillow (thankfully I travel with a pillow from home to sleep directly on). The extra safety lock on the door was broken - it looked like the door had been forced open in the past. Finally, there was also a pill on the floor under my daughter's bed - a quick Google search said it was a rapid release Tylenol. While that wasn't a huge deal for us - my teen isn't going to pop random hotel floor pills - it might be a bigger deal for someone traveling with a young toddler.
In defense of the hotel, the front desk clerk asked me if the room was okay when I went to get ice right after we unloaded. I hadn't found any of those things yet, and I'm sure they would have tried to help us by either cleaning it or moving us. We were both exhausted and we're only staying one night, so we chose to just go to sleep.»
