I have never stayed in a hotel where the service and experience progressively got worse each day. Everything just started going downhill during our second day you wake up in the morning and the first thing that happens is you are asked about joining one of the tours and offer through the hotel and they do that every chance they get and the moment they find out that you have a booking For a tour with another company and not through them, they will just little snide comments and make you regret your decisions. The second thing was the food you had to order lunch hours before and when you ordered for specific time you get to the restaurant you still have to wait at least another 30 minutes to get it, I ordered calamari on one of those days for eight and only got four small pieces of calamari and that was it just for small pieces of calamari and fried plantain so that was basically two dollars per calamari. There was an element of feeling unsafe because one of the mornings as I was walking up to breakfast there was a strange man just walking around and when I get to breakfast, one of the staff members there tells me that there’s a man who has been asking about me and looking for me and as I turned there, that man is standing right there and my question was, how are you letting this man on the premises, and what if you wanted to come to me and you guys are letting him walk around this entire place because I ran into him on the other side of the hotel so there was that as well which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and uneasy and unsafe. They didn’t spray any mosquito spray as it’s common in the area to in and spray the room with mosquito spray at the end of each evening they only did that first night and we had to keep them and each time it was met with just a sigh of inconvenience like we were inconveniencing them getting there difficult worth it and I think that is the one thing I can attest to being the better part of this entire establishment, but that aside the services awful. You will go hungry, we told the bar open a specific time but it wouldn’t open. Also they change their rules at one day. It’s OK to have a meal by the bar closer to the beach the next day you can’t do that but then you’ll see them. Send them food down for specific people so that was also extremely offputting, I can safely say I will never set foot in that place ever again. Also, the WiFi was bad

Good location - in the center of everything in Stone town. They don’t have water coolers for clients - you have to go to the restaurant to refill. Also: it seems they bought another building. So they accommodated us in like 200 meters from main facility. Surely it’s kind of inconvenient but still ok.

Para cambiar y desplazar el tiempo, el envío gratuito es un hotel relativamente nuevo, mucho más caro que el hotel general del aeropuerto, pero en realidad es más viejo, no hay paisajes, agua de baño, etc. sólo hace 20 minutos de calor. El avión de la mañana se ha alojado con 70 dólares de anticipo, Necesitamos más agua para cobrar... y un beneficio para enviarnos gratis.

The location is at the quiet side if the Stone Town. Due to it is situated inside a small alley, the directions could be quite complicated and we were lost several times to head back to the hotel. Despite being assured that it's safe, we were tapped by few mischievous children when we passed by a school near the hotel. That said, the room and hotel itself was great. We particularly enjoyed the breeze at the open air loft, where we could view the sea and ships from far away. It was indeed relaxing. The historical bed and bath in the room made the experience so unique. The only downside was there was insufficient of hot water for the bath. The breakfast wise was in fact the best we had in Tanzania, not to mention the impeccable hospitality provided by the staff there. Special shout out to the helpful staff who assisted us with our luggage during check in and out. Bear in mind on the steep staircase up to the room and inside the room to the loft. It might not be suitable for those who have knee problem, as you literally need to climb up and down everytime to the washroom. Otherwise, it was quite a memorable stay.

Me alojé en este hotel al llegar y al salir de Zanzíbar. La primera vez fue una estancia corta y agradable. Desafortunadamente, en mi segunda estancia me cambiaron a la habitación 301, que es grande y tiene vistas a la piscina, pero necesita mantenimiento, sobre todo el baño, que necesita mantenimiento urgente. Es una habitación muy ruidosa, ya que se oye el ruido del ascensor y la bomba de agua. El mobiliario es lujoso, pero antiguo y necesita una reforma. La ubicación es excelente, con vistas al puerto, pero la entrada al hotel da a una calle llena de baches. El personal es amable y respetuoso.

Recientemente tuve el placer de alojarme en el Hotel Zanzi y debo decir que superó todas mis expectativas. Desde el momento en que llegué, el personal me hizo sentir como en familia, ofreciéndome una cálida bienvenida y un excelente servicio durante toda mi estadía. El hotel está bellamente diseñado, combinando la comodidad moderna con un toque de encanto local, creando un ambiente relajante y acogedor. Mi habitación era espaciosa, estaba bien equipada e impecable, con impresionantes vistas de los alrededores. Las comodidades son fantásticas, desde la refrescante piscina hasta el delicioso restaurante del hotel que ofrece una variedad de platos sabrosos. Lo que realmente se destacó fue la atención al detalle: cada pequeño aspecto fue cuidadosamente organizado para garantizar una experiencia memorable. La ubicación del Hotel Zanzi también es perfecta, ya que ofrece un fácil acceso a las atracciones cercanas, lo que lo convierte en una base ideal para explorar. Ya sea que esté de visita por negocios o por placer, ¡recomiendo encarecidamente el Hotel Zanzi para una estadía cómoda, relajante y memorable!

Room, Balcony, View from the room and Restaurant is really nice. But only one thing they need to improve in their reception customer service. Room I signed when I check in and Room I really received was different. They changed the room without notice. I asked why they said it's same room inside. But it was totally different. Changed room has no privacy at all. We have to close the window during the stay. And I asked for late check out when I check in. They told me to check last day in the morning. In last day, I asked again for 2hrs late check out. They refused my request even didn't check the system. Just say NO. I am very disappointed with their attitude. And when I checked the site there were plenty room left. As everyone knows Zanzibar is the holiday place. Most of 5 star hotels in holiday place, they run check out time very flexible due to flight time. No deserve to have 5 stars in customer service.

La habitación era bonita y limpia. El servicio es bastante bueno y proactivo. El ambiente es genial. También está el único restaurante chino en la isla Sang, a 300 metros, lo cual es muy rentable. Recomendado. Sin embargo, la observación de delfines y la isla prisión recomendadas por el hotel son relativamente caras, así que si es posible, busque afuera.

酒店的位置挺好，在stone town，去哪都方便。房間是特價的，在側樓，比較小也沒有電梯。服務一般。這些都可以接受。 最離譜的是夜裡酒店的風扇竟然把蚊帳掛斷掉下來了！然後連接蚊帳的金屬鎖鏈也被刮下來了！當時甩出來非常危險 我們馬上打電話給前台説明情況，結果他們衹是派人來把蚊帳收走。 第二天check out的時候又和前台説了一次。結果他們衹是輕描淡寫説了個sorry。沒有提出任何補償，也沒有任何解釋！ 以後不會再住這裏了，也不推薦其他人入住

Me alojé en este hotel durante dos días con mi esposa, el personal del hotel fue muy amable y servicial, lo que hizo que nuestra estadía fuera memorable. No me importaría quedarme aquí cuando visite Stone Town nuevamente.
