A rather belated review due to so much going on with the house, my apologies to the great staff of this establishment. My wife and I spent a protracted 3&1/2 weeks here after a trip overseas, due to a full renovation on our home. We found the service attitude of Anikit and his team ( apilogies I didn't get all the names) with other front desk staff Memory and Ryan, to be fantastic. Nothing was too much troule and their manner was more worthy of a top-end luxury hotel as opposed to a budget-priced one. Their efforts were totally worthy of a signicant raise in remuneration as they are real assets for keeping this business profitable. I will be recommending this hotel to all people I know visiting Welly that require value for money accomodation. Thank you, Ken

We stayed at Ramada Wellington and appreciated the friendly and helpful staff throughout our visit. The room was comfortable, and housekeeping is done every three days, with towels available on request if needed earlier. There were a few hiccups—utensils could’ve been cleaner, and the aircon/heat pump wasn’t working when we checked in on a Sunday. It took a couple of days to get fixed, but the team did provide a fan and portable heater in the meantime. Overall, a decent spot for short stays with a central location and warm hospitality.

Hace poco me hospedé en este hotel y tuve una experiencia bastante agradable. La ubicación central es fantástica: todo está a poca distancia a pie, incluidas las tiendas, los restaurantes, la costa, el teleférico, los museos de Te Papa y la animada calle Cuba. La estación de autobuses exprés del aeropuerto también está a solo unos minutos, lo que es muy conveniente. Sin embargo, tuve algunos problemas. La habitación tenía dos camas individuales, pero las patas no se podían cerrar con llave, por lo que tuvimos que usar cajas y muebles para evitar que se movieran. Además, hay bastantes escalones para llegar a la entrada principal. Si bien hay una escalera mecánica al lado para evitar las escaleras durante el día, acceder al hotel puede ser un desafío con equipaje cuando el acceso a la escalera mecánica está cerrado después del trabajo. Una experiencia notable fue una evacuación por incendio alrededor de las 2 a. m. Afortunadamente, el proceso de salida de incendios funcionó sin problemas y fuimos evacuados de manera segura sin ningún problema. Afortunadamente, no estaba lloviendo, lo que facilitó un poco la situación. A pesar de estos inconvenientes, la habitación estaba limpia y era cómoda, y el proceso de check-in y check-out fue sencillo. En general, recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel por su excelente ubicación y limpieza. Sin duda volveremos.

Tuve la mala suerte de coincidir un dia de partido de rugby nacional y la.limpieza y los servicios no fueron los mejores, por otra parte el dueño me explicó la excepcionalidad y fue consecuente con ello

The Angus Inn is ideally situated. It's directly opposite the Queensgate Mall and only a few minutes walk from the Lower Hutt Bowling Club where we were attending a function. The Inn has all the facilities that you need such as a laundry and a restaurant. The booking went like clockwork with no hassles. An enjoyable stay.

We are an 65. We can't turn on the TV if you say down load an app. I fancied about throwing the remote at the TV after 2 hrs of trying. How can i SIGN INTO MY OWN UTube or sign into my own NetFlix. IF I DONT HAVE IT... WAS NOT HAPPY. We were getting the ferry in the morning. We came down at 7.20am in the hope to get breakfast and the place was closed up. No breakfast ? When we arrived a young girl took my $35. For the parking and said we could come back in the morning if we wanted.. if you want to park your car it very safe but watch the door closes at night so someone has to get out to open in on the busy rd. You need to park on foot path and it's a tight turn in if you have a big ute like us. Shower was the best part of the room. Bed was very high as was on a HIGH wooden bottom. Everything was very clean and tidy. I guess we are not used to going to a hotel that has no reception to ask about the TV. Not sure if we would return.

Rooms at end of corridor on other side to China Street appear to be able to connect with the room opposite the corridor. However there is clearly insufficient sound proofing between them. Because I was a bit annoyed to receive a phone call from the desk around 10.30pm to pass on i presume the guests in that room, complaining of the noise from my room. I was alone and watching TV at a deliberately low volume that I simply cannot believe was annoying the guests next door. I could just hear it from INSIDE my room so it must have been barely audible next door. Despite poor sound proofing. But worse than that it seems they also accused me of smoking as the desk also passed on this complaint. However, MUST have been from another room or maybe even from the street if they had their window open. Why? I don't smoke so by definition not me!

Perfect for a short getaway! Comfy bed, great location, quiet. I didn’t try the breakfast which looked lacklustre but still sufficient for a basic continental breakfast I guess.

My flight was cancelled and had to book this hotel since it is located within the airport. Would consider this as one of the better airport hotels whenever I travel. Recommend staying here especially if you have an early morning departure or late night arrival.

La habitación está limpia, la ubicación está cerca de la estación de tren, está rodeada de gobierno y hay muchas cosas deliciosas en un supermercado muy grande junto a él, rara en Nueva Zelanda. Muy recomendable, hay otra cosa que es que nuestra estadía directa a las diez de la mañana no espera hasta la tarde.
